When A Backbencher Falls In Love With A Teacher's Pet

Typical Day in my life started with taking attendance of the students and writing a timetable for the day on the class board. It has been my habit since the very start of the academic year.

I had always been up to date with my work and never did the fun that is counted as essential in the life of a student. I won't say I was a teacher's pet.

I didn't want to complain about students all day and I hated it when they made assumptions about me. All my years in my school life have been quite boring as said by everyone else. Till that year.

What I didn't expect was that this boring life would become so interesting when I would help a backbencher as a part of my responsibility.

I still remember how the events did unfold in the most unexpected way.

I was walking through the isolated corridors of my school when I heard a cry. That said it was full of pure fear and someone desperately needed my help.

My legs moved in that direction and I was standing in front of a locked store room. I knocked on the door feeling a bit frightened thinking of a ghost.

"Hey. Is something there?", I asked on the other hand and that person stopped crying. "Suman", a male voice that seemed quite familiar.

"Shravan", I said in my shock filled voice. My hands roamed on the wooden door as I tried to push it or find a way to open it. "What are you doing inside?", I asked him.

He sobbed in response as heard him coming closer and keeping his hands on the door. "I got locked", he responded terrified. It was clear in his voice.

Locked? How?

"What?", I asked him. "Aneesh", he gritted his teeth. "He locked me inside", he explained, enraged. I felt furious. "He doesn't understand the meaning of limits. Isn't it,", I asked angrily and I heard his hiss of frustration agreeing with me totally.

"How is this gonna happen? Where is the key?", I asked him and he cried. "That...monster took it", he replied. "I am feeling like I am dying. Suman", he cried like a baby and I gulped.

"Don't worry Shravan. I am always with you", I said to him. "Promise?", he asked.

"Promise"

Suman Tiwari- Female lead of the story. A teacher's pet as said by everyone. A simple and pretty girl who has stayed away from group of backbenchers to avoid trouble and focus on her studies. Love interest of Shravan.

Shravan Malhotra- Male lead of the story. A backbencher topper guy who is loved for his looks and attitude. He is famous throughout. Believes in doing smart work instead of hard work. Love interest of Suman.
