Meeting as if for the first time

Emma was rather late by the time she'd reached and re-entered the college's campus, she didn't stop running the whole way there, well apart from a few breaks she had taken to supposedly stop herself from dying from too much exercise. In other words, she was rather unfit and needed to catch her breath on several occasions, she'd been running for a little over ten minutes and was rather sweaty and tired, her muscles ached and she felt as though her legs were going to give out.

Nevertheless, Emma kept running even once she was back on campus, she proceeded to rush as quickly as she could over to the room in which her next class was in. She reached the door and pushed it open with so much force that the door hit the wall roughly and the sound resounded throughout the classroom.
