Chapter 76...The Fallen God

"There has been a situation," said Coulson

"Alright"

"We need you here ASAP," said Coulson and he cut the call and the next moment ,Jack received a document in his phone

"Bastards!" Jack couldn't help but a curse, Fury played him, right at the start of their relationship.

Jack had told Fury that he will be receiving a hammer like object that no one will be able to pick, and that Fury will be notifying him the moment it was located.

But seeing the file, he knew that Fury didn't follow up with his part of the deal, Jack didn't have the time fo think much and immediately appeared, he arrived at the location shortly after.

"Fury , where are you?!"

"He is not her at the moment, Cedric" Jack quickly greeted Coulson.

"I need answers,I specifically told Fury to contact me the moment he found the hammer,her he didn't" complained Jack.

"I understand your predicament, Mr Cedric, but the thing is.."

"I don't need your excuses,I will remember today's deed and return it" Cedric said in a serious tone before he entered the facility.

The whole placed was filled with devices and many people were standing around a mound of dirt, scanning the legendary Mjolnir.

Looking at it from differed angles.Trying ro get a reading.

Coulson who had been left behind,quickly arrived besides the wizard, he knew that the other party was power full and mysterious, Fury had told him to keep an eye on him and extract any useful info he could about this magical artifact, if it was magical at all.

" do you know what this is!?" asked Coulson.

Although he knew that the wizard was a little stubborn

"Hmph! even if I did,I wouldn't tell you anymore" said Jack as he went closer to the hammer.

Several agents on duty moved forward to stop him but left it be once Coulson gave the signal.

Jack on the other hand kept observing the beautiful hammer from close distance,the scientist didn't know who this person was, but seeing that Coulson was here with the person, they didn't say anything and moved back.

'If I can pick this, will I get the powers of Thor.Wait, is that pervert watching me from above' Jack looked up for a moment.

Wondering if Heimdall was really watching him , Jack didn't put it to min and moved closer to the hammer.

He could feel his body reacting to the hammer.Not his body, but the magical mana within him kept reacting to the hammer.

He firmly placed his hands on the hammer and used his whole power to try and raise the hammer but no effect.

'If I can't use force,I will use spells'

Jack immediately took out his wand and cast several spells but failed to move the hammer.

After thoroughly humiliating himself, he coughed and moved back

"So...what is it?" asked Coulson

He was watching intently as The Wizard tried his nest to move the object but failed miserably

Jack sighed as hs rubbed his sore arms

"Have you heard of the legends of Thor"

"You mean,that Thor,the God of lightning" asked Coulson as a thought passed his mind.

He couldn't help but feel some chills

'Don't tell me that Gods exist as well ' Thought Coulson as Jack smiled and said

"Yes , exactly, this hammer is called Mjolnir, it is the divine weapon of Thor, he is here on Earth

, I won't be telling you any more than that, what you need to do now is tell me when this Hammer fell down exactly...Fury"

"So you knew?" asked Fury, A figure came out from the door, it was Fury.

"yes, now , answer my question"

"I will, but first-" Fury spoke, but was interrupted again

"Tell me, did a buff man with blonde or golden hair come to retrieve his hammer yet" asked Fury.

"No.."

"Alright,listen to me carefully, in some time , a man like I said, will come, what I need you to do is pretend you didn't have this Info and let him go after some time, and act as you usually do, this things is above your pay grade, contact me once the man shows up and leave it to me" Jack said as he appeared away.

Leaving Fury a little frustrated and Coulson, who didn't know what to do with the situation behind.

Jack didn't just go back home and stayed in the place, he went to the small town that was nearest to the fallen hammer and began looking for signs of an idiotic good who walked among men.

It didn't take him long to come across the self proclaimed strongest person and a big dumb idiotic.

Just as jack entered the restaurant, he saw the God of thunder smashing a glass on the ground

"ANOTHER ONE"

'surely an arrogant person scoffed Jack, he had half a thought to smash the guy into the table.

But decided to calm himself, since he had a hunch that Heimdall was watching.

'Besides he is my ticket to the Asgard" Jack thought, he knew that if he helped the Asgardian, there was a high chance for him to build a connection with the people on the other side and that was good for him.

"Hello, is this seat taken" asked Jack.

While Jane and her friend Darxy kept looking at Jack who was in his wizard form.

They had their mouths wide open, it was an unbelievable experience for them

The hero of Newyork, The Wizard was in front of them
