First Summon

Chapter- 08

'Is the construction of the power generator finished Cortana?'

I asked Cortana mentally through our telepathic connection as I flew through the main asteroid belt of our solar system in search for more vibranium for the construction of an energy shield across my base.

It's been about 2 days since the construction began and almost 70% of progress is done.

[Yes master, I've finished the construction of 'Arc Reactor'. It was a bit primitive so I upgraded it to produce cosmic energy to power your base]

Damn… her capabilities still shock me.

'So what's the fuel it uses?'

[It uses cosmic energy to create more cosmic energy in a continued chain reaction.]

'Wait, isn't that basically unlimited energy?'

[Yes]

Forget it, I can't even be surprised anymore. Just when I thought I was almost unkillable she entered and destroyed my whole ego.

Though I shouldn't be surprised I guess, after all she is the upgraded form of mother box which is basically the super computer of gods.

There's really only one or two things she can't do. Them being not being able to refuse my order and manipulate concepts. And that's it.

She's currently manipulating thousands of tons of different metals and elements to construct a 100 mile wide base on the southern side of the moon while holding things down by manipulating the gravity. All the while hacking the satellites and rovers to send misinformation.

I expected to see one of the watchers here, but he wasn't there. Which made me realise this verse is even more different from the comics. And there were no inhumans either. Which sucked as I wanted to copy their ability, especially blackbolts.

But them not existing is even better, one less thing for me to worry about.

I soon reached the asteroid the device Cortana made marked. It was supposed to direct me towards large clumps of any element that I ask to find.

'This thing is huge' I thought as I stopped the large vibranium asteroid and pushed it back towards our moon. I'm really grateful Cortana made this because if she didn't, I'd be lost in space for a while now. This shit is really confusing to navigate with a building sized rock in front of me.

Currently our plan is still on the first phase, which involves the construction of the base and a protective shield around it which will also act like a veil, hiding us from telescopes.

At the moment, we don't really care if someone noticed us terraforming the moon because before they could check it directly, it would be finished.

The second phase is completely terraforming another planet and transferring the whole base into that planet. I'm thinking Mars just to spite a certain billionaire and the American government.

The base Cortana planned is basically a space station which can float around, the only real reason I want it to be on the moon is because I really want to be the first one who did this.

Water wasn't a problem either as Cortana, with her matter manipulation, just made it from scratch using hydrogen and oxygen. The latter of which is more abundant than I expected in space.

The last phase is summoning someone, preferably Fubuki for certain reasons and checking how summoning works with humans. The main reason I'm even creating this base is to hold the characters I summon.

No way I'm letting them live in my house until I graduate and live alone.

The base will be around 100 miles wide and would have 24/7 power, water and various entertainment like bars, disco, arcades, swimming pools, training rooms and many more. All of this will be controlled by Cortana who will be able to observe the whole base 24/7.

Within a few minutes I reached the moon and saw how much more progress Cortana completed.

The base was already floating on the sky, it looked like a spaceship. Exactly what I wanted it to look like.

'Need any more materials Cortana?' I asked her while slowly dropping the asteroid behind her.

She was moving things telekinetically as the asteroid started to get refined by her matter manipulation.

[No master that was the last batch of metal required]

'Then is my job here done?'

[Yes.]

Sweet.

'Then I'll go back to Earth,' I said as I took off.

[I will inform you when the construction is done]

'Thanks Cortana. I don't know what I would've done without you'

It is true. Initially I was planning on making a base on some abandoned warehouse. And to think I went from that to a spaceship/station/base on the moon is wild.

Still not as wild as the fact that I have to go to school from tomorrow though.

Can't believe a week went by in a flash.

—---------------------------

"Phew… what a day." I sighed as I looked down on the city from top of the Empire State building.

The sun was setting and the sky was really beautiful.

This city is sometimes beautiful too, the places, the people and even the alleys. All of them are beautiful in their own way.

And in all parts of those, crimes are incredibly rampant.

It's been about a week since Tony got kidnapped and the public rage is dying down. Any time now he may return as Iron man and make the break as the 'first hero'. And soon a shit load of people will follow him. From the hulk to even Spider-man.

Speaking of Spider-man, the science trip to Oscorp was finally announced this morning. We are meant to go on Wednesday, the day after tomorrow. Ned informed me that.

I'm still confused on what to do, while I don't like Spider-man or Peter Parker, I don't want him to suffer either but at the same time I don't wanna be his nanny too.

He'll go through shit, and even more depending on what's his fate in this world. But I do have a parasocial relationship with him, and don't wanna see him suffer and definitely not see or even hear that Green Goblin Fucked Gwen Stacy.

That will make me pissed. So should I just interfere and not let the spider bite him and potentially let him have a good life?

Or I can just kill Norman Osborn. But that guy looks similar to William Dafoe. It makes me reluctant to just kill him for no reason.

"Well, I guess I'll go with the flow for now." I just simply laid back on the roof, at least happy that I no longer have to be concerned about my life.

The sun finally set and I portaled to my home.

Soon the next day rolled around and before I knew it. I was on the school's campus and almost everyone was looking at me and muttering about how I broke Andre's ribs in a punch.

I wonder how'd they react if I threw the moon at the Earth.

What a weird segway.

I didn't bother with anyone like usual and just walked to my classroom and sat on my seat.

"He's back…"

"Is it me or does he seem bigger?"

Everyone was talking about me, even the ones who never even talked to me. Guess the sheep mentality is real. I expected this much.

The classes started and went on till 3 PM.

I wasn't there in any club so I just gathered my books and walked towards my bike. Just like I expected, the initial craze the people had for me faded, well except a few who seemed to have a crush on me now.

[Are you going to ignore them forever master?] Cortana asked.

'What's with you always monitoring my life?' I asked back, ever since we started the build of our base she's been always active in talking with me telepathically.

[Do you find it disturbing?]

'Not really. Having someone to talk to without having to lie constantly is nice.'

[I'm glad I could be of help master]

'Don't call me master anymore. I thought I'd get used to it, but I can't. Just call me Victor.' Having someone call you master is weird.

[Yes]

*Vrrrooommm*

I revved up my bike and released the clutch, shooting past the students at about 20 mph. It's not crazy speed to me and I can handle the weight too.

I parked my bike back in my garage and put on black superman suit to go to the moon and see the progression.

'Blind the satellites Cortana'

[Done Victor]

Damn… hearing her say my name in that voice is making me feel things.

*BOOOMMM* I broke the sound barrier a few times, creating a few sonic booms and launched straight towards the direction Cortana was directing me.

I reached the moon in a few seconds and I have to say, my base was wild. I was able to see it from outer space. It seemed to be mostly completed and the only thing pending looked to be the barrier.

Just as I got closer, the door opened, revealing Cortana whose appearance was similar to the real one as well.

"Changed your look huh?"

"Yes Victor. You seemed to like it." She smiled back.

"Well you're not wrong… " She's spot on, "So what's pending to be finished?"

"The barrier."

"That's it?" I asked as I crashed into a couch nearby. The whole base was modelled by Cortana on the basis of my liking, so everything here is tailor-made for me.

She nodded.

So that went faster than I expected. Then that changes things again.

Now to test things.

"I'm going to use my power, wanna watch Cortana?" I ask her, no need to delay this any longer.

Her eyes widened a bit, as if she was surprised. "If you allow me to." She says.

She have emotions? That's a bit concerning. I guess emotions develop at a point with a processing power enough to make GTA VI in a second.

"Let's go to the training room". Both of us teleport to the training room. I have the power to do so and Cortana is just everywhere in the base.

"Hooo" I release a sigh and the anxiety along with it and summon my first living creature.

An ender man spawn egg.

It was just a dark coloured egg, but I could feel the heartbeat of whatever was inside. It felt heavy and had warmth too.

Should I just throw it? It's how Steve did it.

It should work right?

I threw the egg down and it instantly burst out. Soon, among the smoke stood a 10 ft tall ender man and I'll say, Ender man is fucking terrifing to look at in real life.

Some strange purple energy oozed from him and his eyes were simply empty to look at.

"What's this master?" Cortana's question broke me out of my mind.

"He's an ender man." I replied as I touched the ender man.

He looked lost but didn't hit me and just looked at me.

"Can you understand me?" I tried speaking with him.

He just stared back with the same empty eyes.

Great. He's useless this way.

I immediately floated high enough and cut his head clean off using space manipulation to make a small sharp space.. knife?

Unlike in minecraft, his body didn't just disappear and he fell down without even realising he died.

"Hmmm… I wonder if I pull his eye out it would work as an ender eye" I thought out loud. It should, right?

"I don't understand why you killed his master? Is he more useful this way?" Cortana asked me curiously.

"Yes. Watch it." I smirked as I placed the head back with the fallen corpse.

I slowly raised my hand above it, feeling my touch with its soul which was floating on the void. I slowly tried to pull it away from the while uttering the words, "Arise"

The corpse of the ender man slowly got engulfed by my darker than black shadow, merging the head and the body together as the colour of its eye changed from violet to blue.

It now looked to have intelligence and kneeled down in front of me.

"I didn't know you could resurrect others Victor. It's much different from the way I do it." Cortana said as she walked around the kneeling shadow ender man. "Is it related to the stimulation you asked me to make?"

"Yes." I nodded, my progression with Sung got stuck at 60% until this morning. I figured out it was due to the fact that I didn't 'experience' nearly dying. Even with Abomination, who was the one who pushed me the most, I still had a way to escape and was never even close to death.

So I asked Cortana to stimulate myself coming close to death in a fight with Darkside. And it worked like a charm.

"Go back" I commanded the shadow which nodded and sunk into my shadow.

"It seems to have gained intelligence."

"Yes" I nodded and spammed the rest of the 63 eggs all around the room.

All the enderman just stood at their spots and looked at eachother.

"I'll make it quick" I charged up cosmic energy and fired them from my eye like laser vision as it's the most precise. Decapitating each of them in under one second.

"Erect." I smirked as I resurrected all of them too.

This power is the best, I can enslave a summon even if they refuse me. What a great match. Now I have 64 10ft teleporting walbreaking beasts each of whom… wait what can they do?

I summon one of them from my shadow.

"Cortana, take him with you and examine his capabilities." I order her and turn back at the shadow, "You follow her orders and tell the same applies to the rest of my shadows too."

It nodded and walked along with a second Cortana who separated from the first. She can make however many clones as she places as her main consciousness is just a collection of energy.

Now that that's done, I'll have to move to the main game.

I'm gonna summon Fubuki.

I opened the Gacha screen again and picked out the Fubuki card from my inventory.

"Can you see this Cortana?" I asked, showing the card in front of her.

"This?" She asked back.

I figured out the summons of Gacha can't see the gacha. But even Cortana, who can see from my perspective whenever she wants to can't see this huh?

Interesting.

Well, let's not delay this even more.

I clicked on the summon button as the card turned into a ball of light which landed on the floor in front of me. The light soon grew and took the form of a female silhouette.

Both me and Cortana focused on the silhouette.

Fubuki appears in her usual rich-woman outfit, a dark green form-fitting V-neck dress with a high collar, thigh-high black boots, white pearl necklaces and a white fur coat.

She was obviously a beautiful woman, I dare say even the most among that I've ever seen. She was fit, tall with a slender build, short green hair which is styled into a bob.

Guessing by her purse in her hand, summons also bring some of their belongings huh?

And I have to day, Mary Jane is no longer the hottest person I know.

She looks around the training room with a poker face. I noticed Cortana looking at her curiously too, probably because of the psychic energy she's leaking all around.

Judging by Fubuki's heartbeat and body language, she doesn't seem surprised by the situation at all. But her stance shows she's on guard. But she's more relaxed than I expected.

She didn't move for a while and looked at me up and down before starting to walk towards me with swaying hips which I swear I didn't look at.

She walked around me, observing both me and Cortana.

"So you're the one who brought me here huh?" She said as she sat on a nearby chair, putting one leg over another. "You're younger than I expected."

Well… out of all the words that I expected, this was the least probable. At least she's taking it well.

"Sorry to disappoint but you get what you get." I shrugged and floated towards her to show my powers while mentally telling Cortana to make two more chairs and a table. Thank god Dick knew Japanese.

"Oh, I'm not disappointed." She smiled, "Yet"

"Yet? May I know why?" I asked as I sat on the chair and Cortana sat on the other.

"I don't like working under people" She said with the same poker face as she leaned on to the table, supporting her head with her hands.

It relieved her cleavage a bit but I didn't show any disturbance on the outside.

"But seeing you saved me from my inevitable demise, I'll work under you. But I have my borders and rights, if you violate any of that-"

"Then what?" I asked, genuinely curious, what would she say. And what's this about me saving her? Gacha did something again?

"Then I'll kill you." She replied seriously.

"Pffffttt…" I laughed out loud, "Girl, if it was your sister I'd be at least a bit concerned, you on the other-"

Before I could finish I felt an incredible force on my whole body, the same energy which leaked from her before.

"Don't anger me!" Fubuki shouted, with her palms in front of me.

"Stop," I told Cortana, who started making laser cannons.

"Sigh…" I just sighed and nullified the energy around me.

"Wha-!"

*FOOOSH* Fubiki's eyes went wide as I stood directly in front of her faster than light. The wind from my movement pushed her a bit back.

"I respect your rights and boundaries lady, but know that I'm a pretty chill guy but I'm not keen on mean girls. Got that?" I smirked at her as she just nodded with sweat dripping down on her face.

"Hmm!"

—-----------

"So… your world got destroyed, Fubuki!?" I asked her again, to be sure that I didn't hear it wrong.

"Yes." She nodded while drinking her green tea. "I thought you knew that while saving me."

"My powers are weird" I shrugged and lied back on the couch. "So how exactly did it get destroyed?"

"The moon crashed into the Earth."

"Do you need time or someone to talk to?"

"Not really. " She continued munching on her rice cracker.

Damn… didn't Saitama do anything? From what Fubuki said till now, there was no mention of Saitama. Is she from a Alternate universe? That's better.

It's been about 2 hours since I summoned her and after showing off my strength, she's been pretty chill.

We're currently in my room in the base, she's watching something on TV while eating Japanese snacks.

To start a conversation I asked, "Can I have some?"

She looked at me, and at the rice cracker. Back at me again and back at the rice cracker again, seeming having a mental battle and finally decided.

"No" She denied.

"Don't care." I just snatched it away from her and ate it.

She stared at me in obvious anger, "It was half-eaten"

"Even better" No wonder it tasted good.

"Youuu…"

"Victor, your dad is on his way home." Cortana informed me, making me get off the couch.

"Well it's time sweetheart, let's continue our date afterwards." I wink at Fubuki and opened a portal to my room.

"Date!?" She got flustered as I expected. Anime girls am I right? Easy to romance than real ones.

"If you need something ask Cortana and you have your own room by the way." I waved with a smile, "Have fun in the moon, Cya~"

"WE'RE ON THE MO-!?"

—-------------------------------

Fubiki's POV

Well this sucks.

One moment I was seeing the moon falling towards us and now, I'm being told that this is not even my universe by this robo bitch. When I felt like something was telling me to offer my loyalty in exchange for my life, I expected it to be a devil.

But what I got was not very different, he looked like a human but he shrugged off my hold and appeared before me before I could blink.

He should at least be at my sister's level, and if what this robo bitch says is true. He's even beyond that.

Well.. I'm at least alive. That's great I guess.

Currently I'm not in the room I first appeared in, I walked through a misty blue portal and now I'm in this new room.

It looks to be his room.

It is filled with video games, posters and lewd figurines and some manga collections. He's really a kid I guess. From his Japanese I can tell he's not native, but it is almost perfect.

He also gave me a tablet and told me to design the interiors of my room. Apparently, this whole base of his is controlled by that robot bitch and she's basically a god here and can do anything.

And seeing the technology he has, I believe it. From holograms to food creation from scratch, this place has it all.

He's good-looking and smart too, I just hate his personality but I can get used to it. It's literally the same as when I put up with higher-ranked heroes. Compared to them this guy's much better in a lot of ways.

He's stronger too…

Makes me wonder why he even needed me? Should I ask him? Will that make me seem weak? But do I even need to keep up my image here? Everyone in my world is dead anyway.

"You look confused"

"Ahh!" I jumped back in surprise as he appeared out of nowhere from my behind.

"Sorry if I scared you." He apologised and it seemed sincere.

"It's fine." I just looked away, not letting him see my embarrassed face.

"Can I sit here?"

"Hmm" I nodded absent mindedly.

"Want some?" he asked me, giving me some beer.

Usually I won't drink, let alone with a man but I was done with everything already and just took it.

"Are you sad about your world?" He asked, strangely not as arrogant as he was when I met him.

"No" I replied what I felt, "I don't feel sad."

"Hmm… It's ok to not be sad you know? Life is too short to be sad. I felt the same when I left my original world and started living here" He smiled as he drank the beer.

So he's not from this world too? Is his situation the same as mine?

"I don't need your assurance, I'm just feeling a bit down" I said as I opened my can and took a gulp only to find out it was just green tea.

I looked at him in question.

"I'm not legal yet lady" He shrugged and continued to drink.

Seeing him being so casual after experiencing something the same as me made me feel a bit better, that I'm not the weird one again.

"Did you feel the same?" I asked him.

"Like shit but not sad and crying?" He asked, "If so, then yeah."

"How did you get past it then?"

"I just got used to it." He shrugged and took another gulp.

"So, what is my work here exactly?" I asked him to know what will I have to do from now.

"The same stuff you did in your world, beat up villains when I ask you to."

That's not new to me.

"Help you?" I asked back, "You seem strong enough to handle your own."

"You're not wrong, beauty." He smiled and made me look up at his deep black eyes by holding my chin up, "but an extra support doesn't hurt."

"Am I even strong enough?" I asked, still mesmerised by his eyes, his face and even his voice. This is the first time I take a good look at his face and he's hot.

"For me power doesn't matter." He said as he patted my head.

I knew the hidden message behind it, I was literally nothing special to him.

"Why don't I give you a gift?" he smiled and stopped patting.

"What?" I asked, missing his head pats a bit.

He didn't answer me and placed his hand on my forehead, and soon I saw his whole body be covered up in a golden fire-like energy as it soon coursed through me too.

"Ahhh…" I released a faint moan as my body felt hot, I felt my powers growing… no, evolving as his energy powered me up.

I was right.

He's indeed a devil.

But someone I like.
