Chapter 1: The arrival of the farm

It was a Sunday morning on Tellus Mater¹, John woke up before the sun rose. When he woke up he had a bad headache from drinking the night before. John had just turned 21 and decided he would celebrate by going out to one of the local bars and drinking all night. When he came to his senses he looked around the room and saw the clock showing it was only 05:30 in the morning. He wondered why he had woken up so early considering he had been out until 03:00 in the morning, so he had only slept for around 2 hours.

When he tried to go back to sleep he though he had dozed off but found himself standing in a small field that was only 300 square feet (around 27.8709 square meters). While he was standing in that field he heard a voice in his mind say

[Welcome to the Divine Farm, Anything planted here will be increased in quality.]

When he heard the voice he assumed it was his own thoughts and that he was just having a really vivid dream.

He explored the field and noticed there was currently nothing on it. After staying there for what felt like a few hours he opened his eyes in the real world and felt well rested. When he looked at the clock again he noticed only a single hour had passed in the real world and it was only 06:30 even though he felt like he was on what was called the Divine Farm for 5 or 6 hours. He also noticed that he no longer had a headache and didn't seem to feel the effects of the alcohol from that night.

After waking up he believed that the divine farm was a dream but he decided to still see if he could get back there again. When he closed his eyes and thought about the Farm, to his shock he appeared inside the farm again. When he thought about leaving he opened his eyes and was back inside his room.

Once he did this a few times he realized it was not a dream, but that he had a Divine Farm space inside his mind. He was thinking about what to do with it when he decided he would try planting a tree inside the farm to see if it could actually be done and if it would actually increase the quality of the tree.

upon deciding this he got out of bed and took a shower before getting dressed to go out for the day.
