My New OP Skill Might Just Kill Me

Wanderlust plagued high school student, Alex. His fascination with exploring the unknown consumes his soul. Unfortunately, he was born in the age where the unknown is getting harder and harder to find, what with the advancement of human technology and what not. Almost everything has already been discovered. After almost dying from a freak calamity event while backpacking through Iceland, he finds himself transported in another world. This gave him a thrill, a chance of seeing things and sceneries no one has ever seen before. All should have been well if he doesn't constantly find himself in dangerous, life threatening situations. It's like something is very determined to dispose of him. SOMETHING WANTS TO YEET HIM OUT OF THIS WORLD. He does obtain the skill "Earth Shaker", which can be a lot over powered when you put effort into improving it. He could theoretically use it to protect himself. However, in the world where he's transported into, skills aren't bound only in a single core. This particular skill he'd gotten actually has 3 cores initially. Unfortunately, he only obtained the central core, which means Ryo can't use it to its full power. Ryo, apparently, isn't a chosen one and was just a victim of chance. His untrained, non-hero body can't handle the power he suddenly possesses. So unless he do something about this OP skill he's gotten, it could ultimately be the cause of his demise. Hounded by a sinister existence, Ryo journeys through the world in a mission to stabilize his skill and to strengthen his body, hopefully satisfying his wanderlust and finding worthwhile companions. Little did he know, that aside from the sinister existence hounding him, an apocalyptic event is brewing in the air. And it will ultimately fall in his hands to stop it. But that's all in the future, at present he just wishes to be able to use magic and his skill without feeling like he might die from power overdose.

那个不为人知道的故事; The Untold story by Twentine

*DISCLAIMER* This is not my novel. This is a translation of "The Untold Story" (那个不为人知道的故事)by Twentine Did you know that there are many unacceptable seeds in this world, which bloom into flowers in unknown corners. Minesweeper: Realistic, males are not handsome, females are not kind, those with the Madonna C complex should be cautious. Content tags: special liking, city love, match made in heaven Search keywords: Protagonist: Yang Zhao, Chen Mingsheng One-sentence introduction: Chen Mingsheng, I'm here to find you. SUMMARY Yang Zhao is an antique restorer who lives a luxurious but solitary life. Chen Ming Sheng lives a poor life as a taxi-driver in Yang Zhao's city. He was an undercover anti-drug police and lost his leg during a mission. After an accidental encounter, an unconventional love relationship develops between them. Despite social rejection as a couple, they look forward to a peaceful life together with courage. All is about to change when Chen Ming Sheng receives a phone call and has to return to his mission A note from the actual author I had a time during that time I can describe every minute with my poor words I can remember all the details with my depleted mind but this time is short It's like a story that has just begun and then ends abruptly I spend a lot of time trying to start new stories but without success I began to dread the kind of life that can only be described as "many years have passed" Even the dullest story must have an ending I'm so relieved now because of this untold story finally complete

Red String Over NamHan River

Trying to avoid her stalker neighbour, Kim Hana ends up running errands late as a sudden unexplained phenomenon traps her and the CEO of her new job, Kang Seo Joon in a transverse plane to be contract killers. Struggling to keep their life private from their colleagues while pretending to be husband and wife in the transverse plane, they rely on each other to get out of the situation they suddenly found themselves in, no matter the cost. Except: “Don’t think about it too much,” he said and she looked up from the tablet. “You seem to assume you know what I am thinking,” she commented. “I have handed a lot of people things to sign,” he said and she swallowed and used the stylus to sign where necessary. “You are right to be weary,” he said as he took back the tablet, “Don’t ever sign any document carelessly unless I gave it to you,” he said and her eyes followed his hands as he retrieved a bag and handed it to her. Inside were her medication and a box containing three rings, a pair of earrings and a bracelet. She did not need telling that these were very expensive brands. “What in the K-drama are these?” she asked and could not control the laughter that broke from his throat. It was a deep and soft laugh. She was so taken aback by it that she paused and stared for a moment. She was busy with all that was happening around them all this while, but now that she thought about it, he was really good-looking. Like something straight out of a Kdrama, there is a rich heir and his poor employee, who have come to each other's company through unusual means. Like a scene out of a telenovela, a young inexperienced girl is thrown into a large clan and must find her feet in this new family. Like a page ripped from a Wattpad novel, a young girl must navigate her relationship in the shadows of korea's underworld akin to the mafia and prove herself worthy of being there, whilst protected fiercely by a deeply complicated man. Red String Over NamHan River is a story of two different people broken by circumstances leaning on each other to survive. It has elements of futuristic technologies, large untouchable clans, time travel and fake marriages; all the right ingredients for a heart-pounding romance.
