Lovable Brother Part 1

Lady Syria's gaze turned furious and she pulled her one wrist free. "I will never feel shame." She said firmly then slapped Calder across the face. Calder became momentarily stunned, he really just wanted to compliment her but his words made things worse. She then raised her foot and landed a kick in the middle of his chest. He again fell backwards but only landed on the edge of the bed. His head bobbed off the edge and again he was looking at the ceiling.

Lady Syria grabbed her pillow and started to attack Calder with it. Calder didn't know what to do other then retreat, so he scurried off the bed before she hit a tender area. "Get out! Get out! Get out!" She shouted as she kept up her attacks. Calder slowly backed away but Lady Syria kept following him with her pillow attacks. When his back hit the door he took the opportunity to catch Lady Syria's wrist.

"You're too cute." He said as he pulled her in close and sealed her mouth with his own. The surprise attack caught Lady Syria off guard. She froze for a second then started to succumb to his touch. Calder released her lips then grabbed the pillow. "Lessons will start again later." Calder said with a giant grin then escaped, leaving a dazed Lady Syria alone in her room.

Calder turned around and came face to face with a group of people who tried their best to look as inconspicuously as humanly possible. "Cough, cough, your highness." A guard said as he tried to avert his gaze but he kept looking at Calder with quick glances. "Morning." Calder said as he suddenly remembered why it was so cold. He quickly covered his lower member with the pillow in his hand and tried to smile it off but he hand no luck. "Well, um, I guess you won't stop me from going to my room now?" Calder asked as he stared down the three guards and the new crowd that tried to clean a random spot on the wall, floor or pillar.

"You're free to go back." Another guard said with his gaze glued to the floor. "Brilliant.... um... you three should take the rest of the day off. You know what? Just take then next three days off for being so diligent." Calder said as he side stepped away. "Thank you, your highness." The three said but everyone had turned and glued their gazes to Calder.

Calder groaned he couldn't side step forever so with a heavy sigh he straightened his back, readjusted the pillow so it was secured against his member then walked back to his room with a calm and pride filled face. Soon a roar of voices sounded behind him and people were running to go report to everyone what had happened.

The moment Calder entered his room he let go of the farce and squatted down behind the closed door. He underestimated the speed the others moved at. Soon other servants and members of the palace caught sight of his rump as he walked back. Nothing was more mortifying then walking stark naked through the palace. He was just glad that his brother wasn't there to make comments but then again he knew Esai would bring it up at the worst time.

Suddenly Calder's stomach growled. "Breakfast..." Calder groaned. He quickly got up and walked towards his ensuite, the pillow was still in his hand and he stopped. He looked at the pillow and remembered his night with Lady Syria. With a heavy sigh he hugged the pillow against his chest. "I rushed... next time I will take it slower." He whispered before gingerly placing the pillow onto the bed.

Calder sighed as he stood outside of the dinning room doors. He really didn't want to go in but he had very little choice. His brother thought of everything and he couldn't get out of it, despite his protests. "Your highness?" A knight called out and it cause Calder to groan loudly. "You shouldn't make his Majesty wait any longer." The other knight said as they both looked rather uncomfortable with the situation.

"Do you think I could just," Calder started to ask as he tried to look pitiful to the knights but they instantly grimaced. Calder gave up asking. He knew what they were going to say as he was asking the same question the moment he opened his bedroom door and found them standing there. He wanted to go see Rutley but no one dared to let him know where he was being held or tell him how he was. He also wanted an excuse to not see everyone at breakfast.

"Your highness." The first knight pleaded. "I'm going." Calder sighed as he placed his hand on the door. He gently pushed the door open, he wanted to peek inside before he actually went in but to his horror the act was caught and there was no going back. "Duke Anahata!" He heard Esai shout with great enthusiasm. "G-good morning your Majesty." Calder called out with great reluctance as he cautiously stepped into the dinning room.

Calder flinched the moment he saw the backs of the two ladies already sitting at the table. "G-g-g-g-good morning ladies." He said as he walked stiffly pasted them and found his seat. The ladies rose and bowed to Calder. "Good morning your highness." The said in unison but the tones of their voices were vastly different.

Lady Britille sounded chipper and lovely while Lady Syria sounded like she had a rough night. Calder didn't dare look at the ladies, instead he kept his gaze glued to the table top. Esai sat happily at the table, like a child at Christmas time glancing between the gifts he had before him. Debating which one to open first. "Duke Anahata why is your gaze on the table? Are you by chance anxiously waiting for your meal?" Esai said with a sly smile.
