a good move

I had to move away. I was involved in a bad accident you see. I'm okay, but I have to move away from my old town. I bought this old farm house with a stone driveway online. I haven't seen it in person yet but I should be getting there soon I hope. I had to get a cab to drive me because it's in the middle of a nowhere apparently. The town I'm driving through is pretty creepy but, i noticed that there is a working factory in the middle of town, wonder what they make here, seems like it should be a timber town but no that factory is definitely burning something. "it's about a half mile up this road here" said the cabbie interrupting my train of thought. I looked up the road and it looked like the house was in the middle of the forest, "this place is kinda run down isn't it," I said to the cabbie. "hope it was cheap" replied the cabbie. I walked up to the rustic looking house and my eyes followed the vines up the walls leading to a large crack on the right side of the house, it was definitely gonna be a tough project to fix up this house but the cab driver was right. this place was extremely cheap and miles away from my old town.

I have to just put up with dirt until I get a new job and then I can start fixing this place up.

I cracked open the front door and a cloud of dust quickly fell to the ground. the place was coated in dust but furnished so you know, look for the positives. i flicked the light switch and suddenly to my surprise... there was light. I thought for sure there wouldn't be any power.

there was an old red fabric lounge couch in the living room and an old TV. I plugged in the TV and it actually turned no signal but it's getting late so I set up a make shift bed on the couch, I feel stupid not taking a look around but the house wasn't that big and I could see straight down the hallway from here so I just start binging shows on my phone. it's getting late anyway but... I just thought of something, what if there was a homeless guy held up in one of the rooms down the hall. I never even checked to see. I really should look around so I get up and start making my way towards the kitchen, I turned on the light and see a blue walled kitchen with a few old pans and pots on the wall. I walk over to the sink to check if the water works "why did I not do this before" I said to myself trying to ridicule myself at the same time, I felt weird. why didn't I take a look around before, it's like I just lost all my energy when I got here. I turned the faucet. "at least the water works" I said to myself. I walked towards the hall too the first door and opened it to see my new bedroom I guess. the light doesn't work in here so I pull my phone out to use my flashlight, I washed the light slowly across the room to see nothing but a bed frame with no mattress so I guess the couch was a good idea to sleep. I moved the light towards the closest in the corner, as the light hit the slightly open closet door I noticed something in the corner of the door, I walked slightly closer. it looks like a rat or something,

no its, it's hair I think. I get even closer and touch the hair to pick it up and suddenly! the hair pulls under the door and in the closet. "who's there!" I loudly shouted as I jumped backwards. there was no answer, what if it was a rat? i slowly creeped towards the closest door and carefully opened it. the closest is empty... I must be going crazy.

if it was a rat it got away somehow, i headed back to the couch to rest but as I walked back down the hall the house suddenly got dark. must be a power outage so I put the flash on kept going to the living room, its weird now none of the lights work but I have to sleep in too tired to worry about that just now. I lied back down on the couch and closed my eyes.

then suddenly I felt cold, I turned and opened my eyes. then I see the dark shadowy Wavey shape of a woman in the corner of the living room and suddenly the Shadow stoped moving and formed into a solid still girl with her face covered by her hair. her head tilted with a loud crunching noise and stared running towards me as I climbed over the couch in pure panic....
