"Thought it'd be an instant no," she hummed, not so seriously.
Gray scratched his beard.
"You don't seem to be lying is all," he replied. "But rules are rules. First, I need to know your identities."
"It's in the letter, no? Do you want me to remove my mask? I'd rather not, if it's possible."
The branch leader had given a brief introduction of Savine's identity and her genius in his letter.
"I suppose you can keep it. There's no one of your age among the people I should be wary of, and the letter did not describe your exterior in any way, so you can do what you want. However, your bodyguard's identity must be verified as well."
"Is that necessary?"
"Naturally."
Usually, Savine wouldn't worry about this. After all, how would they even confirm a random bodyguard's identity, but Eliseline was quite popular.
"Is it really necessary?"
"Now you're just being suspicious."
