Actually Nicholas is the most powerful person in the kingdom. There is not a single person in the kingdom who is above level 50 except him.

Only the king and some other person of the royalty are near level 50. This is mostly due to the low number of dungeons in the kingdom coupled with the fact that most of these dungeons are low level ones.

As for the talented adventurers, they went to the other kingdoms or empires for better resources.

There is also a special challenge which people have to face every ten levels. It is only after clearing which, they can reach the next level. If they aren't able to pass it then they can never reach the next level no matter how many monsters they kill to get experience.

Also whenever a person passes such challenge they get a random special skill provided by the system.

Nicholas also got such skills after every ten levels. Today after reaching level 100 he got a skill named Annihilation Strike, which he had used on the mobs.

But different from others he never got any challenge after ten levels.

"I just hope that nobody would come to disturb my peaceful life."

Nicholas put those thoughts and tried to sleep.

The next morning he woke up and saw a system notification. He opened it and what he saw shocked him. On the panel there was a big change.

He got another class- Wizard! All his drowsiness was blown away. He became completely awake.

After some time Nicholas got up and after eating brakfast he went to the forest on a wagon.

He is going to get some wood as they don't have much wood left.

As for him getting Wizard class, he dosen't care about it. He will live a normal life no matter what happens!!

Sometime in the future:

A person was standing in a wide street looking at the surroundings, his body releasing a malevolent aura.

His golden eyes were lifeless just like that of a dead person's.

His beautiful white hair are now dyed with blood.

Some time ago the street was filled with a lively atmosphere. People were going for their work. Soldiers were patrolling. Shopkeepers were shouting to attract customers. But now there was nothing but bodies here.

It wasen't just the street, the entire city was like this. Everywhere one looked, he could only see ruins and bodies of the dead...

"Damn, it's a Warlord level monster."

"Run into separate directions"

"There is no use fightning it. We will all die."

"NO, NO--"

"Argh-"

"HELP ME!"

Simon ran as fast as he could. He wanted to be away from that hellish monster as much as possible.

He was the leader of the newly formed party "Red Crew". They had taken on a quest from the adventure's association in Light city to kill a monster that appeared near a town.

Some weeks ago people of the Cherry town had come to the city to tell that there are sightnings of a monster near the town. Many people have also went missing.

Even though the adventurers' association of the town had sent adventurers, they were unable to kill it even after many days.

At first the association had assured the people to kill the monster, calming the residents a little. But even after many days they were still unable to kill it and the number of missing people also increased so some people from town came to the association of the Light city, which is the nearest city.

Unexpectedly they weren't attacked by the monster in their way...

As the adventures in cities are more powerful they should be able to kill the monster but the people of the town couldn't offer the adventurers much money for killing the monster and as the town was quite a distance away from the city, nobody was interested to take on the quest.

But after some days some members of the advemturers' association of Cherry town came to the city to inform their counterpart that they are unable to kill the monster and need their assistance.

So this time the association itself issued the quest and the rewards were also good.

Many adventurers flocked to get the quest but to their regret found that the quest had already been taken by a party named "Red Crew".

Even though it was a newly former party, it had considerable strength. Its leader named Simon is a Grade-II Warlock. The other members were also at the warlock level but they are weaker than the leader.

Simon was beaming with smile after taking on the quest. He felt that this was his chance after so many struggles and if he played his cards well he will be able to make a big profit.

This is because in reality he is an adventurer hunter. A person who strikes an adventurer when they are at their lowest and makes money by selling the adventurer's equipment.

He first joins a party and after some time when he completely gains their trust, he kills them.

Such people are strongly disliked among the adventurers and are hunted down. The only reason he was able to escape was due to Warlord level artifact which his father had given him.

The artifact just looks like a faceless mask. After wearing it he just had to think of the appearence he wants, and he could changed into it.

His father William had got it from a special dungeon when he reached the Warlord level.

Even though it has many restrictions like decreasing the level, it was still a rare treasure. Morever it is of Warlord level, people below Warlord level will not be able to tell any difference in him after he changed his appearence. Even Warlords will have an hard time to sense an anomaly.

Of course, the artifact is useless if they have a special skill that can see through his appearence even with the mask on but such abilities are very rare and these abilities need to be of the Warlord level or higher.

As for the people who are of a rank above Warlords- the War Engravers, they will be easily able to see through his disguise even without a special skill.
