"If I could just turn back the time, I would. If I just had listened to you and stopped, I would." My words halt at the moment as I felt the tears roll down my cheeks.
"If I could just touch you, perhaps I would. Let the time heal, and when it returned to its rightful place, then maybe we could." I step back and turn away from him as my feet hoofing out of that place.
