Raiding Libraries and Devouring Everything

It only took a few days to return to the sects' mountains with the speed of legendary ascension.

When we arrived, the Blood Moon Sect seemed abandoned, but upon closer inspection, I found that not to be the case. There were still some people left, just not hundreds like there used to be. Hopefully, the techniques are still in the library.

We strolled right up to the entrance and up the stairs. After entering town, the remaining people scattered and vanished, apparently they knew who we were. We walked straight to the library and entered. When coming through the door, I saw the same librarian at work.

"Helllllll Ah? W-what are you here for? I mean, what can I help you with?" She pulled herself together, even though she was trembling. Are we really that scary?

"Hello, I'm looking for the techniques you have for the legendary ascension realm."

She blinked a few times. "We don't have any; you'll have to ask another sect."

I think she is telling the truth. "What about supreme attainment ones then?"

She hesitated. "We have some; let me bring you some to look at."

I think she doesn't want me to see them all, but I want one of each.

"I'll follow; just show me where they are."

There was nothing she could do, so she just turned and headed for a section of the library, and we followed. After reaching the shelves, I started going along and touching the spine of one of each book, adding it to the storage. There were only about 50 or so, and it didn't take long to finish them all. As we left, I thanked her for her help and walked out the door.

When we walked out, we were met with a bunch of angry-looking people. One of them stepped forward, a guy looking about 60 in early supreme attainment.

"I am the patriarch of the Blood Moon Sect; you have committed atrocities against... blah blah blah," I tuned him out.

Turning to Luna, I said, "I'm not listening to this guy, got better things to do. Wanna kill him, or should I?"

Luna instantly appeared in front of him, and his head turned into blood mist. She turned back to me and asked, "Next place?"

I made a motion toward the direction of the Sun Sect. The rest of the group was silent, but the ones in the direction I pointed parted like the Red Sea. We strolled between the disciples until we reached the sect's edge, then started running again.

In no time flat, we reached the Sun Sect and went to their library. Unlike the Blood Moon Sect, the Sun Sect was lively, well until someone realized who we were. I also saw many faces that used to belong to the Blood Moon Sect, but they don't matter.

After entering the library, we walked among the rows of books, but none of them looked good. I picked up a few of the basic ones in case I ever needed them, but not many. At the back of the library, there was a door guarded by two peak core formation disciples. I'm thinking this is where the better stuff is.

I'll ask them to be sure. "Hello, I'm looking for the legendary ascension techniques."

They were sweating but stood in place. "They are guarded by the patriarch."

"Alright, what about supreme attainment?"

"We are tasked to guard them and are willing to die to protect them! Furthermore, the door is sealed so you can't open it." They took a fighting stance.

I shrugged. "Not a problem." I used my devour skill on the door, and it was gone in the blink of an eye.

We walked forward, and the guards tried to attack first but just got swatted to the sides like flies. After entering and taking one of each technique, we left. When we left, we were greeted by the same scene as at the Blood Moon Sect. A guy stepped forward and started to introduce himself as the elder in charge of the law enforcement hall, but I cut him off.

I held up my hand to stop him. "Are you going to try and stop us or not? Decide fast."

"Three"

His face turned purple. "You litt-"

I took that as a yes, and my fist met his face, turning it into blood mist.

I looked at Luna, "Time for the next meeting."

We took off in the direction of the patriarch's mansion, where he met us at the door.

"May I please ask what you are here for and if we can resolve this peacefully?"

"Of course! I'd like that also. We are just here to get our hands on legendary ascension techniques, no interest in fighting, as it's rather time-consuming," I said with an innocent smile.

He did not look amused but rather angry but calmed himself down; this guy seems smarter.

"So if I give you our legendary ascension techniques, you'll leave the sect alone?"

"Yep."

He sighed but had no choice. "I'll go get them."

"We'll come with."

His jaw ticked. Yep, definitely going to try that trick. He turned around, and we followed him through the house and down a flight of stairs into the basement, where there was a metal door. He opened the door and entered. There were many weapons and stones, but none of that mattered. There was a bookshelf with four manuals on it, and I stored them.

"Ok, thank you for your time, bye." I waved to him and we left.

We headed for the Twin Moon Sect; its state was pretty good and seemed to have many disciples that were once part of the Blood Moon Sect. After repeating the same process at the Twin Moon Sect, we received six manuals from them.

We decided it was time to leave this world. I opened the pocket world so Luna would have a safe space and explained I'd expand it for her later if she wanted and closed her in, then started devouring the world.

'Kitty isn't this a grand occasion? My first world.'

[Why does the first thing of everything matter so much; it'll be your first astral power world, then your first magic world, then your first apocalypse world, then your first this world and that world.]

She so doesn't understand why did I even ask her?

Reward: Cultivation God's Cultivation Manual. The cultivation technique invented by an immortal trillions of years old whose existence was lost to time but was once known as the Cultivation God. No, you can't use it now as this place cannot support it and would collapse directly.]

Oh, that's nice as it would allow me to use techniques that use the lesser energy, even though it might be inferior it would be nice once in a while.

The planet started fading away from my feet until I was floating in space where it used to be. Space in this low-level universe wasn't a problem for me at this point being as strong as I was. Then the moon was gone, and the sun extinguished its light. I was amazed, with the sun gone, the stars looked so bright!

I spread my devour skill out to the maximum and kept increasing its size every time I could. It was like a black hole around me as everything slowly disappeared. It also took so much longer than I thought it was going to; I had no idea of the expanse of the universe; it just went on and on and on, making me glad I'd slowed time down in the pocket world.

I'd also always pictured the universe as a plane, even though I know its wrong it's just hard to imagine that it goes so far up and down also.

After an unknown amount of time, the universe was gone. I stood in a blank space void of anything and containing no color. In front of me was a white ball that Kitty said contained the rest of the universes in that multiverse. There were also an uncountable number of other balls containing other multiverses floating around me.

'Kitty if I devour all the multiverses in this space will I devour my original one?'

[No, remember how there are ten spheres inside of each other and you are in the weakest one? Your original world is in the 3rd one.]

'So after I get through 7 spheres, I can visit?'

[No, the outer one is the 1st not the 10th.]

'How are multiverses made and what decides the power system?'

[They can be created by a powerful being, but usually they are just made naturally. As for the power system, they receive random attributes at the time of creation, most notably power system, and timescale. Even if the power systems differ, that doesn't mean they are used in a different way; some worlds use the power in the same way as the astral power world but the lesser energy is produced in a different place.]

I didn't question it more for now, and started devouring the multiverse in front of me. After I was finished, I had Kitty show me some other multiverses that might have techniques that would be useful for Luna, then I hopped in and raided their libraries.

By the time I was done, I had a nice-sized collection of many worlds' top techniques ranging from demonic ones that would alter the mind towards evil, to righteous ones that would do the opposite, and everything in between. Though some of them I don't think I'll give to Luna and just grabbed in case they are ever useful.

After I finished raiding some worlds, I once again entered the blank space between the multiverses and activated my devour skill on the rest of them.

While I spent an exorbitant amount of time devouring the multiverses, I increased the level of my pocket world, which would allow Luna to go past the realm of legendary ascension. It took about 1 year's worth of time in the pocket world to increase the world level from 1 to 2. This was because I had to make sure not to increase it too fast or Kitty told me a sudden increase in the density of lesser energy could crush her.

After all the multiverses, I decided it was time to visit Luna again before I move on to the next sphere.

I entered the pocket world and was met with a hug, almost knocking me over.

"It's been almost a year and a half, you bastard! I thought something might have happened to you, and I'd be stuck here forever!" she complained with a pout. Even though she was complaining about herself, I could see she was worried about me too.

Er, well, it's been a year and a half for you. I stroked her silky hair as I stood there.

"I missed you too," I whispered into her ear.

I held the back of her neck and gave her a kiss, my little brother woke up and pointed toward her stomach. She immediately reciprocated, and after a few moments, she wrapped her long legs around my waist, her plump springy breasts pressed into my chest. I walked toward the bed and laid her down, hovering overtop.
