Jason slowly opens his eyes to see a clown right in front of him which makes him utterly confused because moments ago he was attending his 18th birthday party when all of a sudden his vision went black and when he awoke he was sitting in a chair tied up.

*THWACK*

The the clown hits him with a left hook causing his eyes to fully shoot open looking in disbelief as the cheesy birthday clown hits him square in the face.

"What's your problem dude my parents hired you to entertain me not hit me in the face and what's with these ropes and why am I in a costume." Jason says looking at the clown in front of him and the costume on his persons right now.

The clown also looks confused tilting his head but then he lets out a crazed laugh like no other.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA DID I HIT BAT BOY'S HEAD A LITTLE TOO HARD!" The crazed clown laughs hysterically clutching his stomach.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT WHO ARE YOU!" Jason says trying to free himself but the ropes are so tight it's making his breathe unsteady with every movement.

The clown continues to laugh manically before wiping a tear from his eye and heading off somewhere. Jason waits looking at his surroundings figuring out he's in a sort of basement with boxes crowded around everywhere. The clown returns with a mirror holding it up the Jason's face to see clearly.

"Your name is Robin your batman's little sidekick and you both dress up and play hero." The clown says holding up the mirror to Jason which causes his eyes to go wide.

'This isn't my face THIS ISNT MY FACE' he thinks with the gears in his brain turning rashly trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

"AND MY NAME MY DEAR BOY IS THE JOKER THE BATMAN'S COUNTERPART AND YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH!" The joker laughs announcing himself to Jason.

Jason just stares blankly at this seeing his face with a mask covering his eyes looking in disbelief.

'What is happening' Jason thinks looking at himself but before he could look any further the joker throws the mirror to the side.

*CRASH*

The mirror crashes hitting the floor breaking into tiny pieces while Jason stares in disbelief watching the proclaimed joker in front of him reach into a tool box and grab something.

"Can you guess what this is called Robin!" Joker says showing off the tool in his hand.

"A wrench?" Jason answers looking at the obvious wrench in his hands.

"CORRECT 1 POINT FOR ROBIN!" the jokers says making a overdramatic expression coming up to Jason.

*SMACK*

All of a sudden the joker hits Jason with the wrench with blood spilling from his mouth upon contact with the wrench.

"WHAT THE FUCK!" Jason says feeling the immense pain with getting hit by a wrench.

"What do you mean Jason you guessed correctly so you get a prize HAHAHAHAHAHA!" The joker says laughing hysterically at the end of it.

The joker reaches into his tool box again pulling out another tool showing it in front of Jason so he could get a good look.

"Okay Jason what is this!" The joker says like auctioning off a prize.

"A screwdriver?" Jason says his vison very blurry with the wrench hitting one of his eyes.

"No silly its a crow bar minus two points." The joker smiles playfully holding the crowbar up high in the air.

*THWACK*

The joker swings hitting Jason twice making him black out his vision becoming dark with his last sight being the joker smiling.

Jason slowly opens his eyes to fins himself to be hanging from the ceiling his arms tied. Joker sitting in a chair drinking tie looks at this smiling evilly setting his tea pot down crossing his legs.

"Well hello Robin good to see your awake." The joker smiles crazily walking behind him.

"Why are you doing this I didn't do anything to you!" Jason pleads tears rolling down his face feeling all this pain.

"Its not my fault Jason it's the bats fault for bringing you into our fun." The joker says calmly grabbing a bat.

*THWACK*

"AHHHHHHHH!" Jason screams out in pan.

"HOMERUN HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The joker says after hitting Jason's back and then doing the seeing motion laughing manically in the process.

"I'M SORRY PLEASE SPARE ME PLEASE!" Jason pleads wanting to just give up to make it all stop.

"THAT WOULDNT BE A GOOD JOKE IF THE PUNCHLINE ENDED RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE NOW WOULD IT HAHAHAHAHAHA!" The joker laughed once more his face turning into a sadistic grin.

The joker hit him so many times Jason lost track sitting there unable to do anything while being beaten slowly with a man laughing in his ears the whole time.

Jason vision feel blurry once again his whole world surrounded by darkness with the last thing he's sees in the joker smiling at him.

Jason opens his eyelids hesitantly when pain suddenly hits him as he wakes up with his mouth gagged. The joker walks up from behind him with jumper cables putting them together.

"Okay Jason what's my favorite color?" The joker asks waiting for a response.

"ITAJ HAKJ AKJLFJAKJ KJLJALK!" Jason speaks out but the gag makes it impossible for him to speak out real words with only gibberish coming out.

*ZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP*

The joker applies the jumper cables to Jason's thighs while a sudden rush of electricity hits him causing his whole body to spasm.

"No the answer is black." The joker says shaking his head continuing to zap Jason.

The joker releases the jumper cables looking closely at Jason once again with Jason panting trying to regain any sort of breathe at this point. The joker brings the gag out of his mouth looking at Jason at eye level.

"Okay now for another question what is your name?" The joker asks very seriously.

"It's *Huff* Jason." Jason says truthfully looking up at the joker what is met with a disappointed expression.

"No silly your name is Robin." The joker says shaking his head in disappointment.

The joker once again presses the jumper cables onto Jason's body which sends electricity to his Nero system making Jason start to convulse.

Foam starts dripping from Jason mouth looking up at the joker's smile his whole brain feeling like it's melting.

"Last question who is Bats bestfriend." The joker smiles waiting for Jason to answer.

"You?" Jason says his mind spacing in and out trying to grasp the reality in front of him

"CORRECT!" The joker says clapping the spark plugs together.

Jason is assaulted with countless amounts of electricity keeping him on the brink of death and every time he tries to sleep in the endless darkness he's awaken by a sudden jolt.

The joker smiles looking at is work with Jason crying and foaming at the mouth going back into his toolbox reaching for a special tool. He reaches and grabs a crowbar looking back seeing Jason's state with him starting to slip into consciousness.

The joker's phone rings making him roll him eyes but none the less picks the phone out of his pocket answering it.

"What." The joker says dissatisfied at this sudden intrusion.

"Did you finish it batman is on his way?" The voice on the other line says

"No I'm still having my fun why can't bats just wait." The joker says stomping his feet like a spoiled child.

"JSUT FINISH THE DAMN KID DAMMIT!" The voice says hanging up the phone with the joker throwing it at the wall.

"FINE!" the joker says gritting his teeth but walking over to Jason.

The Joker hits him over, and over, and over, and over again repeating the action beating Jason's skull until hearing his breathe grow quieter and quieter until Jason breathing comes to a complete halt.

The Joker kicks Jason still mad he had to end his fun early but just shrugs it off walking out of the warehouse clicking a button.

*Click*

The joker keeps walking and stops looking backwards at the warehouse scratching his head in confusion.

*BOOOOOOOOOOM*

The warehouse explodes causing the joker to fly back as fire ascends within his pupils.

"THANK GOD IT WORKED THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY FOR A SECOND HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The joker laughs kicking his feet in the air holding his stomach.

The joker regains himself still chuckling at his humor leaving the surroundings with a motorcycle pulling up at the site. The man gets off the bike his cape flying in the air rushing at the explosion.

He walks into the flaming debris uncovering everything in his surroundings looking for something desperately. HE uncovers a batch of rubble to find a body with a familiar logo on it.

"Jason JASON!" He screams holding the child in his hands looking up to the sky crying in agony.

"JOKER YOU'LL PAY!" He screams into the night sky.

A couple days later

"BREAKING NEWS the infamous joker is once again apprehended by the vigilnte known as Batman for killing Jason Todd the adopted son of Bruce Wayne he was only 15 at his death and the Joker has been placed in the maximum security prison known as Arkham Asylum." A tv plays while a man just looks at it blankly.

A well dressed man walks up to the man with a clear after shave with sadness apparent on his face.

"Master Bruce the funeral is starting don't you wish to join?" The man dressed as a butler says trying to hold back the tears.

The man sits up going to his room not even answering his butler. A couple moments later he alks ut is a messed up tux walking outside in the pouring rain. People are gathered around a coffin looking very disturbed as the general mood is very depressed. The man in a tux walks up to the coffin ignoring everyone around him putting a hand on it.

'Jason I'm so sorry.' he says clutching his fist at his failure.

A man walks up to the grieving man putting a hand on his shoulder gripping it tightly.

"Bruce it's not your fault." The man says to Bruce and Bruce just looks at him with a dead expression.

"It is Dick and I haft to live with this failure for the rest of my life." Bruce says looking at Dick Grayson the former robin with a empty expression.

The coffin descends as the people shovel the dirt once it hits the ground burying the coffin in the mud with the people around slowly shoveling dirt to cover up the hold made for the coffin. Bruce watches with sadness as Jason is buried before his eyes.

The coffin is finally covered in dirt it being fully submerged in the ground with Bruce still looking at the grave. Everyone leaves but Bruce staring at the Grave the reads 'Jason Todd' finally turning around and heading back to his mansion.

Days past and nothing happens with just the usual with Batman catching criminals and then they just escape and the process repeats over and over again.

When suddenly a ripple in time happens with it hitting Jason's grave, at first nothing happens with it just being a normal rainy day when all of a sudden a arm emerges from the ground propelling its other half up as a body slowly climbs out of the dirt with a man finally making his debut into this new world that was thrust upon him.

He slowly climbs out of the dirt very injured and weak with his skin very pale looking up in the cloudy sky wearing a suit covered in mud with only one thought crossing though his mind.
