In addition to Yuga's team enduring three consecutive waves of attacks, other participants faced similar situations. Many teams had already lost their guarded mission objectives, consequently losing their eligibility to advance.

However, exceptional pairs like Marlon and Roxie, Viola and Grant, easily weathered the initial onslaught. They, along with Yuga and Brawly, patiently awaited the next challenge.

While Yuga and Brawly waited in silence, a massive Tropius descended gently, its four wings fluttering behind it, landing right in front of them.

Yuga and Brawly immediately became vigilant upon Tropius's arrival. Roserade, Vivillon, and Medicham readied themselves for an imminent attack.

Despite its enormous size, Tropius moved gracefully. Upon landing, it briefly glanced at Yuga and Brawly, then at the red flag planted behind them. Once it confirmed its objective, it opened its mouth, releasing a colossal Energy Ball that homed in on Medicham.

Tropius's attack was lightning-fast, catching Brawly and Medicham off guard. Medicham was struck by Tropius's Energy Ball, sent flying far away, creating a large crater upon impact, rendering it combat ineffective.

"Medicham!" Brawly cried out in distress. He rushed over to retrieve his incapacitated Medicham, returning it to its Poké Ball, and then sent out a Hitmonchan.

Simultaneously, as Tropius launched its attack on Medicham, Yuga's team retaliated. Roserade's Sludge Bomb and Vivillon's Hurricane were directed at the unyielding Tropius.

Tropius paid no heed to Roserade's Sludge Bomb and Vivillon's Hurricane, letting the attacks strike its body. Instead, it promptly used Sunny Day to create intensely clear weather and unleashed a Solar Beam that instantly obliterated Roserade, due to its overwhelming power. However, Vivillon, being of a higher level and erecting a Light Screen in time, narrowly escaped harm.

It's clear that this Tropius has the ability Solar Power, and the power of that Solar Beam was excessively strong. The thick golden beam instantly took down Roserade. However, Vivillon, being at a higher level and having raised a Light Screen in time, narrowly escaped harm.

This Tropius was about to unleash Solar Beam once more when suddenly, Hitmonchan quickly lunged forward and punched it in the chin. The Solar Beam that was about to be released couldn't escape in time and was forcefully swallowed back.

The burning sensation from Hitmonchan's Fire Punch on its chin and the explosive energy of the retracted Solar Beam in its mouth made Tropius scream out in pain.

In its struggle, Tropius flapped its four wings on its back and thrust itself into the sky, stirring up a massive gust of wind that carried debris and dust into the air.

Despite its initially gentle appearance, Tropius now glared down at Yuga and Brawly from above, eyes filled with rage. It began rapidly accumulating solar energy in its mouth, preparing for another Solar Beam.

Typically, Solar Beam under Sunny Day required no charging time. However, this infuriated Tropius began gathering power for an even more devastating Solar Beam.

Witnessing this, Yuga's Vivillon swiftly extended its wings, positioning itself in front of Hitmonchan, and erected a Light Screen.

As a Bug and Flying dual-type Pokémon, the Grass-type Solar Beam would only inflict quarter damage on Vivillon. Coupled with the protective Light Screen, the damage dealt by the Solar Beam was minimal.

Had Hitmonchan been in the front, even with its good Special Defense, it would have struggled against the attack.

Once the Solar Beam concluded, both Vivillon and Hitmonchan remained unscathed. Brawly expressed gratitude towards Yuga and Vivillon with a thankful look.

Tropius had expended a significant amount of energy executing the highly charged Solar Beam. Currently, it hovered in the air, its wings fluttering slightly as it recovered.

Seeing Tropius in this state, Yuga promptly commanded Vivillon to counterattack.

Vivillon's wings retracted, and like an arrow, it shot up to match Tropius's altitude. With a swift wing movement, two Air Slashes struck Tropius.

These two Air Slashes hit Tropius's wings precisely, and with a resounding "thud," Tropius crashed to the ground, emitting a spine-chilling scream.

The sound of this scream was so mournful that it even startled the Ribombee, perched on Yuga's head. It opened its eyes, glanced around in confusion, and shivered involuntarily when its gaze fell upon Tropius.

Through the cameras, the spectators gathered in the stadium's top-floor audience seats, representing various regions, reacted simultaneously with gasps. The impact of Tropius's fall seemed palpable through the screens, as if they could feel its organs shifting within.

"He's ruthless," the spectators thought in unison.

No matter how much the audience sympathized with the beaten Tropius, it was clear that the Pokémon had lost its ability to battle.

After defeating Tropius, Yuga and Brawly noticed that all the Pokémon they had defeated earlier had mysteriously disappeared. They had no idea how the organizers managed this.

Yuga took advantage of the brief respite before the next wave of Pokémon arrived to treat his defeated Roserade and Medicham with the help of Chimecho.

He left Chimecho outside for now, recalling Vivillon and letting it rest after a series of battles. The recent Tropius had been the most formidable Pokémon they had faced so far. If not for Yuga and Brawly's exceptional skills, defeating it with just one or two Pokémon would have proven challenging.

Meanwhile, under this wave of attacks, many other teams in different mission zones were eliminated, leaving only four out of five pairs.

The audience in the top-floor stands of the Battle Company Building included spectators from various regions, many of whom were experienced trainers. Throughout the competition, they silently kept an eye on the outstanding participants, including Yuga.

Besides the live audience, families in homes across various regions were watching the competition via synchronized broadcasts.

In Goldenrod City, Grandpa Milton from Goldenrod Market watched with his granddaughter Whitney. In Ecruteak City, Morty and Eusine followed the action.

At Mauville City in Hoenn Region, Mr. Kuni'o and Ryuichi in the manor, the employees in YoYo Day Care in Verdanturf Town and Joyka in Pokémon Center, Mr. Moore and Flannery in Lavaridge Gym, Mr. Norman and his family in Petalburg Gym, Mr. Juan in Sootopolis Gym, and in the Training Instructors' Office, Robert, watched attentively. In some unknown Pokémon Center, Reggie and Paul were also among the viewers.

In the Coastal City Gym of the Sinnoh region, there's Volkner, in some unknown Pokémon Center, there's Flint, at the Sinnoh League headquarters, there's Joyna, and Gardenia who is secretly Performing a secret mission somewhere.

All of these individuals are sitting in front of their televisions, attentively watching Yuga's battle.
