The Ravenclaw students, with Professor Flitwick's urging, hastened their departure from the brewing chaos. To make the commotion die down early.
Their destination? The Ravenclaw common room, perched atop a tower on the western side of the castle.
Under Robert's guidance, the students ascended up the dizzying staircase.
Finally, they reached a grandiose door, with a figure of an eagle engraved on it.
There was no handle or keyhole on the door, just a polished, aged plank with an eagle-shaped bronze knocker. ?
The door knocker looks old, at least a few years old, but Hogwarts is full of artifacts, and it's not too surprising that it's older.
Robert knocked on the door, and the hawk opened his mouth.
But instead of making an animal like sound, it spoked in a gentle voice, "What is something that you need to survive but you can't see. "
Robert didn't answered, but turned around with a smug smile: "We in Ravenclaw don't set up any hidden entrances,to the common room like other houses.
But rather some riddles, and if you want to enter you must answer, them correctly."
He proudly stated, "For almost a millennium, only Ravenclaw students have breached this seemingly simple barrier."
Some first-year newcomers might feel anxious about the questions posed by the Eagle Ring, but there's no need to fear.
We in Ravenclaw excel at learning, and you'll swiftly find pleasure in the challenges set by the Eagle Ring. It's typical to see around 20 people gathered by the common room door, working together to answer the day's questions."
Here's a reworked version keeping the essence of the scene while aiming for clarity and readability:
"It's also a fantastic chance to mingle with fellow Ravenclaw students across different years and learn from their wisdom—except when you're in a hurry rushing in and out for Quidditch gear," remarked Robert.
"So, about the previous question, who wants to give it a shot?" he continued. "Don't be shy, first-years!"
Cho stood up promptly and answered, "Air."
With that answer, the door swung open.
William was about to walk in with the rest of students, but before they could move Robert closed the door again.
He knocked on the door.
"Again the hawk's gentle voice echoed, 'Which came first, the chicken or the egg?'
Silence enveloped the room until Cho nudged William, almost causing him to collide with Marina.
Glaring at Cho, William responded, 'It's a cycle without a beginning or end.'
"The hawk" softly exclaimed, 'You're Right.'
with a clicking sound The door unlocked."
The door was closed again.
"For half an hour, the game of opening and closing the door persisted, with Robert being the one to shut it time and again.
William couldn't discern if it was an illusion, but he sensed a shift in the door knocker's sound, gradually transforming from ' warm and gentle' to 'impatient and hurried,' and eventually resembling the voice of ' An angry person'.
The knocker's voice seemed as sour as Professor Snape's. It appeared utterly exasperated with som many attempts from the students."
"As William observed Robert's intoxicated expression, he concluded that Robert was merely there to enjoy the variety of voices.
'Is this kid a voice pervert, perhaps?' William pondered. 'Definetly looks like a pervert.'
Amidst collective yawns, everyone strolled into the Ravenclaw Common Room.
A spacious circular chamber adorned with ethereal decorations, boasting elegant arched windows draped in blue and bronze silks."
"Above, the dome ceiling was adorned with a galaxy of stars, mirroring the dark blue carpet below that was likewise speckled with star patterns.
Tables, chairs, and bookshelves lined the floor, while a majestic white marble statue of Rowena Ravenclaw occupied an alcove opposite the entrance.
The lifelike sculpture of Ravenclaw featured sapphire blue pupils seemingly lost in contemplation.
A faintly teasing smile graced her face, her eyes looking toward an extra-large floor-to-ceiling window revealing the pitch-black night outside."
"Above her head, an exquisite marble circle displayed small engraved words:
' Wisdom is the greatest wealth of mankind.'
Robert exclaimed with excitement, 'Welcome once more to all the young wizards! This is our common room,
Our emblem is a soaring eagle who reigns supreme atop its pinnacle, like us always trying to achieve the most with knowledge. Our colors proudly exhibit the sky and it's stars equal to our thirst in knowledge.
"This place houses the smartest witches and wizards, just like our founder, Rowena Ravenclaw.
Some people might call us strange or eccentric.
But, you know, geniuses are often different from everyone else. Unlike other houses, we think you should wear what you want, believe what you like, and say what's on your mind.
We don't dislike different people with different opinions,
actually, we value and appreciate them."
Cheers filled the room, and Robert was forgiven for his earlier actions at the door.
Being in the second year often means feeling different. But after the prefect's words, everyone realized their uniqueness.
Repeated emphasis on individual qualities can strengthen a person, shaping the entire school's vibe.
Guided by the male and female prefects, the young wizards headed to their respective dormitories.
"The dormitory was quite spacious adorned with sky-blue accents and boasting Two bunk beds and one normal bed draped in bronze Bedsheet.
The luggage had already been delivered.
Boba sat proudly on the bed, half-squinting and dozing off. Nearby, a rabbit, a toad, a mouse, and a tiny yellow bear were present.
The four pets kneeling under the bed, wide-eyed and reluctant to sleep."
"At some point, Boba had become the dormitory's pet leader.
Once everyone washed up and changed into pajamas, they settled down and dozed off.
Boba rested in William's arms, both gazing out the window.
From there, they could see the black lake reflecting the moon's glow and the dense black, forbidden forest."
"William dozed off swiftly, and Boba nestled into the bed, curling up near his hand, purring softly as its tail wrapped around his arm.
In his dream, the door knocker transformed into an eagle-headed monster, mimicking the soft and gentle tone voice, seducing him.
As William neared, the Eagle Head opened its gaping maw and swallowed him whole."
