HP: Reborn with the Talent Upgrade System

The setting sun casts an afternoon overglow through the blinds of the curtain and it falls on a teenager highlighting his haggard expression and features. He wakes up from his sleep. His eyes portray a tiredness unbefitting of his age. One might wonder what hand he was dealt with in his short life to end up like this.

His name is Lucas Koljin, a 16-year-old high schooler about to start his college life. As an orphan from birth, the only thing he desired was to feel the warmth of a family who held him close. But life doesn't always go as you wish, rather than being loved he had to face being bullied by his peers who always found him depressing.

This pushed him away from others and made him form a wall around his heart that slowly suppressed his desires. His solace came in the form of reading web novels and fan fiction. His favourite is the work of Harry Potter and its fanfictions.

Now as he stirs from his sleep he gets up to close the blinds and goes back to sleep.

As he sleeps he wonders, "Will things be better tomorrow I wonder?"

He drifts off into the realm of Hypnos' not knowing this is the last time he will dream as as Lucas Koljin.
