How I Conquered the World After Starting as an F-Tier Loser

In a world governed by an unforgiving point system, where strength and status are determined by one's accumulated points, Alivium finds himself at the bottom of the hierarchy, an F-Tier loser with a point score of zero. In a society where improvement is the key to success, he faces an insurmountable challenge with no apparent way to enhance his standing. However, a twist of fate occurs when the deity overseeing this point-based world takes notice of him as an exception. Presented with an ultimatum – face immediate demise as the weakest or embark on a perilous journey to become the strongest by following divine missions – our protagonist chooses the latter, embracing the chance to overturn his fate. As he delves into the missions bestowed upon him, our protagonist discovers a darker path to power, gradually succumbing to the allure of villainy. With each mission completed, he inches closer to becoming a formidable force in the world, leaving behind his initial status as a powerless loser. Along the way, he encounters a diverse array of intriguing characters, particularly a group of girls drawn to his newfound strength. As his reputation as a rising force in the point-based society grows, so does the number of admirers and adversaries alike. The protagonist must navigate the complexities of his evolving relationships while grappling with the moral dilemmas of his chosen path.

Eerily Quiet

A silence hung over the apartment, darkness had spread to every corner as the sun fell below the horizon. Not a soul could be seen through the modern hallways filled with antiquities, a pitter-patter was all that broke the silence. The tap had not been turned off properly, now it haunted the house as Alivium was peacefully sleeping in his room. After the earlier mission, he had completely ignored 'God', watching TV as if it were any other day. On the floor were several wrappers of potato chips and various chocolate bars which were neglected for over a week.

A loud click rang through the empty house, jolting Alivium awake prompting him to grab his phone on the nightstand. He hopped off the bed and wandered to his bedroom door which was slightly crooked open, enough to look outside without having to step into the dimly lit hallway. Light shined from the corridor leading through to the entrance, a smile crept on his face before worry kicked in. At first, he thought it was his father, but he always turned on the lights and screamed for me at the top of his lungs despite the time of night. It couldn't be the butler either as he only is here during the day.

He slowly crept away from the door closing the little open gap.

*Pop*

Alivium's foot stepped onto a bag of chips that hadn't been opened which popped loudly, the person who had come in quickly ran towards his bedroom. In a swift move, Alivium locked the door before backing under his bed. Loud thuds banged heavily against the door, it sounded more metallic than fists, the intruder clearly wasn't here to steal goods.

*Ding*

''You seem to have found yourself in a little bit of a pickle ay? (¬‿¬)''

''No time for joking around, someone is trying to break into my room!''

Alivium looked around under his bed trying to find something useful against the intruder, all he came up with was some pepper spray and knuckle dusters his dad bought him. In a mere second, he equipped the brass dusters and pocketed the spray, he wasn't going down without a fight.

*Ding*

He stared at the blue text bubble on the phone, his heartbeat soaring higher by the second. He couldn't believe his eyes, he knew this god was crazy but this went to another level.

''I will give you 100 stat points....if you kill the intruder. ≧◠‿◠≦✌''

Breath started entering and leaving his lungs like a jet engine, his head started getting dizzy at the thought of killing someone, and he barely managed to punch his bully earlier which was something he would've never imagined before. But killing..that would make him a criminal, something his moral code could not allow.

*Ding*

''Well, what do you say kid?''

He looked down at his hands which were ready to at least deliver some blows to the intruder. The red window popped up again in front of him with his skills, he allocated five of his six points to strength with the remainder going into stamina. He scrolled further down noticing a title section.

''What is the title section?''

*Ding*

''Well with nearly every mission completed, you will earn a title based on the difficulty of the mission. These titles give you little power-ups, like a video game. You equip a fire-related defensive item and you get a higher fire defence. Get me? (っ^▿^)💨''

His finger touched the window equipping the title: Fearless Loser. {10% increased damage towards bully-type individuals.}

''I...accept your quest. I will survive this night!''

*Ding*

''Good boy, now get ready, I'm sure that door can't hang on for much longer. ᕙ( ︡'︡益'︠)ง''

Alivium ran towards the door, positioning himself to be behind the door once it opened up. He readied his fist and sighed deeply trying to calm the nerves. The banging on the door stopped abruptly, he grew anxious knowing this was the calm before the storm.

The door flew open from a powerful kick, his metal bar swinging around trying to hit anything and everything through the dark. Alivium swung to the back of his head first, knocking the cloaked figure to his knees. He readied himself once more before the back of his foot was hooked by the tail of a crowbar. Alivium hit the back of his head on the wooden floor before being pounced on by the intruder.

From his pocket he pulled out the pepper spray, unloading all of the contents into the man's eyes.

''AGHH- YOU FUCK HEAD! JUST DIE!''

His body shivered at the cry of the intruder, he recognised the voice from earlier when he had asked Alivium for his snacks on the way home. Alivium jumped to his feet and started throwing fists left and right, blood flying across the darkened room. All anxiety about becoming a killer quickly dissipated as memories of what he had to put up with because of Alex flooded through his mind. He had been a mule for his gang, whether it was carrying drugs for them or being an ashtray. Alivium knew that if he regained his footing he would suffer a fate worse than death.

*Ding* *Ding* *Ding*

The phone's screen lit up, softly glowing through Alivium's chest pocket as blood stained his white T-shirt. Alex fell to the ground, blood splattering across the floor, he had stopped making noises from being hit. He was dead, Alivium knew that but he still couldn't bring himself to stop punching, he was afraid that Alex would rise from the dead and get his revenge.

*Ding*

Alivium snaps out of his hellish trance his face covered with blood, hands dyed in crimson and a newly acquired hunger eating at him in his heart. He took out his phone, his shaky fingers smashing in the digits to his PIN.

''Wow. I didn't know you had that kind of monster in you kid. ⁀⊙﹏☉⁀''

Alivium opened up his window to the skill tree section. His eyes scanned a little before spotting the 100 new stat points. Alivium sat on his damp bed which had soaked up a significant amount of blood, he inspected the window carefully into what he could allocate his stat points.

The list included:

Stamina

Strength

Speed

Intelligence

Luck

Defence

Looks

So far he has allocated 12 points to three different skills. Strength, Speed and Stamina. They showed incredible results immediately. He knew he wasn't close to a superhero level but he had managed to raise his standing a little bit. And with these 100 points, he could rise to be among the middle of the school grading system.

Alivium thought long and hard about what he should allocate his points into, his mind constantly changing and trying to reason why allocating it to each different one was a good idea.

*Ding*

''Why not just spread them out evenly? (͠◉_◉᷅ )''

''I suppose you are right, that should be 16 in each then.''

Alivium allocated his points accordingly and headed down to the kitchen, scurrying around the kitchen for garbage bags. His hands nabbed some tea towels which were decorated beautifully with sunflowers and various different forest berries. He sprinted back to his room and started tidying up the mess he had created. 'God' made him kill Alex, but no one else would understand that, and worst of all, his dad would be disappointed. He would lose his son after losing his wife.

A wave of drowsiness washed over Alivium, but he tried to keep his eyes open regardless. This was the effect of so many stats points being used at once, the body needs time to adjust to it and grow according to where the stat points were allocated. A loud yawn escaped his mouth before collapsing onto the cold wooden floor. A tea towel was all that covered the crime scene created only minutes ago.

*Ding*

''Sleep well sweet prince, ❤(っ^▿^)''

==================================================================

''Jeez, a teenager's room is just as untidy as I have read in webtoons. Well, I can cut him some slack after making him kill someone. LOL look at his face, he is kind of cute after allocating so many points to his looks. And gosh did he get taller?''

The clacking of high heels reverberated through the empty apartment, she had started cleaning up the mess left behind by Alivium who was quietly resting in a large puddle of blood. She placed her hand on his cheek before bringing him to the bathtub and turning on the hot water. With a snap of her finger, he practically moved by himself, removing his clothes and washing himself. Despite the temptation to peek the 'God' refrained from doing so.

Time flashed forward as she continued cleaning and arranging everything as it was, leaving a surprise for Alivium to see once he woke up. Despite teleporting the first time, she chose to leave through the front door.
