It was raining heavily in K city that night. The sky was pitch black as if the sun was never coming again the next morning.

Inside Xingfu garden, the most prestigious building in K city, Ji Meiling was on the phone answering a call while rubbing her protruding stomach. She was pregnant.

"You have to come here after your admission test...you need to come here before I give birth" Ji Meiling said as she held the hand rail and carefully walked down the stairs.

"Yes...you must pass...so that my kid will have a good example" she said smiling.

She placed her foot on the third step and as she was about to place her second foot, she felt the hands of a person on her back.

Out of fear, she stopped. She stood still on the third step while holding the phone to her left ear. Apart from her, there was nobody in Xingfu garden. No servants, no family, no friend and no husband. She guessed that it was a thief.

"Who are you?" she asked as she tightened her grip on the handrail.

There was no answer. This made Ji Meiling's heart beat even faster.

"Sister...who are you talking to?" a male voice coming from the phone asked.

"No....Ahh!!!" Ji Meiling screamed as she was pushed down the stairs.

She kept rolling down the stairs until she got to the first floor. Her stomach was facing the floor.

Ji Meiling used the strength she had to turn her body to the side. She slowly moved her eyes down to her stomach and used her hand to touch her stomach.

The person who walked down the stairs came down and stood beside her wearing a mask. He dialed a number and held the phone to his ear.

"It's done" The man said.

Ji Meiling could barely see the man as her eyes were almost closed. The last thing she saw was the door closing before she finally closed her eyes.

"Hello...is any one there?...sister?!!" Ji Feng, Ji Meiling's younger brother asked as his voice was filled with panic.

"Shit!!" Ji Feng cussed loudly which made his friends Jin Yan and Li Shen looked at him in shock.

"Ji Feng..what happened?" Jin Yan asked.

"It's my sister...something happened to her" Ji Feng answered.

"Sister Meiling...what happened to her" Li Shen asked as he began panicking.

"I don't know... all I heard was screaming" Jin Yan answered.

"Didn't you say that she is 8 months pregnant... could it be that she's giving birth right now?" Jin Yan asked as he looked at Ji Feng.

"How come?...don't women normally give birth when it is nine months?" Li Shen asked a bit confused.

" You idiot...I wonder how you got to final year. Normally a woman is supposes to give birth when it's nine months but the baby can come earlier than that. It's called premature birth". Jin Yan explained.
