6. A Close Call
Dani slowly opens her eyes and found herself in a dark room, wondering how she got here. She stands up and look around. All she can see is the darkness. "Hello? Hello?!" Her voice echoes through the room. A few minutes later, she notices a light that is up ahead of her. She runs towards the light, as soon as she runs through the light, she found herself in the park. "Dani!" She turns around and sees him. Her eyes widened as soon as she sees Leo standing in front of her. "...Leo." He was standing in front a woman which is herself. "You're late." Leo puts both of his hands together and smiles. "Sorry. The meeting went longer than I thought." She pouts. He peeks at her. "Forgive me?" She smiles. "Just this once." He hugs her. "I love you." She smiles and said, "I love you too."
Dani's eyes filled with tears. She realized what she had seen was her memories. She starting to wonder why is she willing to see her memories. She tries to recall what happen and then it hit her. "Right. Those men. One of them strike from behind. Am I at the hospital?" "Dani." She looks up and sees Leo in front of her. She looks around but she doesn't see her old self. She looks at Leo once again, and pointed at herself. "You talking to me?" Leo smiles. He walks up to her and grabs her hand. He guides her into every single memories she had. Later, they both sit down on the grass, feeling the strong wind. Dani heard a voice. (Whose voice is it?) She heard it again. She stands up and looks around, but no one's there.
Leo stands up and asks, "What's wrong, Dani?" "I heard a voice." "A voice?" "..Yeah..." She kept looking around. "It's a man's voice." Leo grabs her hand. She looks down then at him. She was confused. "Hey, Dani. Stay here with me." "What?" "If you stay with me, then we can be together once again." Dani somehow had a bad feeling. She pulls her hand away from his grip. "Dani? What's wrong?" "...You....just who are you?" "What do you mean?" He reaches out and grab her hand to feel his face. "Dani, I'm your Leo. Don't you remember?" She thought about it. Leo interrupts her thoughts and escorts her to another place.
As they got closer, he pointed at the light in front of her. "That light. If you go with me and cross over the light, then we can be together." He looks at her. She looks over the light then back to him. (Something's not right.) She grew suspicious about Leo. Leo lets go of her hand and walk towards the light as if nothing will happen. She look at the light then was about to take a step. "Dani!" She turns around and sees another Leo. (What?!) He was panting heavily. "You cannot go there." Leo#1 steps in, "Dani, come here." Dani looks back and forth at them, confused. (Just what is going on?)
Leo#2 said, "I'm the real Leo." Leo#1 also said, "No, I'm the real Leo." Both Leo's glares at each other. Leo#2 said, "He's a no-face creature. He finds your weakness and uses against you." Leo#1 said, "Dani, don't listen to him." Dani takes a step back. "What was the last time location we were supposed to meet?" Both of them look at Dani. Leo#1 said, "Movie theater." Leo#2 bit his lip. Leo#1 looks at him and smiles. "Cat got your tongue?" Leo#2 looks at Dani. "I...never made it there." Dani's eyes widened. She starts to run towards Leo#2 but she got punch in the abdomen by Leo#1.
"Urkk." "Damn. I was so close getting her to come with me...but you dare to step in, Leo." She looks up and was shocked to see a man with no face. "How is it?" Her whole body shivers. Leo speaks up, "Let her go." "I won't." "She doesn't belong in here." "Leo, isn't this what you wanted?" Leo ignores him.
At the same time. BEEEEEEEPPP Joe was shocked to see Dani has crash. "What is going on? She was fine a while ago." Amy and other nurses comes running in. "Joe, I need you to leave this room immediately." Joe refused. "No I won't." Jordy steps him and force Joe out of the room. Joe throws a tantrum. "Does this even make sense to you? She was fine. All of the sudden---" Jordy sees Joe was in terror. In a calm voice, he said, "Joe...do you love her?" Joe looks at Jordy. "What?" "Do you really love her? Or (pointed at Joe's heart) is that love coming from Leo?" Joe was struck. He didn't know what to answer Jordy. "Joe. If you don't love her then let's go home." Joe was about to leave but couldn't move his legs. Jordy sits down on the bench with his arms crossed.
"You really love her." Joe was shocked at Jordy's blunt remark. "Your feelings for her is not coming out of Leo, but you." Joe remains silent. "Believe in her. She will be fine." Joe tries to find words to say but couldn't. Jordy then said, "Have a seat and let's wait patiently." Joe let out a sigh and sit next to Jordy.
At the other world, Dani was still in pain. Leo dash to the no face man and hanging onto him. Leo shouts, "Dani! Run!" Dani immediately gets up and run of her life. "Follow and stay on the yellow path!" Leo uses all of his strength to protect her. Dani stays on the yellow path and continues to run without looking back. Right in front of her was another light, but the light was in a different color; blue, the other one she saw was orange. She debates if she should go over or she shouldn't. "What to do. What to do." She then hears the no face man's voice behind her. She was determined to go over the blue light.
BEEEEEEEEEEEP .....BEEEP BEEEEP BEEEEP. Amy wipes her sweat on her forehead. (That's definitely a close call.)
