The door opened, and it was Alexander Foster.

"What's up?" Chloe Collins held the doorknob, not opening the door fully.

"What is this?"

Alex held up a small ball in front of her, a curious look in his eyes.

As expected, it was in his hands.

Chloe raised an eyebrow slightly, "You're interested in a girl's trinket?"

Alex's eyes indeed shifted higher, casually placing the item in her palm, "Don't be so careless next time."

In a few seconds of silence, his eyes seemed to deepen.

She thought he had something else to say, so she waited.

Unexpectedly, the next second, he left.

Chloe leaned against the door, casually watching him walk away.

That man, was a little strange.

After a while, she closed the door and put the ball inside the pearl bracelet, which was now complete.

She shook the bracelet and thought for a moment, then contacted Heijii.
