He Is Safe
Zibao stared at the torn barrier. The spot where the southern portal existed previously had completely healed. It was as if it had never been there. The soldiers exchanged confusing looks among themselves. They were specialized in combat, not in technical aspects.
The technicians and researchers instead would be of more help at this time. If there was at least a hint of the portal, they could try their best to fixate it and send troops inside who would be ready to sacrifice their lives at that very instant. But there was not a single sign of any tear in the space.
Zibao also understood this. Right, Steven had already told him that Ziran disappeared along with the portal. He initially thought by disappearance he meant only a hint of the portal was left. Till date that was the case for all the other portals. Which was why guards were assigned to the technically closed ones.
"Return back to the castle." He instructed resignedly.
