Chapter 1Caught

Hermione leaned back in her seat at her desk. she had been answering emails all morning and was already tired. "Mrs. Hermione?" She heard a soft voice from outside the door. "Come in." She replied with a smile. Her assistant came in with a coffee. "From your Husband." Her assistant said with a smile. She took a sip of the coffee. "Tell him I said thank you." She said to her assistant. She nodded and scurried out of the door to complete her task. Moments later she got a phone call. "This is Mrs. Hermione's office how may I help you?" She heard a small chuckle. "As formal as ever." Her eyes went wide as she immediately recognized the voice. "G-Ginny?" Her friend laughed. "Found you. You have A LOT of explaining to do." Hermione sighed. "Fine. Meet me at my office tomorrow at 3 o'clock sharp. Just tell my secretary you have an appointment and she'll lead you to the office." Her friend agreed and she hung up the phone. She rested her elbows on her desk and cupped her face with her hands. She groaned. "How am I supposed to tell him that-" She hears her door open. "Tell him what?" She heared her husband say. Her head shot up. He had his arms crossed. "Well. uh...Ginny found me." He tilted his head. "And?" "She's coming to the office tomorrow." He laughed. "So she'll see your working for me. It's not like she'll know we're-" She pointed to the nameplate on her desk. "Mrs. Malfoy." He sighed. "Shit." "She'll understand. Its Ginny we're talking about. It's Harry that I'm worried about." Mione said to Draco. He walked behond her and wrapped his arms around her and kissed her cheek. "It's okay babe. We'll get it over with on Friday. Invite her and Harry to dinner." She gasped. "Are you-" He nodded. "I'm sure." He left the office and she resumed her work until it was time for her to leave.

*At home*

Hermione parked her car in the driveway of Malfoy Manor. She opened the door and immediately got tackled to the floor. "Mummy! Your home!" yelled her 4 year old son. "Scorpio get off your mom." Draco said sternly, helping his wife off the floor. He kissed her on the cheek and helped her with her stuff that was now scattered on the ground. "I-Im sorry mum.." Scorpio said softly, tears forming in his eyes. "Its okay baby, I get it your just excited to see me." She wrapped her son in a hug. "Scorpio why don't you go play with your sister?" Draco said, ruffling Scorpio's hair. He nodded happily and ran off to the playroom. Hermione and Draco walked into the kitchen to start dinner. Draco grabbed vegetables frok the pantry and began cutting them while hermione prepared the pasta. Hermione decided to strike up a conversation. So...about Ginny." She said lightly, pouring the pasta into the boiling water. "Mione, your worrying too much. They'll be fine. And if they don't agree with it you know they just want you to be happy. Ron won't be nice at first once he figures it out but he'll come around. I promise. He kissed her. "Yeah your right." He smirked. "I always am." She laughed as they resumed cooking together.

But her plan is quick to catch fire from the moment the eyes of Roman Moltenore from senior year lands on her. And his appearance screams nothing but TROUBLE. "What rules?" Julianne asked with a frown as she read through the page. She was sure she hadn't seen any rules of the campus mentioned on their website. # 4. No using cell phones. # 12. Students should not roam outside the campus after eleven in the night. The further she read, the more bizarre it turned out to be. Her friend turned the page and then pointed at the last rule # 29. Listen to Roman Moltenore. "This is made up. Look, the last one is even written in pencil." Julianne couldn't believe that her friend from the next dorm thought she would fall for it. "And no phone?" "It is important you abide by all the rules. Especially number twenty nine," said the girl in a serious tone. "Remember not to get involved with Roman. If you happened to see him, run in the other direction. There is a reason why it is written down here." With the rules of the campus, she resorts to sending handwritten letters to her uncle. The Fate Of The World Is In My Hands, But All I Want To Do Is Eat!

'Kill monsters, eat meat' 'I mean, Kill monsters, save lives. Got it.' 'Tut, I could've sworn that the first one sounded better.' She wasn't a girl looking for freedom or self-righteous liberation by a hero, or whatever shit a girl who suffered for almost all her life would crave. -the shit of a life she was living was horrible, but it was bearable, and so she got used to it. Rather, instead of freedom, what this little missy wanted was money. Lots and lots of them so she never has to worry about the next day. Money - bountiful enough that when she has to spend, she doesn't need to look back or calculate her assets to see how much she has left. Money - bountiful enough to get all the fried chicken she could ever dream of. Yeah, you heard it, fried chicken. For those who did not have money to spare leisurely, getting fried chicken was like a pipe dream to them and she had been one of those unfortunate souls. A comfortable roof above her head and no worries as to when she would get ordered around to steal. No worries about when she would get her next meal-- That was her liberation. And she got it. Just that, she got it most absurdly. Awakened! Those were the people ruling the world, alongside beastly and deadly monsters who threatened the safety of average human beings. And those awakened call the shots. Alice never dreamed she would one day be awakened, and compared to others with their game-like system displaying their attributes and strength; she had a full-grown man whom only she could hear, watching her back at every turn and telling her what to do. He was kinda a pain in the ass but she couldn't complain. It was this gift he had bestowed on her that made her the most powerful Awakened there was with stats that even S-class awakeneds couldn't compare to. She was the boss, now. Mwa-hahahahaha. But life didn't go as easy and leisurely as she planned. With great power comes great responsibility, right? Well, in her case with great power comes great hunger. She couldn't go a moment without getting hungry and her stomach had become a bottomless pit. And to get food, she needed money, and to get money, she had to hunt monsters. The monsters plagued humanity, causing catastrophes and taking lives mercilessly. Those monsters, as scary as they may be, were her target and she had to face them head-on. The bigger the monsters the more money she would gain. Yeah, that was the plan, but... This guy acting as her system seemed to have other plans, putting her at the forefront of 'justice' and having her clean the mess he somewhat created. 'Ugh, I can already sense a shadow of foreboding. Someone, please tell me I'm not acting the main character role. I just want to eat, okay?'

Defy The Alpha(s)

Two centuries after the Great War, peace between humans and werewolves was finally achieved, or so everyone believes. Werewolves reign like gods, and humans remain blissfully unaware of their true place in the new world order. To maintain this fragile balance, each year, a handful of "lucky" humans are selected from various districts to attend Lunaris Academy, a prestigious institution that promises glory, status, and a chance to mingle with the elite. Those chosen are hailed as the lucky few, destined to marry powerful alphas and rise as luna. This year, Violet Purple is among the chosen, much to everyone's surprise. For an orphaned girl adopted by a disgraced prostitute, this is a golden ticket to a better life or so she's told. But Lunaris Academy isn’t the paradise it’s painted to be. Everything Violet and her fellow humans have been taught is a lie. Humans are far from equal; they're pawns in a much larger game. The academy is nothing but a gilded cage, and the students are lambs led to slaughter, playthings for the alphas to toy with in their ruthless games. To make matters worse, Violet catches the attention of the most dangerous players in this game, the Terror Four: the Alpha of the North, Alpha of the South, Alpha of the East, and Alpha of the West. Each one is more dangerous, more twisted, and more powerful than the last. But even among themselves, the alphas are divided, each with their own deadly ambitions. Yet, they all have their eyes on her. They expect Violet to play along, to fall in line like the others who worship at their feet, to break under their games. But Violet isn’t like the others. She refuses to bow. She’ll defy them all.
