The Revelation (2)

"So, you think that it is that person."

"I don't think so. I know so."

"How?"

"When I was ambushed, I saw a glimpse of that person from the other side of the road. The old housekeeper as well as the butler was also present."

"Now I understand why Aaron approached me in the first place."

Others did not understand the conversation going on between Sophie and her mom, Melania. C understood some part of it, and cocked his head to the side to look at Sophie.

"Don't tell me he is back!" C said.

"I am afraid so." Sophie said in a grim tone.

"But I have a gut feeling that whatever is happening is somehow or the other related to him."

Melania shivered. William, who was sitting beside her, took her hands into his own, rubbed it, and consoled her.

"Auntie, we are all here."

"I know, son."

Natalie suddenly asked, "Auntie, can you tell us whom are you all referring to?"

"Andrew." Melania

Everyone was deep in their own thoughts. They never thought that the actual enemy was Andrew Watson. A question popped up in everyone's minds, "How did Daniel, Aaron and Martha connect to Andrew?"

When they asked the question to Sophie, she did not answer, rather she couldn't answer.

"I don't know. All the clues are leading us to a dead-end. I don't know what to do!"

"Sophie, have you forgotten what you said to me, when I said the same thing to you few years back?"

"Uh…huh… I do."

"You said to take it one at a time. You said to fight it heads on when it comes."

"Mmm."

"So, do the same thing."

"So, what are we gonna do now?"

"Train.", C replied.

"What?", everyone shouted in unison.

"Ask her." He pointed towards Sophie, who was thinking about something unaware of the fact that everyone was now looking at her.

When she regained her senses, she noticed their gazes and asked, "Why are you all looking at me like that?"

They rolled their eyes at her. C kindly explained. "I told them about the training. They are asking the reason for the training."

"Oh, so, that the matter. I thought that some calamity is going to happen due to me." She thanked God. They rolled their eyes at her shameless words.

Their eyes seemed to accuse her that this thing was more than a calamity. She rolled her eyes at their accusatory glances and then cleared her throat and started explaining, "So, the thing is like this… Everyone will start training under C from tomorrow. Ruby, you too. I shall be present there tomorrow to dispatch each of you certain roles. You will follow the rules and train hard. Since, you all have you own businesses, everyone will take turns to do the training starting tomorrow. Did I make myself clear? Is there any problem?"

"What about me?" Melania asked.

"You will train directly under C."

"And you?" William asked.

"I have some other work. Other than that, I will be visiting the training grounds sometimes. So train diligently."

"Any other questions?"

"Ahem… I just want to know whether girls and boys will train in different places or not."

"No. Everyone will train together. As I said earlier, that there will be shifts for training due to the businesses you all do. Prepare a list of the two teams and submit it tomorrow morning. C will be the instructor, and he is a great trainer, so, don't slack off."

She went on and on in a leadership-mode. Her aura was somewhat different now. No one could refute her words. They were awestruck by the way she continued commanding or giving out various instructions. She turned to C saying, "Draft a plan for tomorrow's training. I want it ready and on my study table by tonight."

"Since all of these things are settled, I need to go somewhere. Excuse me"

She went away leaving them awestruck by her capabilities. But thinking of their upcoming hard days, they went off to do their own work.
