Chapter 1

(Yang POV)

The screams of students and teachers, the cries of fellow members, the pain from the battles. The fall at beacon caused collateral damage to not only the building but also the souls of those in battle. The deaths of fellow friends and students, the injuries of those who battled, scars made and battles lost. I could only remember the trembling and tears of my dear sister crying over the top of me with her hands cupped on my face. The pain of my severed right arm. The ashes from fires travelling around the debris ground. Two members of team RWBY, Weiss and Ruby were the only members I could see.

"Where's Blake" I spoke in my croaky voice from waking up

The two were not looking at me in the eyes, something was off. I looked around searching, seeking for one person. My one love Blake.

"Where's Blake guys"

Ruby and Weiss hesitated before they spoke in an awkward manner.

"SHE RAN OFF" Weiss angrily yelled, "Sorry, I didn't mean to yell, It's just frustrating". Ruby was consoling Weiss after her say. I felt a pang in my heart, she left me, here all alone and ran off without saying goodbye. I felt frustrated, angry but mostly sad, sad that she didn't even say goodbye and just left, leaving me here. I struggled to get up as I know that my right non-existent arm couldn't help me. I could feel ringing in my head, painful memories came rushing in like water, the memories of Adam (Blake's former lover) slashing my arm off when I tried to save Blake and ... Blank, nothing. I couldn't recall anything that happened after that, the more I tried to recall it my head hurt more.

"Ruby, Weiss do you know where she went," I asked stuttering.

"... she left you here and disappeared" hesitating before saying it.

They had faces of disappointment and frustration they also felt that pain from Blake suddenly leaving them. The next thing I know is that I hear the sirens of the ambulance rushing towards my battle scared body. The paramedics came in picking and moving me onto the stretcher ready for the hospital. I rolled into the ambulance and the paramedics pulled a mask over my head and inserted sleeping gas and I immediately passed out.
