Chapter 1 Inherent Greed.

I found myself In a pitch black place with a man sitting on a table. As soon as he saw me he hopped off of the table and said, "I am the devil and you are now, whether or not you like it, my protege. You shall from now on be at my whim and call until you reach at minimum, TZ++++. And then you may only refuse a few tasks if you do not wish to die.

I recoiled in shock first off, what was the pluses after TZ and secondly what the hell was happening right now.

The self proclaimed Devil spoke again, "One I am not self proclaimed," the Devil did a 180 degree head turn to look at something??? 4th wall breaking ayooo???

"Two the pluses after TZ mean that the TZ can effect A higher tier world. For example a TY may be able to destroy a universe in a tier 0 world. But that same TY would be a T2 in a tier 1 world. You for example will be forced into a Tier 0 world so I can get more entertainment from you."

The Devil still with his head turned 180 degrees, "three you are being invited to be one of The Company's contractors by yours truly, The Devil."

Well if there's one thing I got from that, it's that powerful beings use capital letters a shit ton. And another thing I got was that FUCK YES I am being invited to THE Company. Some people would refuse this deal and what I have to say to them is very simple. Are you an idiot sandwich?

"Well were do I sign up?" I said oozing with enthusiasm.

The Devil smiled and pointed at the space in front of him which suddenly had a floating contract. I, ever eager, rushed to the contract and read it very slowly.

From top down it read,

The Person who signs this contract will be considered a Contractor by The Company and will, unless explicitly stated, be the protege of the Patron that offers this Contract.

The Contractor will be sent to a world of the Patrons choosing with a world tier of the Patrons choosing. The Contractor will be given credits based on the D.R of the world and will be charged credits if the world tier is higher than 0.

The Contractor may either choose to make a build himself or let his patron do it for him. WARNING YOU MAY NOT DIE BY THE HANDS OF YOUR PATRON UNTIL THEY HAVE REASON TO DO SO. THIS IS NOT ENOUGH REASON TO ONLY PISS OFF YOUR PATRON EXTREMELY.

If The Contractor chooses to build his own build he may buy ANYTHING if he has the credit(s).

And that was all that was written. Almost like someone was too lazy to write multiple paragraphs because he would get TDA flashbacks. I quickly signed my name on it, Ben Kunigle, with the pen provided.

After I had finished reading I felt a cold glare on my back that made me freeze in place.

"So protege which is it? Are you going to make your own build? Or am I?"

The malicious intent from behind made me crumble to the floor. I could tell this was not a question but a demand. He was the DEVIL not some joe smoe. But I could sense it my futile instincts crying out to not accept my fate just yet. My body crushed to the floor somehow within me I could muster up the energy to say, "Lor- Lord Devil I wi- will build my own build please." The air returned to normal and I could breathe again without fear.

The Devil seemingly satisfied nodded. As from the contract the warning section slipped away as it had been just paper on the parchment written presumably by the Devil himself. In its place was a Warning about how choosing your own build was not advised as the patron would most likely kill you.

I sweated profusely and thanked go- no The Company that the Devil was my patron. The Devil suddenly spoke, "Now go on I have already chosen a world for you. But be careful as someone who really hates me sent you a rival contractor to fight with you. If you win your fight in the first world and humiliate him enough I will give you an additional binding of your choice."

And with that I teleported into a room with a computer and The Company's app on it. I sighed and went to see my balance. It was 1590 and I was going to hueco mundo in bleach. I had 0 intensity and power trip challenge as well. So in total 3180 credits along with the Red and White eye orbs. I being a master of Waifu catalog choose wendigo as it was the most powerful heritage because you could reach T10 if you bought all the way up to Great Hunger. But I bought everything in the Wendigo heritage leaving me with 2180 credits

I also bought Added potential Reiastu abd Zanpato. I also bought Ulquiorra and visard as template staking. Leaving me 2110 credits.

I then went to the bindings section, and bout ritual circle, a legacy perk. And I proceeded to buy everything in the binding. Leaving me with 1120 credits.

I then went to a new section of the waifu catalog, the store. But it was locked I needed to buy the Green eye orb first. Snd so I did, now with 1095 credits and a dream for Human Human fruit, model Nikia. A long with a stand arrow. Both in total cost 500 credits 450 from the fruit, 50 from the arrow. Now with 595 credits and another dream. The dream for a fucking house. I bought everything up to grand manner as well as life is a beach, warehouse district, and all roads lead to home. Now I had 350 credits.

My Smile grew as I thought of all tge things I would do. This was inherit human greed. Once you had enough power and control humans could do unspeakable things. But my inherent Greed was on another level. Normal humans would think that mind control is horrible and they'd be right. But if put into a situation like this? Those who would say no… are lying.
