Few (if any) characters have "plot armor". Ethos is a fantasy world, but one that tries to be realistic when possible. The characters are not gods with unlimited powers. Important themes: Chaos, Order, Time, and the 6 Seasons. Chapters will usually be told from the perspective of one of the nine main characters.
