"Your house is here, Clar?" asked Smith.

"You mean? Why did you come here?" replied Clara.

Smith smiled. "You ran away when I followed you, didn't you? So I was also trying to find you. It wasn't hard to find you, Clar," said Smith.

"Who, Clara?" Elen asked from inside, feeling that Clara wouldn't come back after opening the door. Elen is Clara's Mom.

Clara was silent. She also couldn't possibly tell if someone who had followed her was in front of her house.

"Clara?" call Elen.

"Nobody, Mom. Just a prankster."

"Eh, I'm a guest, Clar. How come you call it a fad? That must be your mother, right?" said Smith.

"You're afraid of not being invited. So you just get out of here!" expelled Clara and closed the door.

But the door was blocked by Smith. "I want to explain something, Clar. Please!" Smith pleaded.

"Nothing. You just go now!" Clara then slammed the door shut and locked it. She then headed to the kitchen to continue cooking.

"Who came in earlier, Clar?" asked Ellen.

"What I said earlier, Mom. A prankster," said Clara.

"I don't think so. I smell lying. Don't lie! Tell the truth!"

"That's a friend of mine at school. He was the one who followed me earlier and I accidentally ran to the store through the back door. But he managed to get here. I don't understand either, Mom."

"Oh, that's how it is. Just invite him in! Give him time to explain something. Maybe there is something important. If it's not important, how can it be chasing you to the house," said Elen.

"But, Mom," Clara said sourly.

"No buts! Take him in and tell him to say what he wants to say. Then tell him to leave once you know what he wants to say!" Elen gives advice.

There was another knock on the door. Clara thought it was Smith.

"Don't open it, Mom! It must be Smith," Clara reluctantly opened the door.

"Mom, Clar. Are you guys in there? How come you didn't open the door?" shouted Herman, Clara's father.

"See. You guessed it wrong. That's your father, Clar. Open it!"

Clara immediately opened the door.

"Why did it take so long to open the door?" Herman asked.

"Was there anyone outside, Dad?" asked Clara.

"No. I thought you were leaving. But you can't go without your permission, Clar," Herman said.

Clara then crept to look out of the house to see if Smith was still outside.

Clara didn't see Smith. She then felt relieved and closed the door quietly.

7 p.m. at dinner.

Clara's family is enjoying dinner. Then there were guests and Herman himself who opened the door. Clara was surprised who was the guest tonight.

"Smith!" Clara shouted.

"Good evening, Clar," said Smith.

"Father, why is he here?" asked Clara.

"Last afternoon I saw him sitting on the terrace pensive. Then Dad asked him why he came here. He said he wanted to meet you. So Dad asked him to come home and come back at dinner and eat with us and later can talk to you after eating, "explained Herman.

"Oh my god, Daddy," Clara said.

"Come on, Smith! You eat with us. Don't be shy!"

Smith joins the dinner with Clara's family. Now and then Smith smiled seeing Clara who felt awkward because of her presence and suddenly received an invitation from her father. Whereas previously Clara did not want to talk to Smith.

After dinner, Clara invited Smith to sit on her porch.

"What are you talking about?" asked Clara.

"I want to explain, that I did have a water trauma, Clar. But slowly it disappeared because I continued therapy and worked up the courage to fight the trauma. So yesterday I wasn't lying. It was just a matter of time," explained Smith.

"Why do you explain?''

"I realize you've been angry with me because you feel I lied to you, right? I don't want that to happen. I just want us to have a good relationship. I want us to talk as usual during school," said Smith.

"Already?" asked Clara.

"Yes, I have," replied Smith.

"If you go home now!" expel Clara.

"Oh, you kicked me out?" asked Smith.

"I've given you time to talk. If that's the case then just go home! Why are you here so long? It's getting late too, right?" explained Clara.

"Okay. I won't be here long. But will you forgive me, Clar?" asked Smith.

"I still want to think first," replied Clara.

"I'll go home if you forgive me, Clar. So I'll still be here. Besides, your father invited me here, so your father has the right to ask me to come home, Clar," said Smith.

"But you're here because you're here to see me, right? So if your business is done, please just go home!"

"Have you forgiven me yet?" asked Smith to confirm.

Clara was silent.

"Why are you silent?" asked Smith again.

"It's okay. It's my business to be quiet or talk. You have no right," replied Clara.

Smith smiled faintly. He felt the glass to Clara. He wanted to pinch Clara's cheeks.

Without Clara knowing, Smith gently pinched Clara's cheek.

"What are you doing? It's rude!" snapped Clara.

"You're adorable, Clar. I just wanted to pinch your cheeks. It doesn't hurt, does it?" said Smith.

"But you're being rude," Clara rebuked. "You'd better go home from here! You are an unexpected guest!" throw it back.

But Smith didn't want to leave Clara either.

"No, Clar. I want to be here with you," said Smith.

"You are stubborn, Smith. I said go home!" expel Clara.

Herman then approached his son. "What's this, Clar? Why did you kick him out of here?" he asked.

"He's not polite, Dad!" Clara replied, glaring at Smith.

"Never mind, Clar! Just relax! Don't take it too seriously. Think of him as a visiting guest! So you can relax. Or you can take him to study, he's a smart kid, you can ask him a lot," said Herman.

How do you know that Smith is a smart kid? I just never told Dad. That's how Clara thinks.
