Chapter 23

All our days went by fighting on front lines and practicing our powers. We had alot of matches with one another.

Everyday sena and Max ended up punished for fighting between the teams.

Sena and Max never changed their attitude with each other. They keep hating each other. Every chance they get they start insulting each other.

Lucas helped me working on my spirit power. I finally after two years got control over it. Now I can freely use this power.

Dion was good at handling Sena, He would make her busy with himself and take her attention to other direction every day.

Every day, I was smacked by the old man to remind me not to lose focus and keep training. He lectured me as always in all these years.

Old man and the former emperor started backing off from the front lines. The fight with monsters were close to ending until the neighbouring empire Heart interfered. It made matters worse for us.

It's been four years now, The war with the neighbouring empire has come to end. Today is the final war between us.

Somewhere in the camp.....

From a far knight comes running, " The enemies are at the gate. Get the things ready and leave out of here."

Other knights who were on the camp, " We are leaving for battle but where are the captains?"

The enemies already entered our base. Knights who are on the front started to engage in fight, But the amount of enemies is crushing the rose knights since some knights were still injured and couldn't fight well.

Knights who were injured was standing in the center of the base to provide any kind of help they can, But the enemy came with a large amount of cannon. They started to lose their grounds in fear, But that's what the enemy seems to be thought of.

The knights still held their ground despite being injured and feared.

As the cannon were about to reach them, Suddenly the cannon got freezes, And its direction get changed by the wind spell.

It was Max and Sena who did this, " You should let it drop, It would be finished the moment they reached the ground. Why do you have to send in another way Sena you bi$h."

"Shut up! You Trash, You dare to talk with me, It's my choice what I do and where I send them?"

The knights who were scared start feeling glad that the captains came," We are so glad that they are here with us, Otherwise what would have happened to all of us?"

Knights were relieved to see the captains joining the battle, Until the two of them started to pull each other hairs. The knights started to watch them with the eyes of despair," What's that? What are they doing? It's a war right? Why are they fighting between themselves?"

Hearing the knights says that both Max and Sena starts to shout, " If you people got any problem then just go and fight on your own, Don't wait for us."

"You stop copying me trash, Let go of my hair."

"You are the one who is copying me, You ugly witch, First you let go of my hair."

While the two were busy in fighting Dion comes up and starts to pull them away from each other. All knights starts to see Dion as savior. While the enemy army was confused at the captions actions.

They took the chance and tried to send cannon again but this time the cannon weren't stop but got finished in the air before even reaching the ground.

It was the Fire and Water spell this time, With the Fire spell the cannon got into medium size pieces and were send back to enemy with the spell of water pressure.This time it was Lucas and Fena standing on the wall.

Once more the knights started to see the hope for themselves....

"Did you see? How I did that? Man I want to do again? Let's do one more round."

Lucas who looks at Fena while sighing, " Stop wasting your energy on useless things, save for later! You never know from where they might attack, Don't take them lightly."

Fena who starts laughing while looking at the enemies down, " I Wonder! How much I will get out of them, If I get their treasure. Ah! I can't stop my fingers from moving forward." Fena laughs very loudly while dancing with her hands.

The knight who had seen their hope for the second time, Once again were disappointed," What's with these captains? Is there anyone is normal in captains? Two are fighting with each other, third one is busy with them to stop the fight, Fourth one doesn't give a damn about anything except saving his energy, Fifth one is in her own fantasy? Did she even plan to defeat them? Or I say, Do they even want to win the war?"

Fena who was excitedly dancing with her fingers, " There is no enemy on the back, That can attack me on the ba-"

Fena who was in middle of her talking suddenly gets kicked in the back and flops down on the ground with her face down in mud.

Everyone there dumb founded stand on what happened even the enemy army too?

"What just happened to her?", All knights started talking, "She is suddenly on the ground! She isn't moving at all, Is she dead? There is no way to be safe if she falls down from such a height."

The knights started to push each other, " You go near her and check her, No,No, You Go! ...."

Lucas who was watching Fena lying on the ground with her face downside, " This is why I told her to watch her back, Enemy attack can come from anywhere but she never learns. Does she? Same as always, She is very care-"

Lucas who was standing on the wall also got kicked in the back and flops on the ground with his face down in mud.

Max and Sena who were busy in fighting stops and leaves each other alone.

Max who sees Lucas and Fena lied on the ground with their faces downsides laughs at them, "What is this? What are you guys doing down there? Were you that weak to get attacked in your backs? How pathetic of yo-"

Max who was in the middle of making fun of Lucas and Fena also gets kicked in the back and flops down on the ground same way as Fena and Lucas.

The three were of them lying on the ground in same positions. All the knights looks at them with shocked eyes.

Duke and the former emperor who shows up, Were standing on the wall after kicking the three of them starts talking," Fena you shit! Get up and get back at your position. If you three shows such careless attitude to the enemy. You deserve to be kicked in the back. Now get up you three before I personally come down to make you get up."

After hearing the duke and Former emperor, All the three of them gets up from the ground and takes their positions, While cursing both of the old man.

Fena who starts shouting back at the duke," Old man! You really don't have a soft spot for me in your heart, To kick me down from such a height. What if I had died? Would you have taken responsibility?"

The duke who glares at Fena with a cold look in his eyes, " You are all grown up now, Such height won't kill you easily since you have spirit power, Knowing that I kicked you."

Max and Lucas also started shouting, " Old geezer! Stop kicking us down like this. We are your grandsons and the solo successors of the Emperor and Archduke."

"It's okay, I can find replacements for both, Since you both got younger siblings."

Max gets mad at the former emperor words, " I will seriously kill this old geezer one day."

While the two were arguing with former emperor, Fena leaves them behind and starts moving forward.

Lucas who spots Fena leaving them behind also starts moving, So does the Max. The three start making their moves.

Dion and Sena also start following them. In few minutes the whole army is wiped out by the three of them.

Dion and sena behind them, " They sure are called the monsters on this battlefield."

Dion who looks at the three of them, " Even though they used to call this to Duke and Former Emperor but now they themselves got the title.

I won't be left behind by those three just because these guys are stronger than me.

Max who was fighting alongside with Fena and Lucas starts shouting, " Stop! showing off yours skills to others. I also can land a cool attack."

"Oh! really! Then catch up to us, If you can", Lucas intentionally provokes Max.

And the competition starts between them once again.

The war ends with Rose empire victory and Heart empire backs off while agrees to sign the treaty.

Their four years on border fighting with monsters and enemies army ends here.

The war finally ends with them announcing to go back to their homes. Everyone starts preparing to leave for their homes.

Extra Story Time

Max : "We can finally go back to our home."

Lucas : "Yeah! It's been a long time that we-"

(Uwahhhhhhhhh) Lucas gets interrupted by Fena who was bawling her eyes out.

Lucas : Now! What happened to you?

Fena : Even though we won the war. I couldn't have the treasure. It was supposed to be mine.

whyyyyyy?

Lucas : Do you know how old are we now? That you are bawling your eyes out like a child.

Fena : But I lost my all hard work. My treasure my only love of the life.

Lucas : "Oh! Your only love of life I see! Then I am glad you lost it. You need to move on and find someone new."

Fena : "Right! I might find treasure this time in Bkanchester Estate."

Lucas : "You're hopeless and it's useless to make you understand something."
