The sound of an arrow cutting through the air could be heard. However, it was too fast and the giant cyclops in the middle of the clearing couldn't dodge it. It's body was just too big and not maneuverable. But it was still able to turn its head slightly and barely avoid having its eye pierced.

Yami clicked his tongue. According to Esdeath, the cyclops boss's attacks mainly focused on its eyes. The normal way to avoid that was by hiding behind the rocks and trees scattered around the open field, but one could also damage the eye as well, making the bossfight way easier. The other problem were the monsters that spawned all around the field and forest.

He quickly jumped down from, and hid behind, the tree from which he had shot at the boss.

The boss was a twelve meter tall cyclops with gray skin and one big red eye. Its name was Polyphemus.

(It seemed that even the name of the boss was "inspired" by mythology… But it seems that they mixed other beings in this boss as well. The report stated that it has an attack that can "turn people to stone" with its eye. It's actually just a very bad slowness effect, but after that it would charge at the person it spotted, who would now be unable to do anything but receive the hit. That's also the reason why there are a lot of spots to hide at. That stone thing is obviously inspired by the eyes of the basilisk or the story of medusa.)

Seeing that a few monsters that looked like bears started to get near him, Yami climbed up the tree again and jumped onto the next one. The cyclops was still looking around. It would only attack once it spotted an enemy and look the way it was damaged from.

Of course, normally players would have to fight it with swords and the like and not have bows. Thus Yami had an unfair advantage. However, the boss had another weakness that Yami needed to exploit if he really wanted to deal damage to it. It's neck.

(Cyclops body, basilisk special power and titan weakness. At least the Attack on Titan one. A real Titan like Chronos is on a whole different level and could easily kill me, for now at least.)

He kept track of what the boss could see and when he was in its dead angle. It was way easier since with just one eye, its field of vision was very limited.

"Sind wir das Essen? Nein wir sind die Jäger!"

Yami shot towards the neck of the Cyclops after he had come near it by jumping from tree to tree. He summoned a second sword in hand and slashed at the monster's exposed neck. Since he didn't have a 3DM, he could only jump and couldn't hook unto the boss, thus he had jumped from left to right and slashed at the neck while flying past it.

Normally something like that shouldn't be possible, at least not as easily as Yami did it, but his agility stat and strength stat were leagues beyond any other player. And somehow all of this felt normal, as if he had done it many many times already.

(Could this be a side effect of the passive Skill I got from Mikasa?)

(Should be. Fighting with wings had become so much easier after that as well. But I'm still no match for Mikasa…)

After Mikasa's first time and evolution, Yami had gotten the 3 Dimensional Maneuverability Skill. Just as the name suggests, he is now instinctively better in aerial combat and his senses and combat skill had increased a lot as well. Particularly the skill he had with two swords and his hand to hand combat technique had gotten better as well, even Tsunade couldn't help but praise his skill.

But the bigger change was that after her evolution, Mikasa had gotten a skill as well, or maybe a race change? She now had real wings. Yes, she could now fly with the "Wings of Freedom", one white the other one blue. Both of them had trained with another in aerial combat only relying on their wings and swords, but Yami to her skill every time, but he improved each time as well.

Luckily Yami's brain was honed to watch out for several things simultaneously even without the Perfect Brain skill, thanks to the HELLISH blacksmithing system. Even as his thought had wandered a bit once again, he was able to dodge the gigantic hand that had tried to grab him.

The boss had seen him since Yami couldn't do anything about it if he was still in mid air after his own attack. Luckily, once again, the "turning to stone" skill was an attack and not an automatic effect, otherwise it would just be too OP. And the cyclops needed to look into the players eyes, just like a basilisk.

Yami had landed on the ground again, but the boss already had him in his eye. Its other hand formed a fist and it smashed down on Yami. He threw himself to his right and rolled around the floor while the cyclops now tried to stomp him with its foot.

Yami used his hands and pushed himself off the ground, making a flip and landing on his feet again. He had unsummoned his swords the moment he was hit since they would get in the way.

He quickly took out his bow again and shot at the eye of the cyclops. But the giant monster shielded its eye with one hand. It was now impossible to attack the eye. While the boss was busy blocking the arrow, Yami had already hid himself behind a rock again.

However, one of the bear-like monsters was right next to it and swung its claws at Yami.

In response, Yami grabbed the arm of the bear with his left hand and used his right elbow to two hit the stomach, throat and face of the beast. While it was stunned, Yami already had a dagger in hand and stabbed it into the bear's face.

He turned around and jumped to the nearest tree before the beast even hit the ground and exploded into blue particles.

Yami ran to the next tree, which was near the boss. Within seconds, he arrived there and climbed up. The boss's neck was only two meters away from him. He flexed his muscles and got into a jumping position with two swords in hand.

The wood under his feet cracked as he pushed himself off. This time he was right behind the giant and stabbed both his blades into the grey "flesh" instead of slashing it like previously. While stabilizing himself with the left sword, Yami pulled out the right one and activated a sword skill with it, quickly slashing at the neck another five times, creating a pentagon.

Before the incoming hand could grab him, he pushed himself off of the monster's upper body and landed with a roll negating the momentum, before disappearing behind another tree before the cyclops could spot him.

Now the cyclops was enraged, it looked around warily, but it also kept its left hand in front of its eye to be prepared for any other arrow attacks, making its field of vision even smaller.

Meanwhile Yami had killed another three bears that wanted to attack him. But by using swords and daggers mixed with martial arts and hard trained hand-to-hand combat, Yami was easily able to defeat several opponents at once.

He saw a new monster, a black wolf jump at him, but Yami took a step to the side, dodging with minimal effort and maximal precision, before using an axe to one-hit the wolf by slamming it right into its head.

Yami's fighting style was very versatile and unpredictable since he not only used several different weapons according to the situation. He used the rest of his body as well. And he could even easily take out new weapons with the help of Eve doing the selection and stuff for him. Fighting with two different weapons at the same time was possible as well, but Yami still needed to train in that. Especially if it was something as unbalanced as an axe in one hand and a dagger in the other.

He shot another arrow aiming for the eye, but as he had expected, it was useless. However, the cyclops started to run towards the direction from which the arrow came from.

But Yami had used the seconds in which the cyclops had fully covered his eye to change positions again and lay in wait on the tree that the boss would pass through while charging at the tree he shot the arrow from.

While God was making fun of Levi, Yami followed the example of humanity's strongest beyblade with two swords and slashed at the "titan's" weak spot once again.

This time the boss managed to spot the still spinning attacker after Yami had cut him and reached out for him while he was still mid air, but Yami twisted his body, dodging the suddenly fast fist. He didn't know why it's arm was suddenly faster, but because it was now right next to him, he quickly stabbed his left sword into the arm. The blade practically split the arm open, but there was no blood of course, just the normal red markings of a slash. After slicing almost half the arm, Yami's momentum had finally stopped, but he used this as an opportunity as well; he jumped onto the arm.

Although the arm wasn't that big, Yami managed to stay on it for the moment, but the cyclops reacted fast, it shielded it's eye completely with its left hand while frantically lowering the right arm which Yami ran along currently. Because his footing was about to be gone, Yami jumped off the almost diagonal arm and managed to land and on the shoulder. Since the eye was impossible to attack, he just activated a sword skill and slashed everywhere, especially the shoulder to slow down the movement of the given arm. If the shoulder was damaged, it was harder to attack with the arm attached to it, but he didn't know whether that would apply to the boss as well. There had been a lot of strange things that worked and didn't work in the SAO world, and it was worth a try.

From the corner of his eye he could see that the cyclops raised his right arm again, trying to squash him while he was on its shoulder

Yami switched to two great swords since that would do the most damage and rammed both of them into the boss's neck. Then he took out two swords and practically "rolled" along the neck of the monster, holding himself up with the one sword while using the other sword to stab another part to his left, then he just let go of the other sword and stabbed another into the neck. Now there was a neat line of swords and great swords in the neck, which Yami had used as if they were climbing hooks.

Now Yami was on the left shoulder of the cyclops. The arm was once again coming towards him, but he just summoned another two swords, activated a sword skill and jumped onto the hilts stuck in the neck of the monster, slashing at it without break.

Just like the golem that the demi-humans had fought, the weak spot of the boss did a lot of damage since it wasn't supposed to be reached easily. Actually, the boss was pretty similar to the mentioned golem. A party needed to attack the feet enough, retreat and repeat while hiding behind the trees and rocks to avoid the special ability of the eye. Once the legs were damaged enough, it would fall to the ground, cover its eye and then the group would all have to attack the neck as much as possible. After that everything would repeat itself, just like any other boss fight.

Now with the almighty power of the beat, Yami slashed at the neck until the hand of the monster had almost reached him. He made a backflip and stabbed another great sword into the body of the boss. After that he proceeded to imitate Levi's while simultaneously making the boss into a pin cushion. He was jumping or rather, swinging all around the 10 meter tall body and stabbed many kinds of weapons everywhere he hung at the moment.

The demi-humans had worked hard these days to bring him the best weapons available. And now he was using them as nothing more than poles to swing around with.

But if they saw him do it, they would only marvel at how cool their lord looked as he completely obliterated the "titan" by attacking it all around its body with high speed.

The scene looked a bit like rage Levi after he saw his friends death, but with less blood, sadness

and not as dynamic since Yami didn't have 3-D gear.

He cyclops let out a scream and tried everything to get rid of the fidget spinner that was stabbing and cutting him up all around. But he wasn't able to.

The health of the boss was falling with each second. Since now there were things to grab onto or even stand on all over the body, Yami could jump all around and focus on annihilating the boss.

This is the moment for war! 𝆕𝆕

Suddenly, Yami felt danger approaching him, but it was already too late. He prepared for impact and a second later a big hand slammed into him, sending him flying.

(Shit, that's a lot of damage!)

The strongest point of this monster was obviously its attack prowess.

Yami flew through the air, but wasn't able to do much about his position before crashing into a near rock. The air was pushed out of his lungs and he bent forward a bit. But that was why he had trained to withstand pain. He struggled to his feet since he was still feeling a bit dizzy, but didn't have much time since the cyclops was already rushing at him.

Yami was able to put a shield in front of his body, but he didn't have time to dodge or anything like that. A big and strong fist flew right at him, smashing into the shield.

He was squished between the fist and the rock behind himself. His arms were trembling as they had to take on the power of a boss, the shield was a big help since otherwise he would just have been squashed, but it was still way too much power he had to withstand. But he clenched his teeth and endured.

The rock behind him started to crack under the extreme force. The cracks grew wider and wider as Yami was almost at his limit. His true power was sealed after all, just the fact that he could block a direct confrontation of strength against a boss focused on that field was a miracle.

The rock behind him shattered and Yami was flung back by the built up force.

But he was very thankful for that since if this had continued he wasn't very confident in keeping the resistance up. His health had already gone down by a lot, he was at the start of the red zone. Even with his high level, the boss would do a lot of damage, of course, it was designed to one of two hit players if it hit them perfectly.

Yami took a look at the cyclops since he still didn't know how he was hit since he had kept track of the right arm all the time to avoid such a situation.

And he found it; the left arm. The boss seemed to have abandoned its defense and was now attacking with both the right and the left arm.

"𝆕This is the moment for war!𝆕"

A smirk formed on his face as he saw this and it widened as he looked at the red health bar of the boss.

"*Crack*"

Yami cracked his neck as he lifted himself up, with two new swords in hand. They were the one he got from the wolf on the first floor and the one he got from the deer mini-boss.

"It's showtime."

He ran towards the cyclops with the naruto-run and the two swords on each side behind himself. The boss raised it's right foot in response and tried to stomp him. He twisted his body and dodged the deadly attack. His motions were smooth as if he was dancing. Yami stabbed one of his two swords into the leg that almost stomped him. Then he used his left sword to stab the location above him and pulled out his right sword, pulled himself up and stabbed the right sword above himself once again and pulled himself up once again. He was practically climbing a titan like a mountain climber..

The boss of course wouldn't just stand by and let him do as he pleased, it raised its led and stomped down, trying to shake him off, but Yami didn't fall but even continued what he was doing without giving a damn about the shaking and movement of the leg.

Seeing that it was ineffective, the cyclops tried to grab onto the figure that was already near the end of its leg, however, due to its big frame, it had to bend forward a bit.

This was the moment Yami had been waiting for, he materialized a two handed greatsword and stabbed it into the leg and let go of the normal sword in his left hand which dissipated. Next he grabbed onto the handle with both his hands and used the perfect control he had over his body to start swinging, after just one swing, he had enough momentum to make a whole 360° swing around the sword as if he was swinging on a turner bar.

Just before the boss's hand could reach Yami, he let go of the handle and with the built up momentum he launched himself into the sky, high above the boss.

The cyclops turned his head upwards to follow its attackers movements.

Seeing that the attacker was shooting towards its eye with high velocity, it activated its unique skill to "turn the attack to stone". However, due to the bright light of the sword skill it couldn't see if it worked, and a moment later, it couldn't see anything anymore.

"And so the curtains fall, together with you!"

Yami shot at the eye of the boss with two blades, one white the other one black, imbued with a Sword Skill. Thanks to his high perception and because he could already guess what the boss was going to do, he shut his eyes. Thanks to his training, his senses and instincts were good enough to even fight without looking, just falling downwards with closed eyes wasn't a problem.

The eye was the greatest weakness of the boss, but it was practically impossible to attack it since normally it would require an insane amount of effort to attack the eye. The boss was designed so that the raid would first have to get the boss into the red health zone before they could attack the eye.

Yami stood atop the head of the boss, as it's eye and body started to explode into blue shards.

For one moment he looked like one of these cartoon figures who stood in the air.

The next moment Yami fell to the ground, but different from the poor coyote, Yami was easily able to lighten his fall by making a roll.

After that Yami looked at the loot he got from the boss. It was a big lot of Xp, money and a very strong spear. The Xp and money were probably that much since only he had participated in the fighting and the system didn't know how to calculate it since something like this never happened and never should have happened.

Yami took out a healing potion crystal and used it, he was still on low HP and who knows what might happen. After that another happy message came from Eve.

He smiled. Although he wasn't slacking off at all, the other girls were already at around level 97, leaving him behind a bit. Of course he was happy about that since they benefited more from leveling up since their overall strength rose with every level.

These weapons are able to grow alongside their wielders. I think it would be a good gift. Although they would be happy about anything they receive from you.}

Somehow Yami shivered a bit, thinking of the two part time yanderes talking with another. He didn't know how that was going to be when the psychos from E-class were to meet Eve. But he believed in the prowess of his wife. If she successfully "negotiated" with and "convinced" abridged Asuna, he was sure that he could leave it to his dutiful housewife to make sure the psycho-girls "understand and accept" the idea of a harem.

He had sat down on the floor. After that fight he was a bit spent. He had to concentrate fully not to be hit and fighting as if you had a 3D gear, while not having one was very taxing. He really missed his wings.

After that he picked up all the weapons again and prepared to leave. But at that moment he saw two bears and several wolves coming at him, no, they were chasing after someone running towards him.

This person was as big as a child, had a cute white dress, big eyes and an adorable face. And she was running right at him. As she spotted Yami, the girl's face suddenly turned happy, even though there still were monsters coming right after her. Her raised her hand and shouted with an adorable voice:
