Big Trouble 1
Yae Miko hurried back to Tenshukaku while carrying the unconscious Shinobu. She deduced that Makoto should be back by now after her visit to the Yashiro Commissioner's estate.
When the Guuji arrived, she felt that the palace seemed empty without the two rulers of Inazuma. She simply ignored the guards and went to the upper floors to find the twin.

"Anyone there?" Yae knocked at the Puppet Shogun's former residence before entering inside.
"Welcom- You look alarmed, Yae. What's wrong?" Makoto asked, along with other faces the kitsune didn't expect to meet here.
"Little Miko, what's the problem?" Orihime added.
"Excuse our unannounced stay, Lady Guuji." Ayaka smiled.
"A pleasant evening to you, Chief Priestess." Kokomi smiled brighter.

"What a unique group... Anyway, check her condition first, Kokomi." She threw the unconscious Shinobu first, as a priority.
"Wha! Kuki? What happened to her?!" The surprised divine priestess inquired.
"It's a long story so let's save it for another time. I did what I can to heal her, but this isn't my expertise so I'll leave it to you."
"Makoto, Great Kitsune, Ei needs your help. It's an emergency." Yae quickly said.
"Alright, lead the way." Makoto accepted without questions, while Orihime simply nodded.
"Then, we'll take our leave everyone. Let us continue this in another time. Kokomi and I will bring Kuki to the Kamisato Estate for immediate healing." Ayaka informed.
"You two should stay for tonight, Ayaka dear. It would be wise to wait for Lu to come back instead. I'm sure Ayato would understand." Makoto suggested with a cheerful smile. Though it's more of an order than a suggestion...
"We understand, your Majesty. Do be careful." Kokomi accepted on the princess' behalf happily.

Yae Miko and Makoto swiftly left after reaching an understanding with the two. Orihime then followed them, but not after a heavy sigh and feeling bad for Lu...

Raiden Lu made his way home in a good mood. Everyday just kept getting better for him as he solved one problem after another.
Focused on his next plans regarding the visit to the freezing land. He decided on roaming Tenshukaku on foot until he arrived at their private quarters.
"I feel like I'm forgetting something important..." The deity murmured.
"That's right!... 𝘏𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰, 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰~. 𝘚𝘩𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘯, 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘰𝘱𝘺 𝘮𝘦?" He called out, through their link.

"𝘕𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘳... 𝘢𝘴 𝘶𝘴𝘶𝘢𝘭." Lu thought... He was then disturbed by a sound of rumbling coming from above.
"Is Ei throwing a tantrum again?" He joked.

A few minutes only passed after he finished his stroll, and arrived in front of the noisy room. Not having any shame, the deity simply entered it since only two people could do something like this.
Or so he thought...

"Don't move, Kuki~. Your body is still healing." Kokomi cheerfully chuckled.
"You freaks! You two only want to stay here longer." The weakened Kuki shouted in defiance.
"Now, don't say that. Lady Makoto gave us her permission so we should just enjoy- cherish it." Ayaka added.
"Release me!" Shinobu, who was sandwiched between the two in the bed, retaliated. But the effect of the medicine made her too weak to succeed.
"Oh my archon..." Lu said aloud as he was blessed by the wonderful scene.
" " Lu!!! " " Kokomi and Ayaka shrieked.
"Yes yes~. Lu here." He deadpanned.
"You're finally back, you goddamn bastard." Kuki harrumphed.
"Woah! Language, my dear secretary." The deity smirked.
"What's wrong?" That was all he said. And was all he needed to ask...

The three explained the situation. Though it was mostly Kuki, since she was there. She even said some stuff she hasn't told anyone yet.
"I see... So you asked Shuten to turn you into an oni. The others misunderstood what happened so they're hunting Ibuk- the oni chieftain now..." He summarized.
"Why would you do that?" The bewildered Ayaka, asked.
"Why not?" She simply replied.
"But it seemed like it didn't work, did it? You don't have any horns, or any sign of being an oni at least." Kokomi reasoned.
"It worked." Kuki confidently said, as she felt her power far beyond what she had before.
"Indeed, but it was made to look like it did not. She would not be so careless as to do something idiotic. My dear secretary is really famous, so why would she do that?" Lu explained.
"Anyway, I'll be going after them now. You should rest more, Kuki." He patted the hornless oni, which instigated envy from the two ladies.
"And you two... Relaxing is good, but be careful alright?" The deity merely said as he gave them the same treatment as well.
Raiden Lu promised to keep what he saw a secret until his death...

The ground in Kannazuka trembled as two opposing forces fought each other without a break. Two onis clashed, a huge dark skinned one, and the former Great Oni, Mikoshi Chiyo.
"Aren'tcha something else? I can't believe he'd been leaving me out of this fun amusements." The four-horned oni laughed in glee. No hostility at all.
"Interesting..." Chiyo merely said, before deciding to take this fight a bit more serious.

"Is this really fine, Ei?" Makoto worriedly asked.
"That Yokai is humongous. She should be at least ten meters tall..." Yae commented.
"What are you on, Little Yae? Your fox form should be fatter than that by now~." Orihime teased.
"How rude can you be, mentor!" The Guuji berated.
"No problem at all, Makoto. I had my time with her overnight, and I sensed not a single bad intent from her... Plus, husband is already nearby. We should wait for him to explain." Ei answered, while caressing the ring on her finger.
"... You're right. I have my own hypothesis for this event, anyway~." Her lively sister said.
"Mind sharing?"
"Nope~. We should wait for Lu, like you said." Makoto replied with a grin.
"When did you get so cheeky? You better not be learning this from him..." The Kitsune Saiguu sighed heavily.

"You've finally shown yourself, Taikoubou. You're late~. Like really, really late~." The huge oni cheered while looking at the sky.
She was about to unleash her pets for a better battle when he suddenly appeared... At least they didn't have to wait longer.

Raiden Lu slowly descended to the ground with a wry smile, as everyone in the venue merely stared at him.
".....Yo?..." His greeting turned into a question, completely confused at the situation.
"𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦..." Lu said in his mind.
