Flower and Vase

Four hundred years ago, a war had occured among the citizens of the Ring of Fire. A lot of people died and perished. But that wasn't all there is to it. Nobody knew how it started or when it started, but they believe it was not all due to human intervention. Since the beginning of time, dents from the spiritual realm were already formed. Those of the unknown have already started roaming the earth. Some causing good but some causing havoc and malice among the people. Everyone could sense them which made the people at peace. Spiritual leaders from all over the land have always kept them at bay. Always making sure of the balance between mortal and spirit. They always were in communication for them to be aided with what's best for all. But when the Great War started, the spiritual leaders started using their ability against each other to save their own kind.

After thirty years of war, there was one man, a man of no name, who stopped all this. The people called him Paladin. He condemned all the spiritual abilities of man, closing all sixth senses at once. The war slowly died down now that the spirits could not aide them in the battle. The Great War of the Ring of Fire finally ceased.

A hundred years later after the Great War, a woman named Ssaiah gave birth to triplets, three healthy baby boys. She named them Dominic, Remus and Minos. The boys were very athletic and strong. Dominic was very good at painting, Remus was very good at handling plants and animals, and Minos was a genius in philosophy. Despite their differences, Ssaiah noticed one common skill her sons had and it was MUSIC. The three would often play together with their handmade instruments. Dominic at the lyre, Remus with a flute and Minos with a lithophone. Ssaiah would enjoy listening to her children play, she was very proud of how her boys have grown up to be smart and responsible individuals.

But one night after supper, Ssaiah found Remus at their courtyard facing a tree. He looked like he was talking. She quickly called for Dominic and Minos to inquire of their brother's actions. Minos, the youngest of the three simply laughed at their mother's inquiry.

"Don't worry mum, Remus is just talking to his lover."

Dominic saw panic in his mother's eyes and requested that they talk in private. He called Remus in and they huddled up at the fireplace.

Ssaiah started talking about the Great War and what people said about it. She explained how things were a hundred years ago just before the Paladin saved them all. The boys listened attentively to their mother as they saw her grief from all that has happened. She told them that when she was a girl, her father would remind her not to wander into the unknown.

Dominic then explained that ever since they've learned of music, they've started to see things, hear things and dream of things that they could not explain. Ssaiah knew what was happening. She begged the three not to let anybody else know of their secret. She warned them of the risks that could happen once the people knew what they have.

The boys understood what their mum meant and agreed not to tell anyone, for they know that even with their abilities, it could start another Great War.

Sadly, they were not able to contain it.
