Some old faces

Kairos was a little disappointed but also he was excited to see the faces of the summoned heroes after a long time. He went inside his room with the Epad and swiped through the database of the three people he was assigned to kill. It was those three punks who made his life miserable back on earth.

So, Yulia is a magician, her class is already S-90. Almost on her way to achieve level 100. Her talent in magic attribute is fire. It really fits her personality. She's the most aggressive among the gang. And she's a healer too. That doesn't fit her at all. She's a person who likes to harm more than to heal one's body. 

The second one is Lev. He's a good swordsman and a hand-to-hand combat warrior level S-91. Good at adapting to any situation and he's currently engaged with the princess.

Wait what? Engaged? That pervert is messing with the princess now? I bet he f*** around the castle by thinking of himself as a king just because he is an otaku. His knowledge of anime must be very useful to him now.

And the tried one is Max. An all-rounder at both magic and swordsman. He is a level SS-93 with good regeneration skills.

Hm? That's it?

He scrolled down but didn't find any intel about him.

"Well, that's true because he's the quietest one in the gang and yet the most dangerous one in the entire school. I heard some rumours when we were in the first year. I heard that he killed his father and buried him in the show. Months later, the villagers discovered the dead body mummified in the cold when they were making a hole in the ice to catch fish in the deep lake. But no one suspected him as a murderer because he already filed a report of his missing father. 

I don't know how much of the story is true, but his skills don't lie. I can clearly see the murderer's eyes in his skull. He's really the culprit…

But, isn't this a hell of a coincidence? I got reincarnated and they got summoned at the same time with a death tag on our hearts. It's a game like do or die, kill or be killed. So, in the end, one of us is going to die anyway or the 6-horn devil will take our souls by himself.

So? Why should I be the one to die? I already died a dog's death once now it's your turn you crazy basterds. Your piggy ride is back for revenge.

Kairos looked outside and saw the floating screens boasting the faces of three heroes to the nation.

All these times after their summon, they were forbidden to use any type of social app because the king forbid it. So, they thought that advanced technology didn't exist in this era. Hence they spend their time playing chess and training like hell.

I bet they killed so many already for not introducing those things. I feel bad for those people already.

"They look really good with those outfits.", he stared at those floating billboards around the huge buildings. 

A few days later, the academy became filled with students and visitors from all over the kingdom. They were gathering to celebrate the new heroes upcoming exam. The nation was so pleased to hear that the heroes were attending the academy to learn more about the new world.

"This will be problematic."

Kairos was standing in the middle of the crowd with Irosa barely holding to their grip.

"What is the problem, owner?"

"If we kill those three, the whole nation will come after us."

Irosa looked above and saw the three heroes were live broadcasting about their life back on earth. "They are from the earth, right? The one we used to live in?" 

"Yes."

     But the thing is, our exam is in 20 minutes. But why are they holding the gates? We have to get inside. Tsk!! Those damn three mud heads are busy babbling about themselves.

Suddenly, a loud siren rang and the gate opened. But only students were allowed to enter, so the guards were chasing all the visitors away from the academy premises.

"Hah! At last."

In the academy, there's no class deviation between mages and swordsmen. But the ranking class exists. There are 3 ranks in classes.

Rank 1 provides the best of the best students with top-class advantages.

Rank 2 is for normal students who have average standards and average talent. 

And rank 3 is for those who barely passed the exam with 30% number. Most of them graduate with a C + score and they are able to apply for 2nd class jobs which helps them to get a good job. But they aren't qualified to become adventurers.

And the most interesting part is, class promotion and demotion of a student. Which means that a student can be promoted to upper-rank classes if he gets good results per semester. Also, a student can get a demotion if they don't have enough marks to hold their position.

   I don't think those punks can even score 30 in their exam. But the king will bribe the headmaster to keep them in Rank 1 class.

But it's really funny, because I'm starting school all over again with the people who hated me. Now, I'm in charge of killing because of a death tag hanging with my heart.

Now that I think about it, they say that the king summoned them straight from the earth. They weren't murdered to reincarnate their souls in this world. Unlike me who was thrown off the cliff with all my sheep. Good thing that I look a little different than I used to look. This will give me a great advantage to get closer to them. But, this will take a long time… A very long time.

"Irosa, don't fail in the exam."

"I'm not an idiot, owner. I will get inside the ran 1 class easily. But it will be harder for you."

"I know. But they can't stop me from raising my level and climbing up to rank 1 class. I am just hiding my powers."

Let's get going then. I have a long way to go. Because there's no time limitation to my second task.
