Chapter 108: I want a grandchild.

Alyssa walked hajd in hand with Calcel and after having their lunch Calcel had to go back to the company.

" Don't leave work to see me again. Okay. " She said looking up at him and holding both his hands in hers.

" I was worried that you might escape and ru. away. So , I have to keep on checking on you. " He said.

" I won't run. And don't keep coming here, They might suspect you. " Alyssa gasped.

Calcel bent to her and pressed a soft kiss on her lips.

" leave all that to me. I am leaving. " He said and she released him.

" Okay, See you later. " Alyssa smiled.

Calcel smiled back and turned to go. He left the room while Alyssa watched him until he exited through the door.

Alyssa sighed and sat on the bed. She was very happy that at last she was with a man she loved wholeheartedly. She touched her stomach with a smile and said.

" My baby , I am so happy that your father cares about us. I don't know how long this will take but I am going to try my best to protect you "

She was talking when the doctor who had worked on her entered.

" Hii...Alyssa. How are you doing ? " He asked.

" I am now doing well. " She smiled at him.

" Calcel told me you will be staying here with us so we organized for you another room. " The doctor said.

" Really ? " She couldn't believe.

" Yeah. This patient's room is uncomfortable. You will need somewhere and I have assigned a maid to help you. " The doctor said.

" Thanks but I don't need a maid. I will loving alone so ....it will be better. " She said.

" Okay, Tell me if you need anything. I will send someone to take you to your room. Get prepared. " He said.

" Okay. Thanks again. "

That evening, David who had had an appointment returned to find Juliana and Cynthia home.

They had visited

" Mr David.." Cynthia said on seeing him and hot up to open her arms for her.

David gave her a hug and when they parted he looked down to Juliana who was seated looking at him.He ignored her and went to sit down. Juliana felt daggers inside her.

" So I came to check on my daughter and I asked Juliana to come with me. " Cynthia spoke knowing that David didn't like Juliana's presence.

" That is so good. You are both always welcome in my house. " David said.

" Father , Thanks for that. " May added.

" Well , Did they give you drinks ? " Asked David.

" They drunk already. I asked the maids to prepare dinner so that we have dinner together as a family. " May said.

" That is a good idea.." David turned to look at Juliana.

" I thought you went back to the states already ? " He asked.

Juliana gave a crooked smile. " I will leaving very soon. By the way I heard that you sent Alyssa to the states. "

" Yeah. I set her free. " David answered.

" I am wondering why you sent her out of the country. We all know it was a contract marriage but she could stay as long as she wanted. " Cynthia asked.

" Alyssa is just a young girl only twenty three years. I couldn't keep her tied in this house. " He said.

" I still wonder why you chose a young girl for a wife like couldn't you find an older woman? " Cynthia asked as May and Juliana did the listening.

" She was suitable. Why are we talking about someone who left already ? " David asked and looked at May. " We have our beautiful daughter here. May....don't you think we should discuss something else ? "

" Of course father. " She agreed.

They were still like that when Calcel returned. He found all if rhem unexpectedly.

" Madam Cynthia, Mom....good evening. " He said to them with a bow.

May got up and walked to him. She twined her arm in his and smiled at him but he gave her a frown.

" My husband is back. Let's go for dinner now. " She said.

" Sure. " He said and they lef the way to the dinning table.

They all begun eating while they chatted but Calcel was all along silent.May kept on praising him as she told them of what a good husband he is.

After dinner , They all went to see Cynthia and Juliana off. Immediately after they had gone David said he wanted to talk to both May and Calcel. The two went to his study room.

David looked at both of them.

" Father, What is it that you want to talk about ? " Calcel asked.

" Where were you the whole night ? " David yelled at him showing his anger amd disappointment.

Calcel bit his lower lip not knowing how to start answering that.

" Hurry up and answer ? " He shouted.

" I was at a friend's place. " He said.

" What stopped you from coming back home ? " He asked him.

May kept silent

" I just didn't feel like coming back home. " He looked down as he said this.

" Don't tell me those excuses. I don't want to hear May complain to me again that you didn't return home. Give zmyour wife timd you get it ? " David yelled.

Calcel faced May and then David.

" I will try. " He said.

" I don't want anything like trying. It's a command. " David emphasized.

Calcel heaved a heavy breath. " Okay Father. I will do as you please. " He said.

" May, If anything happens tell me. Don't hide for him anything. " David said to her.

" Father, I will do as you wish. " She said.

" Fine , You can all go. " He said and both got up but before they could say something David stopped them again.

" I want a grand child as soon as possible. Let me hope to get good news very soon. " David declared shocking them and he left them in that shock.

" A grandchild ? " Calcel chuckled.

May smiled when looked at him.

" Father is right. We should give him a grand child. " She squealed.

" Not from you ! " Calcel declared to her and walked away.

" Not from me ? " " What does he try to say...."

Calcel reached in his room and had a shower. He was in the bathroom when May came to the room and sat on the bed.

" I must do something about this. " She said to herself.
