Synopsis

“It is not, if it is not, Yet the universe will, without doubt, find a place for it. For the universe is the single entity…yearning for equilibrium.” The discovery of the diary of a certain missing cardinal on an unassuming corner of the church was the fuse that started Ayre’s chaotic life as he began discovering mysteries within mysteries that seemed to contain a portion of the universe’s secrets. A supposedly simple letter shuffling triggered the curiosity of an unknown organization which was also connected to a heinous murder committed unsurprisingly by a notorious murderer that started the undercurrents of a place oceans away. Alas, as time went by, like a plague, these seemingly small events insignificant to the bigger picture of a universe would spread and eventually, like a set of dominoes, all would fall in place. Ayre, although a deviant, still had to pretend to be the careless-careful executive director of the foreign affairs department of his hometown, Crotton City while also worrying about these issues that were comparable to nothing but a ticking time bomb. Although it may not be his wish, he was precisely, not in the eye, but the eye of the storm itself.

Queen for All

She was a Queen to all, but to him — one of the biggest annoyances, hindrances, curiosities and saviors — she was merely a girl. He was a selfish tyrant to all, but to her — one of the biggest nuisances, hindrances, amusements and saviors — he was merely a boy. The boy leaned back against the worn stone wall, a wistful smile playing on his lips as he regarded her with fondness. "Ours wouldn't be a romance which would go down in history books," he remarked with a playful tsk. The girl laughed, the sound echoing off the cold stone walls of the hidden alcove. "What will they even write?" she teased. "Once upon a time — there was a kitchen slave who stole flowers as a side job." "And then, a madwoman found her amusing and decided to make a queen out of her!" the boy added with a chuckle. "Nobody would read it," the girl snorted, shaking her head. "I mean, she went to a magical school! She has no magic! And she lives to tell the tale?! Literally sounds like I made it up on the spot!" The boy nodded in agreement, a nostalgic gleam in his eyes. "Oh, oh, remember the time Grace killed you?" he asked, a mischievous grin quirking his lips. The girl shuddered at the memory, "Ugh, I still get shivers down my spine when I think about it." "We used to fight so much. I think my favourite was when I was spying on you and you were spying on me but we were pretending to be in love?" the boy cackled. "Oh the horror! I was in such a mess— and, well, I wouldn't call it fight; I'd rather call it banter," The girl countered with a smirk. "You were too egoistic and I couldn't stand you!" The boy chuckled, a warm sound that filled the small alcove. "Pity, my kisses got you stuck with me for life now," he teased. "What life," the girl snorted, rolling her eyes in mock exasperation. But beneath her playful facade, there was a hint of affection, a silent acknowledgment of the bond that had formed, "We're already dead." And that's how their first life segwayed into a second chance. Will they achieve a happily-ever-after this time?

Elaine's Story ;

To my Maya, I am so happy that you are growing so fast. You see, I could no longer carry you for so long as you are starting to get heavy. Counting days, in few more months you'll start walking. I want you to know that mommy and daddy can't wait. Mommy wants you to be free like your name, Malaya; take time to wander around each and every corner of the house. And feel the happiness of being able to go wherever you wish to. Baby, I want you to know how blessed  we are to have you. You are worth than anything else God has given me. The greatest prayer God has ever granted. Maya, grow embracing God's words. Have faith in Him, and He will always be by your side guiding and protecting you wherever you go. He is Love, He is Light, and He is everything, Maya. Time comes that whenever you feel lost, keep His words in your heart and soul. "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  Jeremiah 29:11 You are asleep right now. Perfect time for mommy to write. Before I finally decided to hold this pen and started writing, I've been staring at you quite sometime. Maya, you almost look like your daddy if not becuase of your hair and lips that you got from me. I thought you might ask this someday, "How did you and daddy met?" I found an old journal which still has no entries, hence I am writing our story ahead of you. For a brief answer, it was fate that brought us together. I thought I might bore you, but keep reading honey, you'll unfold things soon. I'm sharing you everything about me and daddy, so when you grow up as young lady, never keep secret from me, okay? I promise that mommy will always have her ears for you. Anyway, I'm hoping that you might like it our story. I love you. -Mom
