"Do you think.... she'll finally get to rest..and be happy for eternity?"
YiMing sat on the bench with an uncertain smile on her face. she was looking at the couple ahead who were both in hospital uniforms as they fed themselves at a bench far away.
The Grim reaper looked at her. "How am supposed to know? I only send them off...I don't follow them. Besides, it's her choice to decide if she'll be happy, The dead should have nothing to do with the living, so you should forget her" He said plainly.
YiMing looked up at him as he met her gaze. Her eyes were red and heavy with tears. She was doing a good job holding them in.
"Why can't you ever say something nice? Do you always have to be mean?" She asked.
"I said the truth. And the Truth hurts if you can't accept it. Then keep lying to yourself and don't ask me" He said
"Like I even wanted to ask you. It'd be a blessing if I can't be able to see you as Well" She said as she got up to her feet and walked away from him.
He Turned watching her leaves as he sighed " A great flaw of humans .. never wanting to accept the reality and truth. Pathetic" He said as he looked at his stopwatch in his hands. He looked up at her running off again.
"Like I even want to see you... I'd be glad if we never met again, Then maybe I'll live peacefully" He said as he disappeared.
YiMing ran away from the spot and stopped as she entered the hospital. She slowly and almost lifelessly walked to her room.
She wasn't herself, she wasn't even thinking straight as she moved. Her eyes didn't go in any specific directions as she walked through.
Her mind was on NaYin. She couldn't help but think about her and see her as she passed by.
She could recall the first she smiled at her promising to protect her from anyone who had hurt her.
She had remembered the time she was scolded and chased out of her house by her aunt. It was NaYin who took her into her room for a week and made her feel at home.
It was no exaggeration that NaYin was her shelter, her comfort. The only friend she had in her life...
The thought that she was gone tore YiMing apart.
She finally arrived at her hospital room she staggered her way in and took a seat on the bed. She looked to her right where the letter was.
A teardrop fell down her eyes again. And it was then she realized. She was crying.
No...She couldn't. YiMing told herself as she wiped off her eyes with a hand. She couldn't cry. At least not for NaYin.
She knew if NaYin saw her crying, she would feel even worse. And she didn't want that. She had to smile. And that was what she did.
Slowly, she forced a smile onto her lips as she slowly took the paper and went through the letter a thousand times. She couldn't get enough reading, she couldn't stop. Because it made her feel like she was nearby...In the letter.
The smile on YiMing's depicted sadness. And that was it.
Ever since she was young, YiMing could say that she had never cried. She had never cried like the others, pouring out her heart in tears ..she didn't.
Even when her parents had passed out, she sat there in the burial room looking at their portrait with a plain expression on her face.
Perhaps this was her nature, maybe something that came with her abilities? She didn't know. But she knew she didn't cry. And she had a beard all the sorrows in her heart, heavy in there.
Building up the tears into her heart and not letting them out. Because no one was listening, no one could understand her...No one was that close to lend a shoulder. And she didn't even bother.
Slowly she folded the paper which NaYin had written on and with that smile on, kept it under her bed. Slowly, she climbed on the bed and lay.
With that same shivering smile on...she slowly closed her eyes.
Maybe if she slept a little longer. Just maybe things will be okay. This was the lie she had to foolishly hope on...

In a cave-like room, The Grim reaper appeared. He looked at the Floating body of SiChen and then sighed.
He looked at his stopwatch again "It should be time" He said again as he looked at the body again.
He watched as the blue energy flowed all over the dead body. Going through his eyes and mouth. and passing through his entire body. He sighed.
When The Grim reaper saw it was time, he slowly brought his hands upon him, and then the blue dust also began clustering around him ...
Then a great blue Light occupied the room and when it faded off. Only one man was standing, it was the Grim Reaper.
Now he was in the cloth Sichen was wearing. But his face was still the same. Nothing had changed about his face. It was like The Grim reaper had simply worn SiChen's cloth. But in reality, he had taken over his body.
He looked at his hands which were now fully human and then looked around him. He brought his hands up to his hair which was brunette and a mixture of curly and spikey, just like Sichen had.
He brought his hands down to feel his face as he stretched out his neck. He looked at the stopwatch in his hands and then cleared his throat.
"Hello, My name is Li Sichen," He said.
