Chapter 9: Sad Goodbye

It was a day later when Seiya woke up in a private hospital bed, Mamako was silently sleeping in a chair beside his bed. He couldn't feel his right shoulder because of the anesthetic, but he could feel that his body feel the ache from when he was drop by the terrorist. He yawned which made Mamako open her eyes as she saw Seiya rubbing his eyes, she hugs him grievingly as she said while feeling guilty.

"Seiya! your *sob sob sob* awake!"

Seiya could feel his heart warming up, but a hint of smell made his eye twitch a split second. She has the smell of gunpowder but it was covered with a lot of fragrant perfume, Seiya weakly spoke.

"Mama....I...can't...breath~"

"Oh, I'm sorry..."

"Mama, why do you smell like sulfur?"

"Oh, I might have used an expired perfume~"

Mamako blush guiltily as she didn't look at Seiya's eagle eyes, although the smell of gunpowder was covered by a heavy fragrance perfume. It was a surprise that Seiya could smell it, Seiya nodded as he said.

"Mama shouldn't use expired perfume."

"Yes, Baby is right!"

Mamako just nodded as she agreed with Seiya on not using *expired* perfume, Mamako talk about going to the United States, because she wasn't sure if she completely cleaned the evidence so going oversea for a few years is a good choice. She who have experienced an assassin's life began to rust as she enjoys the warmth that Seiya was producing. Seiya thought was that they plan to take a 2-3 month vacation to the land of America so he agreed without knowing whether he will comeback within a few months or a few years. Ayako with her personal driver visited a few hours later and she left with sadness inside in her heart because she won't get to see Seiya for a few months as Mamako said.

"Little Ayako, Seiya and I plan to go to the United State for a few months."

Mamako's statement was just to satisfy Ayako, even Seiya didn't know Mamako's plans and thoughts so he comforted Ayako even though he was the one that needed the comfort since he have just gone through surgery of removing a sniper rifle's bullet in his right shoulder. At most Ayako ask if they could personally send them to the airport since she wants to see Seiya before he leaves. Mamako agreed since this can be a cover in case an evidence from the crime scene should be found. Ayako left while thinking of gift to give to Seiya, while Seiya continue to sleep as he recovers from his injury.

A week later, Seiya was looking in the mirror because he was shock to see his injured right shoulder. The wound was already in the state of blood coagulation, so he added a new ability that he found toward his physique which was a very weakened version of wolverine's regeneration. He already thought that when he grows up, his regeneration will be more stronger to the point that a bullet wound would recover within 2 days, Seiya covered his shoulder with a big patch bandage as he went back to his room and check his baggage which has clothes and books that he hasn't read. After rechecking them, Seiya was finally satisfied and waited with Mamako in the living room for Ayako and her personal driver. An hour later, the driver knocks on the door as he respectfully said.

"May I take your luggage?"

"Please~"

Mamako gave him the luggage as Seiya went inside the black toyota corona 1997 and sat beside Ayako who held his hand intimately while putting her head onto his shoulder. She began to smell his fragrance as this would be her last time in smelling it, Mamako was surprise to see Ayako hugging Seiya. She already thought that Ayako likes Seiya, but she mentally shakes her head because she doesn't want Seiya to be involve with Ayako and also he is her baby so she marks her on her blacklist. As Seiya silently read a small book about chemistry, he didn't know the crazy thoughts of these girls since he fully doesn't understand their thoughts.

It took them a few hours before arriving at the Airport, Ayako was crying as she hands over her gift to Seiya which was a heart pendant, half of it was white and half of it was black that can be separated. Seiya took the black side while putting the white side to Ayako as he said.

"okay, you should stop crying because you might turn ugly if you cry!"

"hmm!"

Ayako wipe her tears as she nodded, she plans to study hard so that she could at least be worthy of Seiya who could already understand things that she can't understand. Seiya hug Ayako and said his goodbye before going inside the airport with Mamako. Ayako left while wearing half of the heart pendant, this was a new beginning for Ayako, there will be no longer a crying Ayako but a determined Ayako who wants to be with Seiya. Seiya didn't know of her determination because now he is thinking what to eat when he arrives into the United States, since their food proportion is quite bigger like their burger is wider than other country's burger. Mamako on the other hand was contacting a few people as she ask them to arrange a place for them to stay.
