Eight Days

8:00 AM

Michael's cell phone rang while he was still sleeping in his room.

Even though Michael heard the ring, he didn't answer it because he was so languid, he had hangover. Michael is a ramp model, he had party last night, after his photo shoots, he attended a party with his colleagues. His cell phone kept ringing,

he flicked his cell phone next to the bed as he takes a looked on the screen, to know who was calling.

It was his friend Benny calling.

"Hello Michael, it's me Benny!" Benny said on the line.

"What's up?" Michael replied still in drowsiness.

"Well, It's winter vacation bro, and you have to come with us!"

"Oh man! But I have a date!" yawning Michael said. "Common bro everyone is waiting!"

Michael heard the voices of friends around Benny. They were cheering and calling his name.

"Come on Michael join us now, we can't go without you!" They shouted, and as he heard

the voices of friends, he sighed.

"I still have hangover," he yawned.

"Get up bro, you don't have to miss it!" Benny eagerly said. "Well, I think I can't make it, just enjoy without me, Brenda will gonna kill me if I will cancel my date with her," Michael replied.

"Oh man!" Benny scoffed. Suddenly the telephone rings.

"Oh, stubborn man!" Michael sighed as he took the receiver. "Wait, I need to take the call," Michael said and he put down his cell phone.

It was his girlfriend calling.

"Hello, honey, its me Brenda," said on the other line,

"Hello hon, you called so early, what's up?" Michael said as he yawned.

"Honey, I'm so sorry I can't make it tonight," Brenda said on the line.

"But why?"

"My Grandma is sick and I need to visit her in my home town,"

"So you can't go to our date tonight?"

"Yeah, but you can come with me, in my grandma's house," Brenda said. Michael thought twice, as he thinks that he is not necessary to go there.

"Sorry hon, you have to go there with your mom, let's meet again once you returned," Michael said.

"Okay, hon, see you maybe next week,"

"Ok then, see you," Michael said.

"I love you." Brenda chanted.

"I love you too, bye."

Michael hung up the phone and then he called Benny.

"Ok, bro, I'm coming with you guys." He said cheerfully.

Everyone was happy when they found out that Michael was coming with them.

Michael packed his things.

While packing, he heard his friends coming, their car honking.

Michael peeked out the window of his room, and he saw Benny arrives with the van, and it's parked at the facade, he opened the windshield and waved at him. "Hey Michael! We're here!" Benny called out.

"I'll be right there in a minute!" Michael called out as he wave back.

They were five friends who will get along, they will go camping in the snow forest. After a few moments, Michael got in the van as they noticed that he looks sad. "Hey, Michael, why you looked so sad?" One of his friends asked, her named is KC, she was sitting beside him. She was his classmate, and she likes him ever since before, but he didn't like her because she is a flirty type of a girl. "I'm fine," he simply replied as he got in. KC wrapped her arms around him, and he didn't do anything but to let her do it. "I'm so happy that you're here, when I found out that you will come, I came because of you," KC mumbled. Michael just gave her a slight smile, he is thinking about Brenda, he was supposed to be with her. But every time he saw KC, he thought of Brenda was temporarily gone. Michael was not a faithful type of a guy, he can flirt if he likes the girl, but he likes to stay whoever his girlfriend are. Everyone was excited. While they were inside the van, everyone was having fun.

"Hey, this is gonna be fun! Fun! Fun!" One of them happily said named Amber.
