...What?

The group ran down the hall, with Andrew leading the way. It seemed like he had put all his five stat points for reaching level one into strength because he easily smashed any goblin that got in his way. Edward and Leonardo were at the back, protecting the group from any incoming attack.

It seemed like due to them being a group, no wolves attacked and instead left them alone and went after the lone human. It was good because even Edward, with 12 points in strength, wasn't sure he could take them on.

"I reached level 1." Emma suddenly called out, causing Edward to look at her. "I stepped on a slime which gave me enough to level up."

"Tell Andrew to stop and allow you to allocate your stats," Leonard said, to which one of their group members rallied to message Andrew at the front.

"Oh?" Andrew asked, stepping on a Geo slime. "Well, be quick with it. One hour would be over in no time."

Emma nodded and immediately opened her status screen, allocating them. She became motionless like Andrew and Leonard before as the mana worked with her body.

The glasses boy noticed the core of the slime, bending down and picking it up. He stared at it before he crushed it. Without telling anyone he leveled up, he allocated his points.

"Done," Emma said, going to the front of the group.

"Nope. Get to the back, Brown. All you will do is hold me back." Andrew said as he started moving.

"Don't ask for help later." Emma snarled, rolling her eyes.

She joined her two friends at the back, and the group of students continued moving, no one noticing the boy had leveled up, so he stayed in the middle of the group.

They soon reached the stairs, crowded with people going down. They tried to stay together, but two unlucky ones were lost in the crowd. They soon entered the first floor, rushing to the lobby.

More than eighty people gathered in the lobby, screaming and yelling. The tempered glass door was blocked by multiple thick vines that ran up the building. It seemed like their building had also been infected by plants like the one covered by campanula.

"Get out the fucking way!" A man shouted, pushing through the mass. He went to the door and started stomping on it while shouting. "Fuck!" He screamed after a while, seeing it did nothing. The door didn't even crack or budge.

"Well, shit," Edward mumbled, not knowing how to open it.

"Let us try," Andrew said, walking forward. "Smith, Romano, come with me." He said, knowing their strength was high. Not as high as his, but high nevertheless.

The three of them walked forward, and people immediately made their way toward them because they looked like a gang. One was a massive man who looked like a professional fighter, another looked like a street fighter, and the last one looked like a handsome boss. And their blood-covered body wasn't making it any better.

Reaching the front, the man who was screaming was still stomping on the door, trying to break it. Andrew tapped on his shoulder, which caused him to yell,

"What the fuck do you--" Before he could finish his sentence, he turned around to see three built men staring daggers at him. "Uh-- yes." He stuttered, moving out the way.

Once he left, the three of them stood side by side. Raising their legs, they stomped on it. Even with their combined strength, the door didn't even budge, much less break. After all, the door was built to tank bullets. What could three humans do?

"Move back. I will ram into it." Andrew said as Edward and Leonard moved away. He got in position, and as he was about to run, a voice stopped him;

"It wouldn't be smart to do that." A woman's voice came, drawing their attention.

Standing behind them was a slender, attractive, tall woman with three beauty marks below her right eye. She has thin, somewhat cat-like eyes, with thick upper eyelashes, a couple of longer and more pronounced ones poking out to each far side, her irises a bluish-lilac color. She had long blond hair, reaching her lower back, with some resting over her shoulder. She was beautiful. Probably the most beautiful woman Edward has ever seen, celebrities not included.

She wears a white, double-breasted blazer with a high collar, dark blue dress pants, coupled with white gloves and dark blue boots. Above her blazer, she wore a lab coat.

"Von Arnim. What do you need?" Andrew asked, a hint of disgust in his voice.

'So this is Elizabeth Von Arnim.' Edward thought, inspecting the beautiful woman in front of him. 'I won't lie. She is more gorgeous than people say. Props.'

"Well, if you charge at the door, it won't break," Elizabeth advised, folding her arm. "No matter how strong you are, you won't break the door."

"I can guarantee you. I will break it." Andrew said, glaring at her. "Mind your business."

"So? After you break the door, how would you take care of the vines?" Elizabeth asked, pointing at the vines that covered the door from the other side. "Break it?"

"Yes. I am sure of it." Andrew said, turning to Edward. "Right, Smith?"

Edward nodded, turning to the vines. "We could think of something." He mumbled, going into deep thought.

"Remember, the deadline is 1 hour." Elizabeth recalled, turning around. "I could help you, but it seems like you three have it under control." Sighing, she began to walk away. "Too bad. I wanted to help."

Edward looked at her, then at the vines. "What could she possibly come up with to break down this door?" He mused, thinking deeply.

"Don't doubt her, dude," Leonardo said, coming up to him. "She is the smartest senior in the Biochemistry major. She is also taking Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. She is sometimes in my art class, and she draws better than me! Can you believe that?"

"I mean, she just transferred from wherever she came from, so I barely know anything about her. I will take your word for it." Edward said, walking forward. "So, what can you do to help us?" He asked, directed to Elizabeth, who was walking away.

"What are you doing, Smith?" Andrew said in a hushed tone. "Let her go. We can do this ourselves."

"Come on, dude. We should get any help we can. You don't want to miss the one-hour deadline, do you?" Edward whispered, to which Andrew grunted, walking away.

Elizabeth stopped walking, looking back at him. "Oh?"

"Yes." Edward nodded, staring at her. "I heard you were smart, so please, enlighten us."

"Good." Elizabeth smiled, turning to face him. "How about we make our water slime friend help us?"

...

"What?"
