Daniel, an average kid, from an upper middle-class family lived a great life. He had a loving family, many close friends, food to eat, a roof to live under, he was smarter than most, and was good at sports. Really, he had anything he could’ve wished for. On a day like any other, Daniel was heading to the hockey rink for a team practice. However, like the bitch murphy is, Daniel’s car got t-boned by a truck from the side he was sitting on. Not only did he get utterly bulldozed by said truck, but also got stabbed like a fucking vampire through the heart by his hockey stick. And with that, he died. The end. Psyche! Rob said “Nuh uh” and brought him back to living with a few perks. Except this wasn’t the earth he originated from, or the same universe for that fact. Follow the story of Daniel as he traverses the world taken over by cordyceps. Before I started the story, I just wanted to let you know that this is in fact my first-time writing and an actual story that wasn’t just re-writing the end of another story for an assignment in school. The main reason as to why I’m writing this is because I’ve gotten a little bored scrolling through Webnovel trying to find an actually good story. Also, although I am a native English speaker, I’m young and will still make mistakes, so don’t be afraid to correct me or give me suggestions about where to take this story.
