Chapter 24: Match Six

Gabe, pinned under Vegeta's foot, let out a painful moan. The stinging pain from the spikes on Vegeta's boots gradually wore down his resistance, especially after hearing Vegeta's words of surrender.

Just as the referee was about to declare Vegeta the winner upon hearing Gabe's intention to concede, he was surprised to see Vegeta glare at him after hearing Gabe's words.

Vegeta grabbed Gabe by the collar, lifted him up, and said, "You're actually going to give up? As a proud Saiyan, you're going to surrender to your enemy?"

After saying this, Vegeta threw Gabe into the sky and continued, "This world doesn't need a Saiyan who has lost his pride. I'll kill you, and then I'll go to Universe 6 and destroy Planet Rase as well."

Vegeta then fired a Ki Blast at Gabe, who was still in the air.

At this point, Beerus was genuinely concerned and asked, "Is Vegeta really going to break the rules?"

Before anyone else could say anything, Gabe, who was still in the air, heard Vegeta's words about destroying Planet Rase. He immediately roared and transformed into a Super Saiyan.

Gabe angrily charged towards Vegeta, ready to punch him.

However, at that moment, Vegeta revealed a satisfied smile and said, "Very good!"

Vegeta's words left Gabe stunned, and he couldn't even maintain his Super Saiyan transformation.

Vegeta continued, "Do you remember this feeling? The key to transforming into a Super Saiyan is anger. Try transforming again."

Only then did Gabe understand why Vegeta had said those infuriating words earlier. He gratefully glanced at Vegeta and transformed into a Super Saiyan once more.

Vegeta nodded in satisfaction and said, "Your talent is exceptionally high, even among Saiyans. Remember this feeling."

"Yes, Master, thank you!" Gabe expressed his gratitude.

Vegeta responded to Gabe's address with a cold smile and said, "I hope you'll still be grateful to me later." After saying this, Vegeta transformed into Super Saiyan Blue and showed it to Gabe.

Gabe was astonished to see his self-proclaimed cheap master transform into another form.

Vegeta spoke, "Remember, there's no limit to improving your strength." Then, before Gabe could react, he quickly moved and struck Gabe's abdomen with his elbow.

The intense pain caused Gabe to lose consciousness immediately.

Vegeta picked up Gabe and delivered him to Botamo in Universe 6.

Goku, witnessing Vegeta's actions, couldn't help but exclaim, "I never thought Vegeta would teach someone martial arts."

John Doe replied, "That's because deep down, Vegeta still yearns for the Saiyans who died in the explosion of Planet Vegeta. He has a lingering attachment to his Saiyan heritage."

"Well, that's not right either. I'm a Saiyan too, so why doesn't Vegeta treat me the same way?" Goku asked, somewhat puzzled.

John Doe asked with a smile, "Do you think Vegeta likes you?"

Goku thought for a moment and replied, "I don't dislike him."

John Doe responded, "That's the reason. He hates that about you the most."

Goku wasn't sure if he understood, but he nodded anyway. Suddenly, he asked, "Wait, you're a Saiyan too. Why doesn't Vegeta hate you?"

"He doesn't hate me because, from the beginning, he never considered me a Saiyan but an Earthling. So, it's not that he doesn't hate me; he simply doesn't care about me," John Doe explained.

"In his eyes, I'm no different from Krillin, Piccolo, and the others. I'm just an Earthling with slightly greater strength."

Goku wasn't sure if he understood, but he didn't pursue the matter further.

With Gabe eliminated, Universe 6 was left with only one remaining fighter: the assassin Hit.

Of course, the fighters from Universe 7 had no idea who they were about to face.

Vegeta stood on the platform, looked at Hit, and shouted, "Hey, the last fighter from Universe 6, come down quickly! Let's finish this!"

Hit slowly stood up, jumped off the spectator stand, and headed towards the platform.

In Universe 6, the name of the assassin Hit was well-known to everyone. Since his debut as an assassin, he had never failed a mission, boasting a 100% mission success rate and ranking first on the assassin leaderboard.

Champa was also aware of Hit's reputation. He turned to Vados and asked, "Vados, with Hit's current fame and prestige, he shouldn't be lacking in money for the competition, right?"

Vados replied, "I promised Hit that if he wins, I'll give him our Time Cube."

Upon hearing Vados's response, Champa was speechless. He asked, "Vados, if you give the Time Cube to Hit, what will we use?"

Vados smiled and said, "But isn't this what Lord Champa asked for? You wanted the strongest fighter from Universe 6 to participate in the competition, no matter the cost."

"Lord Champa, I'm just following your orders!"

Upon hearing Vados's words, Champa was left without a response. How could he blame Vados for following his orders?

So, Champa had no choice but to call on all the fighters to cheer for Hit. The previously quiet spectator stand immediately erupted with loud cheers.

Vegeta, seeing Hit with his hands in his pockets and standing casually in front of him, shouted, "Damn it! Are you looking down on me?"

Hit didn't respond to Vegeta's question and simply stared at him silently.

With the sound of the gong, the final match that would determine the fate of Universe 6 began.

Seeing Hit's disdain, Vegeta transformed into Super Saiyan Blue, ready to finish him off in one go.

He kicked off with one leg and punched towards Hit.

However, just as Vegeta was about to hit Hit, he suddenly felt a heavy blow to his nose.

Vegeta, who had been charging forward, stumbled backward and fell heavily onto the platform.

Vegeta's sudden predicament shocked everyone in the spectator stand, including Beerus and Champa, as no one had seen how Vegeta was attacked.
