21st Kiss

I woke up early. There's a big smile on my face. Even though I slept late last night, I feel so energized.

I've done what I needed to do. I also took a shower before heading to the kitchen. The sun is just rising. I looked inside the fridge, it was full. Hmm... what should I cook? Ah, maybe I'll just cook fried rice and scrambled eggs. Yes! That's it.

I smiled as I prepared the ingredients.

"I-I still love you. I hate myself for loving you even though you hurt me. It's annoying. I'm angry at myself because even though you left me. You're still... you're still here."

Why did I hear what Joseph said last night? He still loves me. What's this? I know I must seem foolish smiling here and feeling giddy. I even bit the spoon I was holding.

"Is something burning??" I was surprised when Joseph suddenly spoke from behind me. I immediately looked at him.
