"You got it, Captain," Kako replied. "... Wait, you don't want a bedroll?"
"What's wrong with the floor? A pillow's more than enough, especially with a blanket on top," Oli jested while stretching his arms and legs.
Kako took out his battleaxe to lean on, also double-checking that he sensed things correctly.
"... You're one peculiar human, Oliver."
"Not really," Oli countered with a half-yawn. "I'd just rather stay in contact with the floor. It gives me a better shot at sensing possible emergencies."
"I guess that's fair," Kako agreed with a slight nod.
"Wake me up in two hours," Oli added. "Four hours total is plenty of rest after a day of basically sitting and cultivating."
"Don't worry, I'll make sure to wake you up on time. I'll take all the naptime I can get."
They laughed together as Oli let slumber overtake him.
Or at least, that's how it seemed.
