Dimensional ship

It has been a long night for Alexander. It's 3 AM right now and all he wants to do is get ready to go shooting with his friends but that got cancelled as he had to go to work instead of going with them.

So there he sits, with a car full of ammo and guns but nowhere to shoot them until tomorrow, a waste of a day really. Well at least everything is already packed for tomorrow I guess.

Those were the thoughts that were going to Alexander's mind this night until he saw a bright flash of light on one of his security monitors.

"The hell was that?!" He asked no one in particular considering he was alone on post tonight.

As he looked out the window in the direction the camera was pointing he could see the remanent of the light fading.

The first thing he does is check his gun. A glock 9mm, to assure himself that it is loaded as it should be. With that done he grabs his flashlight and heads out to check what the flash was. It was mostly hidden behind one of the storage buildings so he couldn't get a good look at whatever it was from his position.

After a few minutes of walking he comes upon the scene that had his jaw dropped to the floor. It had been a few years since he had seen the television show but he could easily recognize a puddle jumper from the Stargate franchise.

After a few moments of just staring at it he finally picks up his jaw from the ground and walks around the craft. It looks pristine to his untrained eyes as he reaches the back where he knew the entrance was.

Once he reached the rear of the ship the ramp lowered for him making him freeze and draw his weapon and flashing his flashlight into the interior of the ship.

Seeing nothing threatening and beginning to internally geek out Alex began to move in to the passenger compartment of the vessel, inch by inch slowly moving forward taking in every detail of the vessel that he can. It looks just as he remembered from the television show though he has no real clue what does what but he does see something that stands out.

If he had to guess, this is something like the time ship version of a puddle jumper creates by Janus, if the big piece of machinery in the middle of the compartment is anything to go by.

And is it just me or is this thing bigger than it should be? More longer than anything else really. I know the jumper should only be around 8 meters long but this thing seems closer to 10-12 meters long. The width and the height seem accurate enough if I had to guess though.

As I move forward towards the cockpit of the vessel to finish clearing it, my mind begins to wonder about what the hell I'm going to do now. Certainly not give it to the government if it actually proves to fly and I'm actually capable of using it.

With that thought in mind I finish my tour and move to the control chair of the ship, I could see the cockpit when I walked around the vessel and knew everything looked as I remembered it but to see and touch it is something else altogether.

With those last thoughts in mind I sit my happy ass in the right side chair and hope for the best. As I sit down and get comfortable, which is extremely easy in this thing it seems, I felt a prick at my neck and promptly passed out.
