There were 3 days left, after that the two great familias will be here to mount there attack on behemoth, if things aren't too different then they should be able to bring down the monster but some of the members will get caught up in it's poison including zard, though did he get poisoned after eating a piece of behemoth to level up or he get poisoned while fighting, I do not know, but they were able to take it down with there main members intact.

Hence I have at most 4 days to go to the behemoth, poke it's eye, and come back alive with behemoth of my tail. It's easier said than done, I could challenge other level 4s and 5s here to earn enough SP to buy an S class skill like flying thunder god to escape, or just flat out ignore the quest, up till now no quest had any penalty except for the first two, rest had been optional. This one included.

But the reward was the best I have seen, and so was the risk, I spend the remaining time training as my SP count was at a solid 432,000, I could take on the behemoth with a few A rank skills for a few seconds, but then it hit me,

Me getting help wasn't in failure condition, my job was to poke its eye while it is alive and live to tell the tale. Hence my best option was to join zeus and hera familia in there battle, take his eyes and get the fuck out of there.

But to convince them to take me will be the hardest part, they weren't taking anyone below level 3 either way, I can level up now but it will way too suspicious. But I will have to try, if words don't get to them then,

Three days passed in a blur as I honed my skill with my sword, in 2 weeks all my stats as have hit S 999 and I was ready for leveling but not now.

Today the town was more noisy as I saw many new and strong people, and I also saw a familiar face, zard. He was talking to two other people, I made on and saw the whole city had changed, my friends were currently playing with one of the adventurer from zeus familia.... I am not angry. Not angry at all that my fan club was fanning over another adventurer..... Alright I am gonna kick his balls first.

As I was going to show divine wrath to that prick, suddenly I felt very strong presence behind me. I quickly turned around and got it fighting mode with the shop function open right at an A rank escape skill.

I looked at 6 female adventurers behind me, one of them was alfia, I am guessing they are hera familia's executives. I dropped my guard and looked at them, confusion and wary clear on my face,

"don't worry lio they are my friends" alfia said. Hold on a moment, she called me by my name. I can die happy now.

I nodded at her words and relaxed.

"oh? Seems like the boy likes alfia" said one of the female adventurer with an amused face while alfia looked at her with an "are you serious?" face. I am 5 and not into Shotacon, thank you very much. I can wait until I grow some hair down there. Then the one whose presence I felt, congratulated me for my level up to 2, and said that if I need any help or instructions, I can ask them. I in turn thanked them for there offer and they left the place.

As I started thinking my next plan, wait that prick. I turn and they were gone. Ha next you won't be saved buddy.

I too turned around and left. Since today was the meeting of the adventurers who will be going after the behemoth, and I need to weasel my way in there.

Zard pov.

Zard was taking a stroll around the town, as he thought 'Maxim was being a worry wart as usual, ladies says its one of his charms. Charm my ass, he needs to grow some balls. I am at the peak of level 6 right now and if I can get a piece of behemoth, I can get to level 7.

But right now the moment I entered the city, there is one name I have been hearing again and again, a kid named Lio. Apparently the brat got to level 2 in just under 3 months and that to without the dungeon as a 5 year old. At first I thought it was nonsense but then I heard, from my familia how the boy beat ria of hera familia, then hermes ranting about how amazing the kid was and then the final nail in coffin for all of us was when alfia of all the people admitted that he was more talented than her.

Now even maxim was itching to meet the boy, some even suggested recruiting the boy, but after hearing how his parents died in the monster break and his god looked after him, after that, it was highly unlikely he will convert.

Well whatever, we will meet the boy before leaving, first behemoth. I entered the city Hall since it was the only building large enough to hold all the adventurers who will be leading the attack, the discussion was mostly empress from hera familia and maxim arguing, they both should just kiss already.

Suddenly, the doors opened as one of adventurer came inside, and said something to both maxim and empress,. Maxim nodded. What the heck is happening?. Then after some time, a kid came inside the hall. Why was a kid here, he didn't look older than 7.

"welcome Lionard, how can we help you" oh, so this is the wonder kid, have to say he is way to young for adventuring.

"please take me with you to fight behemoth" holy hell the kid went straight to the point. This shocked everyone present here,

"listen kid, behemoth is not something you can get near, we understand your parents died because of it but you are way too young for this, plus we cannot take anyone below level 3" Aaron, our vice captain, said to the kid.

"just one hit, I want to hit it just once then I will run away. I promise I will not get in your way" kid said shaking a little, he is looking for revenge?, that will ruin him.

"listen Lio, it is way too dangerous for you even if you are as strong as a level 3, you lack experience" alfia said with a kind and gentle voice. Hold on.... Everyone was looking at the ice queen of hera familia, she was going full on mama mode here, holy heck what did the kid do to her.

The said kid was fidgeting on the spot, I am so not used to this kind of attention, I knew they will deny but it was worth a try plus that guy gave me a good reason too, revenge for my parents. Alright time to put the final card on the table.

Another guy chuckled and helped me "compensate"....stupid 5 year old tongue can't handle big words.

"kid can't say compensate and wants to fight behemoth" another voice came from the crowd. As everyone started chuckling, I was completely red in embarrassment, I am sure I am about to cry with suddenly a lady form hera familia motioned them to get quite, she was the same one with that strong presence, she must be empress, the sole level 9 to ever exist after Gods descended.

"what do you mean by compensation... Puff" Oi, not you too. Guess hearing a kid say stuff like this funny.

I wiped my tears and pointed at alfia, and said

"miss alfia is sick"

"we all know that kid" zard said, damn he sounded like those badasses for animes, guess what we are in an anime.

"I can heal her" I said.

"we appreciate your concern child but her disease cannot be cured with a simple healing spell." one of the ladies who I encountered earlier said.

"let him try Emma" alfia said as I walked towards her. Let see how it goes. I thought about the spell as the instructions came to my mind.

"your hand miss alfia" I asked as she extended her hand and she looked at me with curiosity, the rest of the people have formed a circle around us and watched, for there faces the only thing they were expecting was an embarrassed 5 year old, hold on I think I am 6 now, alright focus it's not important right now.

I am going remember there faces after I heal her for the rest of my life. Ha.

I took out a small dagger I was carrying and picked my finger, as blood started to come out, now everyone was watching with profound curiosity, as to what I will do.

I lifted my finger above her palm, as the drop of blood was about to fall, It started glowing in golden light,

Right when it was falling it became completely golden as it fell on alfia's hand it got absorbed in her skin as she also glowed a little and then stopped.

Everyone's breath had all but stopped as they looked at alfia, Alfia on the other hand was confused for the most part, she looked at the hand were the golden blood drop fell, she touched her ears, due to her disease her ears were very sensitive, even the slightest of noise was painful for her. Over the years she had gotten used to the discomfort and pain in her body but now she felt more free than ever before, there was no pain. Nothing. As I single tear unconsciously fell for her eyes.

I wanted to show them the most smug face that I could manage, telling them 'didn't I say so' but strangely no words came form my mouth as my vision started to blur and conciseness started fading.

A mind down. Holy hell, even with a maxed outed level 2 mana Stat I can only barely cast one S rank spell, the shits broken so its worth it but still.

Well I hope they don't leave me behind, as I started falling, and catch me before I plant my face in the ground below, just then I felt arms wrapping around me, ah bless the kind soul whi helped the poor little me. Alright time for a nap.
