Elijah Gray Dalton, CEO of Dalton Industries—the largest aircraft manufacturer in the world, was the most sought after bachelor in the city. Every girl dreamed to be with him, but having a monochromatic vision or complete color blindness, he felt that his world was a lot different from others, hence, he distanced himself to any woman.
Amelia Harper was a happy-go-lucky girl. She loved to party and was always surrounded by people, especially men. She was an heiress but everything changed when her parents died and left her with nothing. She worked hard to support her studies and her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer.
The two accidentally met and had a one month agreement of pretending to be a couple. The deal was simple. Amelia will be his pretend girlfriend and he would pay her a hundred thousand dollars. The contract was written in black and white. No intimacy, except for holding hands. No kissing, no hugging and definitely no sex.
But when Amelia learned about the truth of her parents death, she seek the help of Elijah to reclaim what she had lost. She knew he would not agree to extend their contract so she had no choice to blakmail him by using his weakness.
"I know there's a problem with your vision. You're color blind. You don't need to lie because I already have proof."
Elijah glared at her with gritted teeth.
"What do you want from me? Our deal is done. We have nothing to do with each other."
She stared back at her. She wasn't ready to give up. Elijah was her only hope to restore her family's name.
"I want revenge. I want justice for my parents. And I want to reclaim what's mine." She said.
"And if I don't agree?" He asked, still glaring at her.
"Then I will tell everyone about your illness. It would ruin your reputation and people will doubt you because you lack something."
Elijah smirked. "I like your guts. So, fine. I will help you. But in one condition."
She frowned. "What condition?"
Elijah grinned at her. "We will have to change what's in the contract, especially the part with no intimacy."
"What? And why would I agree with that non-sense?"
She heard Elijah chuckle. "You asked me to help you. My help is not free, you have to pay. But you're poor and have nothing to offer, except your body. Have sex with me then I will help you take back everything."
Her world was a colorful one, while his was just a plain black and white. Will love still bloom between two people that had seen the world differently?
