Episode 1 - Day of the Great Calamity

( News on Television is playing )

"Amidst the disasters were experiencing right now, nasa has discovered a weird object heading towards our planet-"

'Television was closed

"Jeon, can you believe this? Back on 2012 they said the same thing but nothing happened. You can't trust medias nowadays aist, oh you're off to the mall?"

"Yea, ill be back later"

"Ok, just make sure you come back before 7 for the christmas eve ok hon?"

"Ya see you mom!!!"

Today is my birthday, im heading to the mall to buy the new game i have been waiting for months! It is released on my birthday, thay is today which is the best thing that ever to me happened this year.

[ Mall, 2:55 PM ]

After buying the new game i wanted, i noticed that the mall has less shoppers compare to the usual days and it's strange because today is holiday and it should be a total opposite.

It is strange but i didn't really care because it made easier for me to get the new game i wanted.

Im excited to go home and i began to walk away from the mall then suddenly on my way to my house, a ginger cat stopped infront of me.

It keeps crying and i find it annoying that's why i took a can of goods i also bought from the mall and laid it in front of it.

"Eat it and stop crying kitty"

I then walked past it but a few minutes later i noticed that it was following me.

I paused my walk and said to the cat

"Oh come on! Stop following me!"

It then started to circle around me.

"Seriously?! That's how you want to play it huh?"

I ran away from it as fast as i could but it was catching up so i gave all my energy to run away from the cat.

After few minutes of running away from the cat, i finally lost him. That was exhausting!

The moment i was about to start walking, my phone snooze. I took a look at my phone and saw a text message.

" Unknown Number "

I opened the text message and it stated

"Jeon, come to the School Library,

4PM ASAP!"

I don't know who've sent it but it seems like it's someone i know because it knows my name that's why i didn't hesitate to come to the school and im on the area anyway.

[ Herme Academy, 3:52 PM ]

"Looks like im at the school now, i should head to the library"

On the way to the schools door, i paused and got goosebumps. I feel like someone is staring at me but when i turned my head on the bush where i noticed the stare was, i didn't get a glimpse of anything. I washed it off like nothing happened.

'Phone ringing

'Answer

"Jeon, where are you now?"

"I'll be home later mom"

"Come home soon hon, the news said it's dangerous outside just now."

"It did?"

"Yes, so head home as soon as possible ok?"

"I will after i finish this, cya mom"

"Ok babye"

'Call ended

I had a brother once but when i was 3 years old, my brother died. Since then mom has been overly protective towards me and my sister.

As soon as the phone call was over, i rushed to the library.

[ Library, 4:12 PM ]

"Jeon! Finally you're here!!"

Noona said

;Noona is Jeon's homeroom teacher in her 20s

i replied

"Why did you call me here for?"

Noona seemed to be tired and stayed up late for nights because her hair is all messy, her eyes is covered with eyebags and she's wearing those glasses and white coat like some sort of scientist.

It's really not that weird that she's wearing a white coat even though she's a teacher because she's a science teacher.

Then after few seconds of her being busy looking for a certain book in the library she finally stopped and picked a dark violet book

"Jeon, have you ever heard of a book called

Phantasm of the World"

what noona said

She paused after telling me those but i felt a strange tone in her voice, it's like she's nervous discussing this with me but then she continued and said

"This book is written by a strange person-"

Noona then paused again and this time i can see tears dropping in her eyes.

"Noona, are you okay?"

She stood up and said

"Jeon, we don't have much time. It's almost sunset and it's going to happen again!"

She was freaking out and packing books in her bag. I got confused of what's happening so i said

"What are you talking about?"

My hands were sweating because im nervous of her answer. I can feel that something wrong is about to happen but i tried to remain calm as possible

She stopped packing her bag and then she turned her back on me and rushed to get something on the librarians desk.

Im really really confused but i followed her and asked again

"Noona! Please tell me what's going on!"

She ignored me once again and continued to look for something and what she found surprised me.

On her hands, she held a strange glowing gems.

I took a step back and asked

"What-- what the hell is that thing?!"

She suddenly burst into tears but also stopped and she then wiped her tears.

She looked directly at my face and smiled

"Jeon, this world... This world is about to end..."

Those words made me speechless

I nervously laughed and said

"Noona what are you joking around... Come on this isn't you"

She replied

"Let me finish. Listen, you've witnessed it already. The eruption of the volcanoes, earthquake, climate change, viruses and tons of disaster all in a short period of time but it's time for it's finale. The end"

It didn't make any sense and ithought she is going crazy but

"Noona you're not serious right? Tell me this is a joke!"

She was serious...

Moments passed the ground started to shake

"Noona let's get out in here!"

I grabbed her hands but she won't leave

She shook her head and told me

"Jeon, listen to me carefully. It's futile to avoid this, this is how it's supposed to end.

It will be the last minute for this world. I wasn't able to save you last time like what i should've really done but this time... I have succeeded my mission."

She held my hands and handed me the gem

I looked at her and she said

"The world you know is a lie-"

'A bright light covered everything

My vision is turning all white then everything stopped...

...

...

My body is laying on a grass. My skin felt a soothing breeze of wind and i opened my eyes and saw a clear blue sky.

Now i remember...

That world i knew was the world i created.
