Chapter 1

"Do tell me uplifting report, lady Lily."

Heavy wind meandered the entire the whole room. Torches are the only source of light as the moon didn't  show up this night.

I composed my self, bowed down a little and proceed to answering the Mistress. "Bradford is now under question, Lady Doris. The bastard fell right to the trap this morning as he was spotted burying the poor lady's body outside his Villa." I moistened my lips. "The evidence are in my study. The punishment of his crimes are harsh, surely he won't make up to seek revenge."

The Mistress- Lady Doris' lips nestled into a grin. Despite the age, Lady Doris contains its flowering look causing her to seem 10 years younger and youthful. Yet, I should say, her beauty is quite the common as she was blend with a familiar blood. The only unique kind about her shall be her eyes. Her dull green eyes talk wonder as if it has its own world.

"I am reddened speechless about your quick of action, Lady Lily. I ought to express my greatest admiration towards your success as you remained quite and valiant regardless of dealing a strong enemy." She exclaimed. For the first time, I have felt proud of myself.

My warm and relaxed eyes bore at the Mistress' "I cannot complete my mission successful without your guidance, Lady Doris. Indeed, Bradford so far is the hardest one in my hold yet worry not, I can be invincible If I needed to be."

With a fulfilled look. Lady Dori sipped on her red wine, her fingers now combing Max's fur--- her precious black cat. The dimmed room lit as colossal lightings and thunder strike outside the Manor.

A moment of silent before the Mistress broke it.

"Did they secure Bradford's vision, yes?"

Speaking of his fire vision. I bit my lower lip and saturated it. "The Court Guards did took him to question, surely he will be put on trials by tomorrow. His vision might be under the law's claw by this time, Lady Doris." I paused. "His inheritance are transferred to the orphanage, I heard---"

"---they didn't transferred it to us? do tell, the 12th palace is the one who put an end to him--- I care less about how they will deal with his Villa's and properties."

An unexpected look showed up in my face. Surely, the 12th Palace put an end to his crimes--- raping women and killing them afterwards---, we shall recieve grants however the bastard's inheritance?

Tucking my hear behind my ear I opened my mouth to speak. "Truly. I shall demand this request then, Lady Doris. First thing tomorrow."

A sound of relief she blew. "Very well, the night is not that young anymore. You can proceed and rest in your bedchamber." She put Max over her table, the cat is currently peering toward me with a gleam on his eyes.

With a slight bow, I declared my leave. "I shall take my leave then, at that point. Have a wonderful evening Lady Doris."

-

Before the sun could brush my skin. I shut the blinds of my window--- preventing the sun to light inside my bedchamber.

I am aware that my head as though it is nested by a bird but I truly care less as I immediately stormed towards my balcony. I just woke up and realized that it rains the whole night and my books--- my bloody books are out there--- surely, drenched in wet.

"I should have taken you inside with me...." My lips thinned up into a line. True to my words, my three science books are soaking wet.

I almost got teared as I dare to open it and the words are now unable to read. Nothing left to do, I carried it with me, opened the curtains and put it down on the windows so the daylight could atleast dry them.

With a frustrated  look. I threw myself inside my wardrobe--- wondering what should I wear this morning. My eyes wandered my whole closet. Gowns, dresses, corsets, gloves and accessories could be seen.

I couldn't decide, I randomly fish out a puff sleeves beige-embroiled dress out of the rest. I dare not to get gloves as I figured myself I do loathe wearing one. The accessories should be simple yet attention seeker.

After I did my shower. My servants came in to put powder on my face--- to assist me with putting the garments.

"Morning, Daisy and Erin. I feared I shall trouble you again early this morning." I uttered, smiling before them.

"Good Morning also, It is our honor to serve you Lady Lily, please take your sit as we start doing wonders!" The ever energetic one, Daisy replied. "Did you have a goodnight rest, Lady Lily?" Erin asked as she do my hair.

"I do. Hopefully you too. My mission is completed, my mind is now cleared."

They once again smiled and congratulated me. No one talks about their mission after it will be completed.

Erin let a gasped as if she remembered something.

"You again, is in the Magazine this morning, my lady. Another achievement coming from the 12th Palace. Rumors has it that locals are slowly forgetting the reputation of the 12th Palace. All they know is that the Palace conveyed hope!" She exclaimed, they both clapped their hands I remained calm. Truly, I care less about stuff like that.

"Very well, that's how it should be." Eyes locked at the mirror, I replied.

"Your suiters, my lady--- uhm--- some are outside."

"Suiters? I feared you are bound to make them leave--- the Mistress is not fond of men after all." My emotion change upon uttering the word men.

"The Mistress is! Yet how about you, Lady Lily?" Asked Daisy innocently. Her blue eyes shined upon asking. I saturated my lips. "Hmm. I do not wish to be with a man, my dear. Even if I am, my standards are way to high that even a crowned prince would dare complain!"

Our laugh echoed the entire room afterwards.

"Enough with the jesting, I need to be early as I have to deal with an urgent matter." I said. I look at myself in the mirror. I am beyond satisfied with my look. My slightly curl white hair is neatly tied with with flowers around it. My face? Oh well. I have no time to describe it.

The two bowed before leaving my bed chamber.

I took a deep sigh. I close my eyes to relax my body, here comes another bloody work.

---

"Raisins! Anyone wants a bowl of Raisins? It will be sold for 6 silvers---"

"--- a barter would do---"

"---my Raisins are from the west, I do not intend to barter it with your rope, sir."

"Then how about 3 silvers? Raisins are common these days. Young lady, if you sold it to those greedy merchants--- that will only be 2 silvers for them!"

The ever noisy market of Grevineece. I glance down at the broken mirror scattered in the mud, mirrors are worth golds, surely no one wants to waste them.

I lifted a finger, draw binds and with a  blink of an eye. The broken mirror found its way to fix itself. I made a small smile under my hood. It was a small heart-shaped mirror.

I tilted my head to look at the old lady who is selling candles, she saw what I did. I stretch my hand to reach the mirror, still dirty as it was drenched in a mud.

My fingers made binds again. The mud disappear, the mirror is now clean. With no effort, I hand it to the old lady.

"Its yours," my voice soft, only the boat of us can heart it.

She let out a small gasped, her eyes wander around in panick. "No one have seen it, take it or it will be taken by someone else."

She nodded her head repeatedly, eyes glued down the mirror. She put it inside her old small cloak.

"My lady, I-I have never seen as powerful as you are. May the Klasia God guide you. I shall take my leave, a lady like you is no ordinary."

She put on her hood and walk the opposite direction.

The Klasia. A God who is worship by the people in Uno. The old lady just now, she's from Uno? If she truly is, how can she cross the boarder between the Uno and Grevineece? She would like be dead even before she could see the boarder.

I narrowed my eyes. Another worthy of investment indeed. I gave the market another look before I walk roughly 5 more minutes to my destination.

The sun is out early than what is expected. No moon came out but the cold breeze is already enough to guess that another thunder and lighting will make an appearance any time right now.

What a weird weather we got here.

My eyes fix on the wooden door before me. XZ Travern. Was carved into it. Without a word, I opened the door.

As I expected, this place is crowded. I made my way to the bartender. I still didn't lift my hood. Not now.

"Moon Pie and a fresh lemon." As soon as those word left my mouth, the bartender immediately did his job.

"You can wait here, Madame." He respond, guiding me to a another door to another.

I nod my head. Signaling him to take his leave. My eyes now roamed around, it is my first appearance in this travern. And it will be my first appearance to its owner.
