Chapter 1She can't leave!

"She can't leave Aaron!" The lady screeched as caught on to what the man had said to her.

"Why not?"Aaron's tone was soothing." Sapphire, she needs some space and time on her own to learn how to defend herself "he said.

" you don't get it do you? if she leaves Argan Lord Anderknox will be hot on her tail not mention that he and Mythia want us out of their way" she was reasoning with him.

"But how is she to learn to use her powers if she doesn't get the time" he was making sense and she knew it, which would explain the glare she was now giving him.

"Same way I did, by ___" her reply was cut off as a guard burst through the door unannounced.

"Alfred what's the meaning of this!"Aaron seemed really pissed off by the guard's audacity.

" humble apologies sire" Alfred shrank when he noticed Sapphire's presence. "Lady Sapphire" she gave him a nod and he returned his gaze to Aaron as he spoke"one of the students has escaped the sanctuary___" Sapphire outright interrupted him.

"Which student"

"Ms....ms Violet__" that earned an outburst from Sapphire.

"You see Aaron!... I told you, now she's gone and we have to look for her find her before Mythia does" she made an abrupt exit

"What coarse of action should we follow sire?"

"Escort Lady Sapphire in ms Violet's trail" he gave Alfred a hard glare" find her and bring them back safely understood "

"Loud and clear sire" and with that Alfred was out of the room, as quick as thunder he had assembled a team and they were set along the way hot on Violet's trail along with Sapphire.

You see Aaron is like the boss to the sanctuary, anything and everything he says goes unquestioned. And so Alfred has no option but to find the juvenile and that too while making the rescue a pleasant mission for the sire's 'best friend' Lady Sapphire if lack of better wording.

Sapphire's POV

I was getting more worried by the second thinking about my Rose, 'was she okay' 'is she hurt' and the one question I dreaded more than the others 'why such a drastic step'...of course part of my upbringing was meant for cases of dread as such so I probably look like an avenging angel in a picture-perfect of calm and stoic, my worries hidden from the entire world. Wait why do I feel so ... so..., I don't know but this feeling... I've only seen one person experience it and that was my mom the first time I'd___no...no it can't be. I was brought out of my thoughts when I felt her right above me and so I looked up and surprisingly so did the guard.

"Violet get down here immediately" I was suddenly worried about her, the activation of her powers was the one thing I'd dreaded over the years.

"I don't want to!" She snapped, she never snaps at me.

Trying to stay calm "I didn't ask whether you want to or not, but for your__" I didn't get a chance to finish as she spoke in panic

"Mom what are those"all I was seeing were trees

"You're seventeen and you don't know a tree when you see one" I was getting annoyed, I mean she ran from the protection of the sanctuary just so she could explore the forest! how irresponsible is that...I sighed "Violet just__" in her next words I could feel her fear.

"Mom I know you have powers, so get up here and see this" I turned to the guards wary of what I'm about to reveal.

"Not a word to anyone about this" I flew upwards to my daughter.

"Does the sire Aaron know of this"

Alfred, I think That's his name, I never really paid attention to their names, if they're gonna die for me I rather not get attached to them I did that once and I lost a best friend.

"He knows I have powers, but what's important now is that you're gonna help me save my daughter"

"You do realize you can float her down" they all burst out laughing... Morons!

"Haha you have two terapiens, five gandans and three crocians headed in this direction" I saw them all turn pale.

"We haven't seen any of them in more than a decade"

"Mom what are they" I couldn't answer her now so I cast a protective shield on her and jumped to the ground for battle.

"We don't know how to fight these things, but it's now or never"

The terapiens are one of the fastest creatures in our realm so it didn't phase me when they made the first appearance. One of the guards ran straight at them. concentrating I stood back and felt my iron armor form over my skin, dang it felt good!! I'm back...

"My lady" I could feel it in his tone that he was amazed

"Terapiens, get a clear aim on their chest and they're gone." I formed a sword from my iron armor and threw it straight at the first terapien's chest and it vaporized... The guard that had taken the first action followed my lead and the terapien evaporated.

"What about the crocians, those things are flexible and strong"

"That's their weakness, their muscles are all connected to their foramen magnum so a simple blow to that part they lose their strength" Alfred, I think, looked at me.

"Then what happens?" I looked back at him.

"They die" another guard I'd heard Alfred call Ben spoke up...

" if I may recall the crocians are far back, we have the gandans nearing "I looked over at him.

" those are an easy task, though a single bite from them can bring down a dragon "I was worried about my little girl, she had to experience this violence at this same tender age as I'd been

She couldn’t leave― there was nowhere else to go. Soleia desperately wanted her husband to return so he could offer her a helping hand. However, when he did, he returned with Elowyn, a woman he claimed was his true love. Duke Elsher had been foolish to let go― but the crown prince of Raxuvia wouldn’t make the same mistake. *** [Excerpt] After two long years, Soleia's husband had finally returned home. But he was not alone. “Your Grace,” Soleia said, trying her best to maintain a calm tone, “welcome home. How were your travels?” The man remained silent as he stared at her. “Oh,” the woman that Soleia's husband had brought back said. “I was just wondering where the servants were. No one has come to greet you since your return. Could you please help us bring―” Orion tugged the woman back, protectively holding her in his embrace. His eyebrows furrowed as he glared at Soleia, his sudden action causing the woman to look confused at him. “Orion?” she asked, her hands on his chest to steady herself. “What’s the matter?” “That’s not a servant." In one swift motion, he threw the sword out at Soleia, only to be stopped by a flash of scarlet and the coppery scent of blood. *** Prequel to Stolen by the Rebel King.
