Fume Knights are Alive and Everlasting Dragon.

When he had the head of Ornstein he removed the helmet from it and gazed at the head of his foe. He looked like a middle-aged man with a battle-scared face. Burns from ages past that never healed were easy to see.

Yellow eyes like a dragon from the uncountable number of dragons he had slain and been bathed in their blood. He looked at the body and stored it in his inventory as he walked back in to see how Seraphine and Solaire had done.

When he got back through the busted wall they were standing over the corpse of Smough. Seraphine was sitting on the chest of the giant corpse while Solaire held the soul of Smough in his hands.

He prepared to give it to Adrian, but Adrian shook his head.

"Keep it, I will teach you the method we would draw great power from such souls. Like this. Now, which one of you will keep the soul as it is only one."

Solaire and Seraphine gazed at the soul in his hands, but he handed it to Seraphine.

"Take it. I have no need for it. My miracles have served me well so this will be different."

She bowed to Solaire as he could gain quite a bit of power from taking it himself. When he handed the soul over she could feel the power in it. Adrian pulled out the soul of Ornstein and he knew how to do this by instinct.

"You have to take the soul into yourself and inherit the power inside. Depending on the power of the soul, the better."

He took the soul in his body and drained it of all the power it had. An electric aura surrounded him and he felt lightning course through his body. He held his hands in front of him and lightning appeared in his hands.

"Friend, you will learn miracles from me."

Adrian looked up at Solaire who wanted to teach him miracles. To use lighting blades and spears was fine with him.

"Fine."

He watched as Seraphine drained the power of it and a yellow aura surrounded her body. Unlike the game, she did not get bigger or grow gigantic and merely felt even greater strength in her muscles.

She held her greatsword with only two fingers as she watched how much power she gained from one soul. Solaire was proud of himself for helping someone else. Especially a comrade of battle, but now the important question needed to be answered.

Solaire and Seraphine looked at the head hooked to Adrian's waist and had to ask about it. She pointed at it and looked kind of off-put by it.

"I get you hated him and you love to take heads as trophies, but isn't taking his head too much?"

Adrian nodded.

"Oh, I need to use the leading commander's head as the finish on the Alter of Khorne. I told you I would tell you about him right?"

They both nodded and they waited for him to tell the story. He first decapitated Smough as he was going to add his and the countless giant and silver knight heads to the alter.

"Well to be frank he is a Chaos god. He is the God of Blood, Skulls, Honor, Martial Prowse, and quite a few more. He revels in slaughter which can be anything, from killing of friends and innocents to fighting honorably. It depends on the follower."

Solaire felt this was a really bad idea, but the system did not lie.

"Are you sure making this god's alter is a good idea?"

Adrian nodded.

"Yes, it is safe. He has no hold over this world really as he is bound to another dimension. This will merely allow him to gain some meager power as altars are where you worship them. Khorne only cares for bloodshed, no matter the amount."

Seraphine looked at the two heads he was holding and was curious.

"Meaning Khorne followers are either brutal maniacs or honorable warriors?"

Adrian nodded as he went to the elevator to go up.

"Come on, time to meet the fake god."

They went up and when they went up the elevator they got to the bonfire which they lit. He pointed at the large doors that led to the room of the illusion.

"Whatever you see here, it is an illusion and not real?"

They were confused, but he already opened the large doors which showed the giant Gwynavere. Before she even spoke, Adrian threw a throwing knife at her which went through her face which went right through.

The illusion was distorted and it dissipated into mist. Solaire and Seraphine looked at the former spot of the illusion and at Adrian. At that moment the illusion of the sun which made Solaire happy disappeared.

The angry voice of Gwyndolin sounded out in the room making Solaire and Seraphine braise for battle.

"CAPTAIN! Thou that tarnished the Godmother's image. Thy transgression shall not go unpunished. Thou shalt perish in the twilight of Anor Londo, Captian."

"Oh, you call me captain now? Where was that respect when my men were slaughtered?"

The trap did not bother to answer and left them alone. Adrian shook his head as he already knew of the perfect place for the Alter. In the center of Anor Londo, but it could wait. He had things to do.

"I want you two to go with Sif and Russ to the royal bank. It should be easy as we have not rested at any bonfire so the giants and silver knights are still dead. I got to go see what is left of my men."

Both of them nodded and left him be as he took a giant elevator to the dungeon. It was deep underground and on the descent, he whistled a tune his mother used to whistle when he was a boy.

He sighed as his parents were loving people and wanted to be grandparents. Yet they never got to be grandparents. He just did not like kids at all and could never bring a child into the world if he was going to make their life hell.

When he made it down he kept walking into the dungeon where the prisoners were kept. He expected them all to be dead, insane, or some other worse manner of life.

He knew only 11 Knights survived including August and he hoped those guys were alive. When he walked into the area that guarded their prisons he walked in and what he saw enraged him.

The surviving Fume Knights were alive, but they looked like skeletons who had never eaten a day in their lives. They managed to look up and he saw a light appear in their eyes like never before. Pure of hope and reverence.

"captain."

In a voice, nearly a whisper one of them spoke out which made him grab the cell bars and ripped off with brute force. He kneeled in front of him was afraid to touch him with how delicate this way.

"Harold?"

Harold looked up and a fire burned in his eyes. He was laughing like a madman and coughed with how delicate he was. The rest of the Fume Knights were no exceptions as they all were smiling despite their situations.

Their captain was back and that was all that mattered.

'System how much is Elizabeth's mushrooms to buy?'

<800 Souls.>

'Give me 250.'

They appeared in his inventory and he brought out one of them. He clenched his hand on it turning it squeezing out the juice making it fall into the open mouth Harold. The moment the healing effect took place the knight glowed light green.

It filled him with vitality and healing which pushed him from death's grip. Adrian pulled another one and placed it in his hands.

"Eat slow. You will need it."

He ripped off each cell bar before doing the same for each knight.

"As captain, I order all of you to stay quiet and focus on eating."

They all nibbled on the mushrooms in their hands and even now they could make jokes. One named Marcus looked at the mushroom in his hands and chuckled at how small it was.

"Couldn't feed us some real food? Cheap skate."

Adrian ignored him and walked to the very end of the dungeon where he found August barely alive. He was hooked to chains binding into the wall and from the look of it, had not moved in years.

Only the vitality of giants and his faith in the Firstborn had kept them alive and sane. They still believed in their war god and the belief in dragons. As long they had both, they would persevere, and now that their captain was back made them feel on top of the world.

August opened his eyes and when he saw the face of Adrian just like the rest of the knights he grinned. Adrian did the same as before and held the mushroom over his mouth and crushed it into juice.

When the healing effect took place he took the first breath without pain in centuries. He had suffered the attention of Onrstein as only he knew how to unlock the Dragon Sanctuary. He refused to give in as those dragons belonged to the captain.

His loyalty to Adrian was undying and he would follow him to Hell if he ordered. Adrian picked him up gently and walked back to where the knights were staying. They looked a bit healthier as the magic effect stimulated their healing abilities.

All of them looked ready to fight again as their captain was back. Adrian had no idea how any of them were alive and the giant thought they were mad. Probably lied to by Ornstein.

"You bastards. How are you still alive and sane? I was sure you were all dead."

One named Dorion bit into the mushroom with gusto as part giants and Lord this was not enough for them.

"Sane? You underestimate how crazy we all are captain. Besides, we are Fume Knights, built to endure. Did you get any more? These tiny scarps are not enough."

It seemed Adrian had underestimated the vitality of these guys as he could see their malnourished bodies healing. He handed them all more of the mushrooms and watched as they gorged themselves on healing items.

Each bite they took they filled them with vitality, recovering some meat on their bones at a fast rate. The more they ate the closer to recovery they got and Adrian could hear how their bones were popping back into place.

Each time they ate it was like magic, which it was but still. If this was Earth it would have taken months to years to recover someone from this kind of injury and malnutrition and yet they were doing it simply by eating.

"You guys stay here, I got to find them."

August who was joining on the healing feast pointed smiled as he knew it was time to awaken them.

"Captain, we waking the old girl up?"

Adrian nodded.

"Of course time to set her free."

All the Fume Knights grinned as she was the pride and joy of their order. The last Everlasting Dragon and she belonged to their captain. Plus, the other two dragons were still with her and they were just as valuable.

August sighed in relief as he began to feast on the mushrooms as well and even managed to stand.

"We got to find out gear. My sword spear was a gift from the First Born."

Adrian nodded as he started to walk to a second elevator.

"I will them up. Stay here and eat."

August grabbed 5 and devoured them all in one bite and nodded.

"Go captain, we won't die here after all. We got these scraps."

Adrian smiled as these guys were just like his war buddies, but better. He took the elevator even lower down and arrived deep underground. He saw a giant white shield that contained three coiled dragons.

They were hibernating until the Sanctuary was lifted. Adrian placed his palm on the shield and it began to flicker on and off.

"Release."

At that moment it crumbled like sand and the moment the dragons felt the familiar presence they began to stir. This whole area was gigantic as it was big enough for a mountain-sized dragon to be comfortable here.

Her giant eyes opened as she stood on all fours after centuries of hibernation. Her giant head moved toward Adrian as the other two dragons woke up as well. They were half her size and it showed.

"Amara, Devastator, Scorn, I am glad to see the three of you."

<Connection Established to Dragons, Amara, Devastator, and Scorn have been linked to the system. Dragon Realm Established.>

When the three dragons felt the connection to their master once again they roared out in pure joy. When the Fume Knights heard those roars they cheered that once again dragons would take to the skies.

Adrian pulled a lever here which started a secret function that caused an earthquake to hit Anor Londo. When Gwyndolin heard those roars he knew that the Fume Knights were free along with the dragons.

As for Seath he could care less. As long as Adrian left him to be he would leave him be. Anor Londo started to split apart like a giant puzzle. Solaire and Seraphine had already stolen all the bank had to offer were now in the sky on the back of Russ with Sif.

They were shocked, but even more so when they saw a true Everlasting Dragon alive. She flew out from underground followed by it were two more half the size of her, but still massive.

It made Russ feel inadequate as he looked at true dragons. Adrian looked at the dragons circling Anor Londo and he knew he made the right choice. Who did not love dragons?

he also felt his Dragon Tamer class Level up along with his Fume Knight one.

'Awesome.'

Now he had to make the Alter and call Andre to upgrade his weapons. Now that the Dragon Forge was available he could call Andre to work on his weapons. Knowing him he would arrive at lightspeed.

Next chapter I make the Alter. I reached my word limit of max 2,300.
