Before the Race (1)

"What? Your going to another world so soon?" Mikan couldn't help but ask as it only had been a few weeks since we traveled to our last world and we were there for several months.

"Yeah, what I did was having to seal those three away in a completely separate space but that will only hold for so long and not even that I had to give up some of my powers for a time to hold them in place but it's not perfect, but where I need to go it will allow me to learn a way to get it closer to perfection and deal with those monsters for good." I say looking over all the things I would need for the world I was about to head to.

"Do you really have to do this alone though?" Saki asked while Esdeath was leaning up against a wall with her arms crossed.

"The real question is whether he's coming back with another woman after this." She said while Kukulkan, Amande, Briar, Rebecca and Stocking were playing a poker game in the dining room.

"Freedom and weep bitches!" As Rebecca got a full house making Stocking and Briar growl in anger since they lost the bet and plenty of cash and gold they had gotten from their worlds from this bet.

"You don't need to worry about that, I'm strickly going to that world to learn more than anything, and besides that world has a rather low number of women heavily connected to the story, and those women are already married, excluding one but she's a Nun so that's not happening either." I say shaking my head as in reality only one girl that could is closely related to the story but if I don't do anything she ends up dead and as I said she's a nun and as such she wouldn't be an option anyway.

In fact I wasn't really looking for more girls to fall in love with me and me to end up marrying in the end, then again me knowing I was a story character and taking my past into account I'm most likely a harem protagonist, not that I mind being one but those story's the main guy really has no guy friends in those stories and I'm just happy that I actually do though.

Though even though I said that Esdeath was giving me a death glare but a I shugged it off, "If I somehow do get another woman, which I know I won't, you can stab me all you want." But as I said I wasn't worried that would happen.

Sure there's Lucy but like I said she's married and loves her husband, Hotpants is a Nun and if I don't do anything she dies but as a Nun she wouldn't want to get into a relationship anyway and that's really it, it's another story if I was going to Stone Ocean instead, which I might need to go to at some point to expand the power of the infinite as well.

So I buy my new set of clothes through with my own bit of flair to fit a bit in with the Jojo-esque style, cowboy outfit, hat and duster with fingerless gloves, a few revolvers under my coat before changing my face a bit to make myself look a bit older, giving me a bit of chin stubble in return along with longer hair.

"Whoa, going into the Wild West or something?" Stocking asked as she stopped playing the poker game to come see what was going on.

"That's the plan, it's also where I will get a new upgrade to my powers along with dealing with the looming threat I set aside." I said while holstering my guns along with a 'bag' that will hold all my stuff instead of what my inventory will be holding all of my stuff in the meantime.

"Hmmm…. You know ever since my world we haven't really done anything together, so maybe I could tag along with you?" She said making me raise my eyebrow as I turned to look at her.

"It's the Wildwest you know? Like we are going on horseback for several months as we go coast to coast across the United States in the early 1890's, there's no ac or even the most basic Amenities, you got to use the bathroom you got to go do it behind a tree or in some bushes." I said to her but she shrugged.

"Hey, I'm not some basic bitch who can't deal with living outdoors, besides it allows me to have a vacay with my boyfriend for a change and keep you to myself." She said seeming determined to come along with me and she wasn't really wrong.

After all it has been awhile like she said (roughly 150 chapters) since then and with the worlds in between it's been more like years altogether since I was in her world where it's only been a few months in realtime.

And I do feel a bit bad I haven't really spent as much time with her, even though both Mikan and Saki were extremely pissed finding out I had sex with her first before them, that night was pretty intense to say the least especially in the bedroom.

And I mean it's not like I don't spend time with them in my off time it's just that nothing really major happen when I did hang out with them, besides having sex I guess but that's between me and them when that happens.

"Haaa…. If you want to then sure I guess, and this way will make the others feel better about me being in another world." I said to which she got excited and ran off to the bathroom to change her clothes into a more suitable outfit.

And less than half an hour later she came back while wearing a cowgirl outfit that was befitting of the world we were going to, "So? How do I look?"

"You look perfect, but you look good in anything you wear." I say as I sling my knapsack behind my back.

"Ready?" I asked her to which she nodded and grabbed my hand before we said our goodbyes to everyone as we disappeared from their eyes.

And in their eyes it was only mere moments since we disappeared that we returned as they felt a clear change in both of us.

"Welcome home."

September 23 1890, San Diego, California

Two Days before the start of the Steel Ball Run Race.

"So this is the Wild West huh? Well it does fit the look." Stocking couldn't help but mutter as we made our way down the streets of San Diego on top of our horses and towards the San Diego Hotel where the registration of the event would take place.

"Well it's gonna get more Western like as the Race commences." I say as we see a massive stable nearby that was constructed for the event as we dropped off our horses before proceeding to the large betting booth that people were lining up towards.

Luckily there were six lines for people and it being the morning the lines weren't that long and thus we were already at the booth in less than half an hour.

"Participating in the Race or betting on a Racer?"
